Well, the way you did it in the way you PMed me about is wrong
You need to add the kernel source to your local_manifest.xml
go to your source's root
then go to the ".repo" folder (its hidden)
create a file called "local_manifest.xml"
paste the following contents into that file:
Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<manifest>
<project path="kernel/htc/msm8960" name="android_kernel_htc_msm8960" remote="cm" revision="jellybean" />
</manifest>
then resync the source, it should download the kernel source
next, do a make clobber and then try to build again

Thank you I will you the man

thanks.. works greats.. a little lag thou
I had some lag for the first three seconds, but it's running smooth now. Running ParanoidAndroid with stock CM9 kernel. No OC or anything else.
yup, seems to lag for the first 3 seconds during the start of the game, after that it runs pretty smooth, thanks again for sharing.
It wiped out my save file.
Had to restore via titanium backup.
No idea where I went wrong.

frist of all be sure it's not gonna wipe ur save files ...
i tested it myself ...
actually i did it with this guidence on following page
http://www.jayceooi.com/2012/07/05/...gra-3-extended-effects-on-non-tegra-3-device/
but it's not any diffrences between these 2 page
good luck
I know right?
I know lots of people have success. I followed the guide fully too...
Tried again today. No luck.
Am using Root explorer to edit xml file.
I did connect my Dead Trigger game to the online account though. Maybe that is why. I am at level 21.

It worked now it's actually fun to play this game :cyclops:
didnt work when I did it with root explorer in mobile.
but I used ultraedit or any other hex editor and do it on pc.
worksed like a charm.
thanks
Thanks for the tip. Will use a hex editor instead. Perhaps this is where I went wrong.

I have resolved the issue lol thanks to their cloud save.
I saved my progress online, wipes my game data, did the xml modifications, played till I get the New Hope access, then loaded my saved game back.

Why not using cf3d?

Not everybody (including me) likes to use an app to do basic stuff like this. It takes one minute to do this, and i'm not dependent on an extra app to run a game.
There's been an update in the Play store for this game.. is it safe to let it update or should I just keep ignoring it?
I have no idea. Backup the config file you've edited, update and check if it's working. If not, just paste the config file back. That should do it.

is it just me, when using tegra effect the game seems bit laggy? especially the water drop effect on screen...
Just wanted to let anyone/everyone else know that the update didn't alter our modifications. Ultra high settings remain.

You will have to get prebuilts i.e proprietary files of cyanogenmod for that(assuming you're in source code directory)
Code:
cd vendor/cm
./get-prebuilts
You're good to go

If nobody answers you, it might be because nobody can help you with so little information. Additionally you should post that somewhere in Android Software Development section.
Opening another thread with the same topic 5 minutes later here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-sensation/help/one-help-t2994147 will also not help.
I posted one in android development section they moved it from there
