Here's how you enable the Tegra 3 effects in Dead Trigger (water effect, ragdoll etc.)
I've done thid myself and it works and runs great.
1. First of all, enable graphics details to high in setup/others.
2. Exit game.
3. Use root explorer like ES File Explorer.
4. Go to /data/data/com.madfingergames.deadtrigger/shared_prefs/ folder.
5. Edit com.madfingergames.deadtrigger.xml file.
6. Change < int name=”UnityGraphicsQuality” value=”1″ /> to <int name=”UnityGraphicsQuality” value=”2″ / >.
7. Change < int name=”OptionsGraphicDetail” value=”2″ /> to <int name=”OptionsGraphicDetail” value=”3″ / >.
8. Save it.
9. Modify permissions to remove all write permission on User, Group and Other.
10. Delete com.madfingergames.deadtrigger.xml.bak.

thanks.. works greats.. a little lag thou
I had some lag for the first three seconds, but it's running smooth now. Running ParanoidAndroid with stock CM9 kernel. No OC or anything else.
yup, seems to lag for the first 3 seconds during the start of the game, after that it runs pretty smooth, thanks again for sharing.
It wiped out my save file.
Had to restore via titanium backup.
No idea where I went wrong.

http://www.jayceooi.com/2012/07/05/...gra-3-extended-effects-on-non-tegra-3-device/
but it's not any diffrences between these 2 page
good luck
I know right?
I know lots of people have success. I followed the guide fully too...
Tried again today. No luck.
Am using Root explorer to edit xml file.
I did connect my Dead Trigger game to the online account though. Maybe that is why. I am at level 21.

didnt work when I did it with root explorer in mobile.
but I used ultraedit or any other hex editor and do it on pc.
worksed like a charm.
thanks
Thanks for the tip. Will use a hex editor instead. Perhaps this is where I went wrong.

Not everybody (including me) likes to use an app to do basic stuff like this. It takes one minute to do this, and i'm not dependent on an extra app to run a game.
There's been an update in the Play store for this game.. is it safe to let it update or should I just keep ignoring it?
I have no idea. Backup the config file you've edited, update and check if it's working. If not, just paste the config file back. That should do it.

is it just me, when using tegra effect the game seems bit laggy? especially the water drop effect on screen...
Just wanted to let anyone/everyone else know that the update didn't alter our modifications. Ultra high settings remain.

- If your account has lot of files, & you can't upgrade yourself, I would prefer if you PM me your info. so you won't have any issues with posting your info in a forum. (may take lil longer as I am not emailed with PM's, like I am with posts.

» PLEASE HIT "THANKS" Button
F.A.Q
Question: What's the 'catch'?
Answer: No catch at all. It is a legit promotion box.net runs occasionally, guessing to bring users in.
Question: All I need to do is change my build.prop file & I can do this myself?
Answer: Yes, what it does is 'trick' the app into thinking you have a device eligible for the upgrade
Question: So how long will I get the 50GB? Will my account ever be downgraded to 5GB?
Answer: Once you get your 50GB Box account, you’ll never be downgraded and the space is yours for the life of the account. (directly from box F.a.q)
Question: I have a previous promotion upgrade on my account, will this add 50gb to my current space
Answer: No it will not
Question: How long will it take you to upgrade my account?
Answer: I will upgrade soon as I get a chance (Normally get to it within the hour).
Question: My device is stuck in a bootloop trying to upgrade myself. Did I do something wrong? What do I do now?
Answer: Most likely you probably did everything perfectly. For some reason a handful of people are having this issue. Rest no one had any issues, & really smooth. If happens, wipe all partitions except SD card (or superwipe), & restoring your Nandroid backup should solve your problem.
NOTE: Seems like some samsung devices are the devices getting bootloops.

Here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=39335178 you can find LG G2 keyboard with themes which works on our device.
Follow this small how to
1) Download [Thanks to RocketSauce83] and paste it to your SD card.
2) Install apk
2a) By default: Installation of this apk will update your original keyboard app.
2b) If not, rename your original LGIMEbin.apk in system/app directory to something like this: LGIMEbin.apk.bak.
2c) Reboot and try install again.
3) Enable handwrite
Open build.prop and edit this line:
ime_handwriting_apply=false
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
to
ime_handwriting_apply=true
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Save changes.
Reboot
4) Add other funcions
Open build.prop and add/paste these lines to bottom/end of the text:
ime_extend_row_keyboard=true
ime_onehand_keyboard=true
ime_split_keyboard=true
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Save changes.
Reboot
5) Add emoji
5a) Download AndroidEmoji.zip [Thanks to RocketSauce83] and unzip.
5b) AndroidEmoji.ttf paste it to system/fonts directory
5c) set correct permisions
rw-
r--
r--
5d) Now go to system/etc directory and open xml file with this name: fallback_fonts.xml
5e) Scroll down and look for the start of the list with used fonts. It look like this:
Code:
.
.
....That file can also specify the order in which the fallback fonts should be
searched, to ensure that a vendor-provided font will be used before another fallback font
which happens to handle the same glyph.
-->
<familyset>
<family>
<fileset>
<!--<file>DroidNaskh-Regular.ttf</file>-->
<file>LG_Arabic.ttf</file>
</fileset>
</family>
<family>
<fileset>
<file>DroidSansEthiopic-Regular.ttf</file>
</fileset>
</family>
.
.
.
5f) To top of the list paste these few lines:
Code:
<family>
<fileset>
<file>AndroidEmoji.ttf</file>
</fileset>
</family>
Now it will look like this:
Code:
.
.
....That file can also specify the order in which the fallback fonts should be
searched, to ensure that a vendor-provided font will be used before another fallback font
which happens to handle the same glyph.
-->
<familyset>
<family>
<fileset>
<file>AndroidEmoji.ttf</file>
</fileset>
</family>
<family>
<fileset>
<!--<file>DroidNaskh-Regular.ttf</file>-->
<file>LG_Arabic.ttf</file>
</fileset>
</family>
.
.
.
5g) Save changes.
6) Open build.prop and add/paste these lines to bottom/end of the text:
ro.config.libemoji=libemoji_lge.so
ro.lge.capp_emoji=true
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
Save changes.
Reboot
Notes:
Remember: Always create backups.
From the attached files you can download my edited build.prop and fallback_fonts.xml files. I´m on V30A original ICS rom. You can paste these two files to correct directories (set correct permisions) if you are on same rom like me. But maybe will works on other roms too.

Must be rooted. Edit build.prop persist.splitwindow .support_all
open system folder
-scroll to build.prop (past folders)
-copy/make backup
-open as text in text editor
-scroll to persist.splitwindow.support_all
-change value to true
- save and reboot
Depending on your app/tool you may need to copy build.prop somewhere, edit and replace old one in system with edited version.
Enjoy.

I downloaded the app you suggested but I am still having trouble finding the build prop. I'm not sure where I am too look. Thanks for the help thus far.
QUOTE=mjgspr95;54316205]You need a good file manager with system access or an app or an app to edit build.prop. I use rom toolbox pro. Root Explorer is a good option I've used before too.

-open system folder
-scroll to build.prop (past folders)
-copy/make backup
-open as text in text editor
-scroll to persist.splitwindow.support_all
-change value to true
- save and reboot
Depending on your app/tool you may need to copy build.prop somewhere, edit and replace old one in system with edited version.

Working great, thanks! What kind of order are the apps in? Mine seems pretty random.
Random also

mjgspr95 great info - Might want to edit the OP to show the procedure and possibly change the title to [GUIDE] How to enable all apps in SplitView just to make it easier to find for people and keep the forums organized - also I am pretty sure this should be in General. But thank you for the info - it worked great for me.
and for those who are looking for a file browser - might want to check out ROOT Explorer

I bet you are trying to use Root Explorer to edit the file. Unfortunately the file size is too big and Root Explorer A) won't even show the entire file's contents and B) won't let you save the file even if the right commands were editable......
You have to find another alternative. Personally I pushed the file out of the phone, edited it on my computer, and pushed it back to the phone. It worked fine.

As much as I like (and also recommend) Root Explorer, it won't work with the build.prop file as it is too big for the Root Explorer text editor.

I use root explorer as well. I didn't realize that the text editor cant handle that large of a file... Anyway this is the way that I got around it on my Mac:
On Mac:
adb pull /system/build.prop .
vi build.prop
<Make changes>
adb push ./build.prop /mnt/sdcard/
On phone:
Remount /system RW in Root explorer
Rename /system/build.prop to /system/build.prop.bak
Move /sdcard/build.prop to /system/build.prop
Reboot
You could always just download build prop editor from the play store and it works and is easy.

Edited the build.prop file. Ended up soft bricking my phone. Was able to reset but not fun.
This is an app that doesn't require mucking with build prop. Works well for me.

This thread is older than yours. (At least older than the one that I found.)
Found this on phonearena.com and figured I'd share this. I take no credit for this and am merely posting for those who may have missed this. I haven't tried this yet, but many are saying it works. The link to original article and instructions are below:
http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-...d-apps-and-enjoy-better-multitasking_id73276
1. Install the build.prop editor app from Google Play ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.apps.build.prop.editor&hl=en ).
2. Go to the #DHA Properties part and change the following entries' values like this:
ro.config.dha_cached_max=12
ro.config.dha_empty_max=36
3. Add the following lines below these entries:
ro.config.dha_th_rate=2.3
ro.config.dha_lmk_scale=0.545
ro.config.sdha_apps_bg_max=70
ro.config.sdha_apps_bg_min=8
4. Finally, delete the following four lines from the build.prop file:
ro.config.dha_cached_max=
ro.config.dha_empty_max=
ro.config.dha_th_rate=
ro.config.dha_lmk_scale=
5. Save the changes and reboot your Note5. Now, the phablet shouldn't be closing tasks so aggressively.
As always, backup your data before doing this and you do this at your own risk!!!

doubt i'll use this, but it's good to know that it's there if i ever need it. thanks!
I have a question about the instructions:
3. Add the following lines below these entries:
ro.config.dha_th_rate=2.3
ro.config.dha_lmk_scale=0.545
ro.config.sdha_apps_bg_max=70
ro.config.sdha_apps_bg_min=8
4. Finally, delete the following four lines from the build.prop file:
ro.config.dha_cached_max=
ro.config.dha_empty_max=
ro.config.dha_th_rate=
ro.config.dha_lmk_scale=

Why does it say to add two lines and then to remove them?

I read it 5 times lambert looks right to me, but worse.
he has you edit 2, then add 2 and delete those same 4.
Original artical has same issue, it's missing something or a copy psste error.
