[THEME][SKY-JB.T7][CM10] Battery and Signal Icon Themes (Updated: 11/7) - UNSUPPORTED - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

These mods are currently unsupported by me as of 11/9/12. Support may resume at a later date. Use at your own risk.
All the below battery icons are not my own original work, they are ported from the SKY-ICS ROM or images picked up from other threads/themes. I created a new thread just for these because I didn't want to clutter up the ROM thread with discussion on this subject.
Confirmed Compatible ROMs:
SKY-JB T7
SKY-JB T10 (confirmed working, but unconfirmed if sean has made changes to SystemUI.apk in T10 that this will overwrite)
CM10
If you have any image packs or suggestions on new themes, just let me know and I can create them.
Notes:
1. These mods are for the T7 base only. I have not tested them on any other rom or release from seanzscreams. Feel free to try and post your results.
2. Again, I don't take credit for the artwork, just the ports.
3. I have not tested all of them (I'm lazy), but I did test the stock battery zip. So, if you run into an issue, that one will get you back to stock.
4. Let me know if there are any issues or bugs, I can turn around fixes pretty quickly.
5. CircleDigital and Speedo do have % indicators, you just cannot see them against the white background on this thread.
6. These are all 1% indicators. Meaning, they display 1-100 while charging and not charging.
7. They all have appropriate charge animations unless otherwise noted.
8. I haven't yet modified the wi-fi signal bars because I didn't have any that I really liked.
9. Make sure that in settings, you have your battery display set to Icon or else the images will not show up.
Instructions:
1. Download zip
2. Put on SDCARD
3. Flash via CWM
4. ????
5. BEERS!
6. Reboot
ZIP files with the cr prefix have the Crysis signal icons. Those without the prefix ... well .. they have stock signal icons.
Don't forget to hit Thanks! if you use any of these.

Cool, will have to try these once I flash JB, I am digging the speed/tach/db meter/whateverthehell style one.

I have a few more icon sets that some people asked for. I'll work on those tomorrow.

sorry but what's the diff between crysis and non crysis?

Think you may have mixed up some of the files. I downloaded the digital circle (CircleDigital_JB-T7.zip) and the big android icon installed instead.
Works like a charm though!

Non-Crysis has the stock signal bars, the Crysis versions have the Crysis signal bars.

The non-crysis will continue to show your signal bar as it is in its current state.

crysis changes the signal bar look and appearance. Non crysis is the stock looking signal bars. Look above for the example.

Why not run a backup and give it a rip? Probably the only way we'll find out.

They should work on cm10

More Batteries for status bar

It seems that a lot of people like my battery icons, every time I post a screen shot somewhere someone always asks "what battery is that?"
So...
These are MetaMorph themes and they work with the latest Sense builds. Your ROM must already have the battery percent on your ROM already for these to work.
NOTE: These have been tested on the following ROMs:
Skyraider 3.0 and above
Wes342's Super-Z
Nils Business_Sense_Desire-Z
I will do some more research and find out what other ROMs are compatable.
The ROMs above use a folder in the framework named "drawable-hdpi" some of the other ROMs use a folder named"drawable-hdpi-v4"
I am currently working on these for the Virtuous 3.1.0 Rom.
I can't express enough how important it is to do a nand backup first, you are modifying system files! Be forewarned, I can not be held responsible for anything that goes wrong.
I have had hit and miss luck with MetaMorph, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I have had a couple of occasions where it has locked up my phone and I have had to restore from a backup.
Alternative method:
If you are familiar with modifying framework files you can also modify your framework-res.apk file and use adb to push it back to your phone.

I could possibly but I don't know how soon. I do this in my spare time (which I don't have a lot of).
There are 137 batteries counting the charge images so it takes a lot of time.

These are not working in metamorph..

Hopefully you done a backup first.
I done some research and Virtuous Rom has a different framework than Skyraider 3.5 and SuperZ ROMs.
It looks like I should have done some more research before posting these.
Restore from your backup and then try this file for the WIFI, it should work for you.
LINK
Let me know if it works and I will make the battery files compatable with your ROM as well.
I will edit the original post.
Well I got it to work using ninjamorph by manually inserting the wifi pngs into the framework.apk. What I noticed about the battery pack is that your script isn.t inserting the png's into the right folder. The icons look great though good work.

UPDATE...
Added clearer instruction.
Added Gauge Batteries
they look great. any aosp?
You have in your instructions that they work for Sense roms but I just installed the Red mod. battery on CM6.1 so like you said metamorph is funny like that.
I can't get the wifi one to work.. running Uber Z sense rom..
Different ROMs use different framework structure.
I just checked the UberZ ROM and here is what you need to do to make it work.
Go to the theme folder and rename the "drawable-hdpi" folder to "drawable-hdpi-v4"
Then it should work.

I've been running the one that got taken down all day now and I haven't had any problems. As an avid CM 7 user I have to say that this GB sense Rom just plain works! It is fast and smooth. I didn't think I would be impressed, but I honestly am. I will probably go back to CM tomorrow, but I thought I'd give it at least a day. I might flash this one because I like the theme. Thanks for your work!

The one in my froyo rom is the green android circle one. It was given to me. It can be found in themes. I didnt swap boot animation because this rom after first boot, only takes a couple seconds. Even faster with ODEX.

Looks awesome. Can you do a "Sense" stype but blue like the Galaxy batteries?
My CM7 theme that I use, Captivated, has a sweet blue with white border battery icon with the percentage in a nice big readable format.
They all look awesome btw but I dig blue over the green. Plus it's some flare. Shouldn't be too hard.

[MOD] Wheeled Battery v1.1 & Wolf Battery v1 for WB GB v3.6

Ok well this is my first battery mod attempt and I take no responsibility for any damage it may cause, so backup and you'll be ok.
So, I was tired of all the ones I've seen so I decided to make one myself. I wanted something that looked like an odometer with a wheel that rolled to each number. And after a lot of work, I got it done. I started this last night and finished it today at work on my netbook, which made it harder without an actual mouse.
What I did:
Well I created my pictures using just Paint for windows 7 with the line and text tools. I used APK Edit to open my framework apk. Replaced all the stat_sys_battery and stat_sys_battery_charge png's with mine and repacked the apk. I had the "Digital Battery for WB GB v3.6" so using 7zip, I opened it and replaced the framework with mine. Flashed it and it worked but had FC's on the system Settings. So I redid it using 7zip to replace all the png's. Now everything seems to be ok, no FC yet.
Just be sure to backup before attempting to flash this, or anything really, thats what I do.
Install Procedure:
1. Boot into xRecovery
2. Make a backup (just in case)
3. Mount the "system" and "data"
4. Install custom zip "Wheeled Battery v1.1 for WB GB v3.6"

So I decided to make another battery mod today. Didn't come out like I wanted so I might redo it later. If you want to try it just download it from the link below. I made this one to coincide with Wolfs roms. The charging icons came out like I wanted but the normal % didn't.
Here you go though, my Wolf Battery mod for WB 3.6
Install instructions can be found in the first post. (mount system & data then flash custom zip)

OMG!! looks good..
Update:
I'm working on fixing this right now. I decided to try and just replace the png's using 7zip instead of the APK Editor. So, I did that and decided to reflash the Digital Battery mod to reset my framework. Having a problem though. I reflashed the Digital Battery but its still showing mine. I deleted the cache & dalvik, but still hasn't changed. Anyone know why my new one is sticking around and not being replaced?
Anyways, I'm restoring a backup right now. Then I'll try my new version (v1.11) and hopefully it works. If its does then I'll post it. If not, then I'll keep trying and keep you updated!
EDIT:
Guess I'm just too dense this morning... Forgot to mount the system and data before applying the zip. Everything works now! I haven't gotten any FC's where I was before. Ill update the main post with instructions.
Bored. If anyone has a battery idea tell me, ill to make it. Going to start on another idea I have until then. Thinking something custom for wolfs roms.

Did this one today after putting Wolfbreaks v4 in. All my old ones cab be ported over but I wont unless someone asks. This doesn't remove the status bars power control.
Same as always, mount system and data then flash custom zip.
