[Theme][MIUI 0.11.5] Nicenblu

This is a theme I put together based off of xvenom89's NuBlu theme found here:

I made this theme to suit my needs and I know a few people used it on the 1.29 build so I figured I would post it up here.
All credit goes to xvenom89 and his work creating the framework mods (especially the .9.png's , and for doing all of the hard work).
Additions to NuBlu:
Changed battery and GPS icons to match the rest of the colors
Modified the lockscreen slider to blue while charging
Restored the original MIUI grey semi-transparent pop-up menus
Added CM blue Nexus live wallpaper
Added a few of my favorite wallpapers and lockscreen wallpapers to the default MIUI selection menu
Modified the original MIUI(1.29) style icons to blue
Added folding animations (Personally I like set the Window and Transition animation setting to fast in Spare Parts)

Instructions:
Just flash over the top of bcnice20's MIUI test 5 rom located here:
http://forums.miui-dev.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=17
I wiped cache and dalvic, but didn't need to wipe data. Your mileage may vary.
Also, I recommend booting into the Rom first, then flashing the theme.

P.S. I've gotten reports on here and on the miui-dev forum that this theme will flash correctly on both the nexus1 and incredible miui builds. You're mileage may vary: nandroid first!!!

Yup. I've successfully flashed over the 11.5 rom by bcnice. It worked on both his test 3 and test 5 versions.

This is really a great theme to compliment the MIUI ROM. I'm using RoDrIgUeZsTLe MIUI and it works fine with it on my N1. The screen transitions in certain apps is so cool and gives the ROM a slick feel.

Much appreciated. The theme might flash over builds for other phones ie. Incredible, N1, but I worked from xvenom89's evo theme as a base. The frameworks for other rom's might be similar.
Good luck flashing and post if it works on any other builds.

It should work with the newest stable (11.5). I didn't notice any framework changes and I flashed it fine.

So, what would it take to get this running with Calkulin's EViO 2 ROM v1.5.1 ? Its a great looking theme and I'd love to have this running on this ROM if possible, just can't seem to find any descent blue themes for sense roms.

I haven't worked on any sense based themes in a while, but most of things like the menu styles and launcher are unique to MIUI roms and would be nearly impossible to port over to sense without the source and a serious amount of development investment.
Interm of blue themes for sense, I normally take my rom as a base and cut and paste in framework mod's from different themes like the galaxy and others to make a hybrid. It's a lot of work but if I ever go back to sense I will release some blue themes for the community.

You wouldn't think so, but I haven't done it yet. Its the same so I'm sure you can.
EDIT/UPDATE:
This will work perfect, you don't have to Wipe if your are coming from Quantum 1.5.

You don't lose anything but a few seconds doing it, so it couldn't hurt.

I made to many changes beyond apps and framework, to just copy over stuff wouldn't be a good idea. I played with the idea and it wasn't as smooth.

This is very cool.
I was using Quantum 1.5 but with the "newemail" addon. Anyone doing that will have to re-install that addon, as well, or you will get FC's. It looks like the other addons are fine; I'm guessing the email one is a problem because the new rom will install the other version on top of it. In any case, it was trivial to fix.
Everything in the theme seems to have worked except the wallpaper. I don't have it and I can't find.

i have a tmobile theme chooser theme made that looks exactly like this...just waiting for enough monies for market fees

I'll be flashing this tomorrow. All I have with me right now is my CR-48. Been wanting that keyboard and widget.

Maybe some clarification on installation would help. NO wiping no nothing? Fix permissions? I like the looks of this theme but I have been running into some weird problems.
I flashed recovery via 1-click NVflash. I have since been flashing ROMS and such just fine, everything works fine and I get all the features.
But what I dont get is the modified launchers. I still have the stock AOSP launcher. Even after I flash eagles blooed I get the black notifications bar and features but no sense-like launcher. Now when I flash this theme I get the same thing. All the other features other than wallpaper change and launcher change...
Anybody help me out with what I am doing wrong?

You need to download your own apps and do your own customizations...
LauncherPro with the Sense theme (both can be found on the market)

Its just a simple theme everyone. Changes the status bar and adds the keyboard.

Gotchya, thanks. I thought the themes actually included the real launcher, not a themed one. My favorite is the Xperia Launcher... wonder where I can get that.

From what I understand porting launchers from one manufacturer to another isn't easy. Your best bet may to find a theme, but that won't give you what you want.

The keyboard is completely awesome.
I don't know why I thought I'd get the LG widget, though. Anybody got a link to where I can get it? Thanks in advance.

Yes I did hear that a team was working on porting sense to the galaxy s line, but I didn't keep up with that project. Never heard that someone was working on the Xperia launcher. I haven't personally used it but everything I've read about it makes me think it would be pretty cool to have.
My fiancee has the Galaxy S 4G so I guess I should keep up with what goes on with Galaxy S phones now. LOL

[Mod] Accurate Battery Mods for LG 2.3.3 OTA (Stock & Deodexed)

Here are two accurate battery mods for the newly released 2.3.3 update from LG & T-Mobile. I have created one for the completely stock OTA\leak and one for Deodexed versions (XBoarder has both available), please make sure you choose the correct one. They are stock themed, exactly as they came from LG. These replace the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk, so any previous theming or mods will be overwritten.
Install Instructions
Make a nandroid backup (not required, but highly recommended)
Reboot into CWM Recovery
Flash the accurate battery mod for your build
Wipe Dalvik-cache
Fix permissions
Reboot
Enjoy!

Thanks for the manual update, havent had time to do that myself and as you know, our fab kitchen has been down . Ill def use these. How does this differ from the Stock OTA though? Thought that had screen-off anim working no issue.

[MOD] Swiping Notifications - 4.67 OTA Based Roms [SENSE 1.0] - Updated 2/20/12

Greetings Everyone,
I am back again to bring you a new mod. Swiping away notifications from the status bar. For those of you who have used cm7 or any rom based off it, you probably know what I am talking about.
Swipe an individual notification left or right to clear it from the notifications list.

What is needed for this to work.
A DeOdexed 4.67 OTA based rom.
A recovery that flashes edify scripts.
Note
Please check with your rom's developer to see if he/she has made any modifications to the SystemUI.apk or framework.jar ... if they haven't and you haven't added any custom themes that override these files you should be all set..
This will overwrite Quick Settings, if you have flashed that already. I will be adding a merged version soon.

well i tried to install it on SOS and now my com.android.phone is force closing and my process.statusbar is also force closing. after a little bit the phone just reboots. any way to reverse this or do i need to just factory wipe.

If you installed this on v1.9.0.9 that was a big no-no lol You can fix this error by re-flashing the ROM. No wiping needed.

too bad this doesn't work on mini rom.

This specific file won't. But ca1ne provided a diff file to help any dev brave enough. It shouldn't be too hard

How did you flash this? I tried flashing this zip over SOS v2.0.1 off (stock) and with SOS v2.0.1 with extended quick setting already installed and it didn't work. I used ROM Mananger with ClockworkMod 5.0.2.2. In both instances, I not only cleared the cache/data, I also cleared the davik cache.
