I notice the native O3D camera app does not allow tap to focus in video recording mode.
Anyone recommend to me an alternative video rec app that has tap to focus that works during a recording?

I use LGCamera for do that.
With LGCamera I can use tap to focus and zoom during recording as 2D and 3D.
I have a Pro version.

I've found this pretty app which takes 2D full screen pictures(16:9). It really gives good quality pictures, try it.
Once you open the app click back button to see options and change them.
Note: Free version gives just 0.3MP quality while the full version gives full 5MP.
can also try pudding camera.
The Panorama camera in that app also gives full screen. Free app
default camera is bad?

Actually the original GTR camera application allows to shot photo and record video from front cam. Just tap on top icon on the left side to set video recording mode
I don't know why you are looking for this app, but if it is for the looks of it you should try MIUI Music too. I find it so much better than our stock music player.

LG Camera, when it runs is the best camera app. But it crashes too often on this phone. Actually, sometimes it crashes the phone, so I quickly uninstalled it.
Vignette Demo runs nice, but there is a long delay when taking pictures.
Camera FV-5 Lite is a nice camera app. You can press a button to focus, then quickly take a picture. But it has no videocam and sometimes crashes.
What are the rest of you using? Tell us!
For pictures, I use "camera illusion", and for video recording, "videocam illusion".
ICS Camera is great for pictures, videos, and panoramas!

hi i have a android phone and wanted to know a full list of video filming Camcorder apps
i have used ancorder the main android cam app films 720x480 but this app films 852x480 16:9 but bitriate is too low its like 700kbps mpeg4 and pixalted alot
please list all cam apps so i can test out the video rec thx
Ýou can use Camera Pro from Google. Play Store. Ýou can set the frame rate ýou want.
