In ics (CM9) gallery there is an option to separate photos by location people ?? But there is no option how to do that ??

Open gallery. On the top tap where it says "albums".... and you'll get an option to group photos by location , people etc.

Can we increase the number f contacts that can be added to a group msg....
Currently I hav option to enter only 10 contacts per group msg...
I really hope it to b near 50....
U can use any other contacts app. Try go contacts. Maybe it will fulfil your needs.

Just some questions abt the Remics 1.3 rom
1)Why is there no chinese input setting for the keyboard? cant seem to find the option to type in chinese characters. Is there anyway i can get a keyboard with chinese input other than downloading it from the market?
2)I prefer a pop up msg for the SMS settings, i tried replacing the MMS.apk from MIUI ICS but it didnt seem to work. Anyone has any idea how to get the pop up setting for SMSes ?
3) My external SD recently stopped working, is there a way to get the music player to read from the internal SD, everytime i start up it says ''SD card not inserted''

Go into Settings --> Storage --> click menu key and select "Storage Configuration --> Uncheck "Use Internal Storage"

If you have synced your contacts with Google, then you can sync them using your Gmail account!
For some reason, contacts app is unable to import contacts from SIM! Maybe its a bug in base CM9!

Hello,
I have searched for a couple of hours now. I have found other phones being able to run the samsung gallery app on their non samsung phone. The note 2 gallery app allows you to view in timeline, spiral and gridview. This is what i want. I have downloaded the ones for other phones but it's now working on mines.
I'm on AOKP swagger and have installed the update for 4.2 camera and gallery as well...
Anyone ported that feature for the sensation yet?

^^ I installed an apk someone extracted form siii but it doesn't work.
Everyone knows that the stock gallery app of samsung galaxy series have an option to hide the pics.I used that feature to hide some of my photos and after that i installed custom rom on my phone.Now the stock gallery app is not present and i need that photos back.How can i get it ??

Hello! You could perhaps install a Gallery app from the Playstore, or flash Gapps that have got the stock Gallery.

I have been using these AOSP based custom ROMs and also the EU ROMs on RN7Pro, Whenever I try to send some images on any social media app like Whatsapp etc, it shows the image and on clicking the image it is not the same, there's this thumbnail mismatch. Even the gallery app gives this mismatch.
Please Help !!

Bro u r facing really weird problems. Lol!!! Try deleting the folder .Thumbnails from file manager u may find it in miui folder. Also try clearing cache of gallery app.

I manually cleared all the thumbnails in DCIM folder and Pictures folder, it solved the problem for me, you should try the same even if there are some images in the SD card, clear the thumbnails there too, this will solve the problem for you !!
