touch pro 6850 screen goes black unless you squeeze it

anyone have a fix? sounds like a loose cable or something.
been searching online can't find any repair guide with pictures
on how to open this thing up.

[Q] WinMobile QUERTY DualSim,fake "WM6.5" ?

Hi Guys,
having had the "pleasure" tried three other DualSim ChinaPhones, I know that our Chinese Friends (they always call everybody "my firend") are up to everything to make a few 100.000 sales.
Here I found a QWERTY WinMobile which would be a fine solution ( for DualSim AND WinMobile) if the look of the display icons wouldnt make me suspicious...
It would be kind if you guys have a visual look at it and write your opinion.

I've seen that same model on Solomobi and it does run *genuine* WM6.5.
Thing is I'm not a fan of small screens or of phones with tiddly keyboards like the BlackBerry phones have.

Thanks Bricky for the link, yes, seems that this is the newer model, and for the info that it'S not just a "look-a-like" WinMob!
(...the tiny Windows-Symbol in the lower left Corner of the Display just does seem to be unusual, or am I wrong?)

Haha, well, the shorteners are made for "untrusty" URLs, I never really use or click them in forums

My WinMo has the same layout so I wouldn't see it as unusual.

Android 3.0/Iconia A500 Market Workaround

Dunno if this is relevant for any other tabs, but on my Iconia, some apps show up, but when I go to their page it pops up with an error. I assume due to the device, either being Acer or 3.0. If instead of clicking Ok, you use the tabs software back button, it leaves you on the page and you can download and install the app. Tried it on 2 devices with Amazon Kindle and it worked. Maybe this will help someone else.

Ok, my bad.
With the issue of the market, it's already been addressed that for some devices right after you apply market fix it will take a few minutes to adjust itself during the first download. Some people don't have the patience and so they click on the back button and cancel the process. I suggest just try to download a free app from market and let it sit there for a while. Just let it do its thing.

No, I have a gtab as well as an Iconia, the iconia tab is in it's infancy. I also realize other members cross read differing forums.
Just sharing what I've found with the subforum I was most frequenting prior to getting an A500 :-D

I wouldn't mind getting an apk of that multimedia app/widget off your Iconia.

Looks like goodintentions got as far as the original post's title before print screening, jumping out to paint, and drawing up a corrective (not unnecessary and mean spirited) diagram.
This sounds like the issues I was having on an un-partitioned TNTLite. I found that the apps suffering from this issue could be installed via the android market web interface without any problems.
