Hi guys, I've just flashed this rom few days ago, and I noticed some problems: the most important is the video playing. I cannot play video on the video player and also on youtube, is there a fix for this problem? any suggestion?
I notice also that the front camera could take up to 10 second for shooting a photo, a somehow associated with this problem there is the wifi automatic turn off..
Your help would be very appreciated..at least with a Thanks
ps: I know this is not the right section where to write, but I'm a newbie and I cannot write in the development section.

But i was facing huge battery drain

Wish it could works, but what is it in particular? I've tried to send a private mess to the rom developer, but he does not reply..
wish I could find a solution because I like so much this rom.. I've also tried to re-flash everything starting from xxkpe, xxkp2, xxkpq, cf root and then flash the rom, but the same problem occurs...
Read the known issues/bugs of a ROM. Usually its the first post of every Rom thread. Most Rom for our devices still lacks proper video support.

I red it, no one mentions a video bug yet. I wish I can solve the problem, but I not really sure it could be solved..
I've tried to reflash all starting from stock rom, (tried both xxkpq and xxwlf2, and both cf root and bam kernels, nothing changed).
Wish for an answer by the dev..

Hey dman, I'm a little nervous given the warning on the bootloader download page which indicates you can do serious damage to your phone. I'm have no problem with iphone jailbreaks but just stepped over to the Android side recently and don't wanna do anything stupid.
I'm currently on the CM7 rom, do you happen to know if i'm ok as far as flashing over to your rom without changing the bootloader?
Should be able to...if you run into an issue let me know and well work it out

I searched the entire dev thread and didn't see anyone else reporting this so I think it may be my phone but I can't install anything from the market. So when I tried to get Titanium backup or SGS Kernal flasher or even just update existing apps they all download fine but cause a reboot when they are installing. Any ideas? I tried reflashing already.
Hmmm...idk I have downloaded many apps with no issue...may have to Odin...I posted in op if anyone having major issues I recommend Odin to stock because I have had zero issues...

The name is a loooooooooooong time used online name- maiden name was peacock (hence ladybird). I never changed it after all these years. And yes, for the record that makes me one of the VERY few women on the board!

I can confirm same problem coming from cathy. I did Odin back to stock then re flash same problem. Then flashed back to Cathy and tried to in stall apps and no problem?? everything else seems to be ok just wont install anything? Banging my head on the wall with this one..

Everything went smooth for me and love the rom a lot more than the previous one I was running. Only problem I have is I get a FC when trying to change the phone or notification tones. Looked through the developer thread and nobody else has mentioned it but that is a problem i'm encountering but no other issues.
Logs provider, is this the modded one or do I need to add it?

I had the same issue at first. But I re-wiped and re-flashed and it seemed to go away.

This worked- I couldn't edit the file suggested w/out root explorer, which of course I could not download w/out the market. Sort of stuck there in a corner- but I flashed entropy kernel and now I'm fine.
As usual, the ROM rocks socks.
how to add more app at your app drawer? thi is a very noobish question but I'm here reading and sick at the same time so I didn't find anything in the q&a thread nor the dev thread. and nothing that I write makes any sense. I bought my device a few months ago and it was working perfectly, then one day, all of a sudden the keyboard just started lagging, alot, I couldnt type a single word properly without it getting stuck. I tried updating to Custom ROMs and also to the latest Stock Rom (2.3.6 XWLF3) but after a few hours, the keyboard goes back to lagging. I have tried formatting, factory reset, through the phone and the recovery, but it is still giving me the same problem. Please help.
And btw, I have looked through a lot of forums and websites, but I havent really got a proper answer
flash UC kernel pal. the latest version.
or you can also wipe dalvik cache. and also the most common solution is always activate autorotate screen. many experienced before in stock roms when you deactivate autorotate screen, the keyboard lags.

I have a slight problem with S'perience rom. Everything seems fine except included flash player. I can't even use Adobe Flash Player settings app, it takes me to the webpage, but nothing loads. I tried checking flash player version on whatsmyflash.com, it doesn't recognize it. I did a full wipe before installing rom, am using the stock browser, enabled plugins... Version of the rom is the one that's currently the latest, and didn't change anything. Hm...that's all I can think of. Please help!
Flash player shouldn't work with the galaxy Ace, as it has an ARMv6 processor

Yeah, but there are some modded versions of Flash player for ARMv6. Plus, S'perience rom states that it includes flash player.
I have this problem too.Flash can be used on any other roms I've tried except this ROM.This ROM is definitely excellent but this problem is really annoying.Can anybody who can reply in the development section help us to tell our problem??

Yep,I've found the same problem...Plus the torch doesn't work correctly.None of the GooglePlay Torch apps work.The ROM's torch flashes for only 3-4 secs,then shuts down+camera cannot start

i'd tried this fix but it didn't work unfortunately and i got reboots on opening the camera again .
after flashing adams kernel 1.3.1 and on Wanam's Rom...so far no reboots ...still testing
i dont really know what this fix does as i have not downloaded. But what i have identified is, if you flash someother kernel from different FW then the problem persist. For example if you flash ME2 stock kernel on ME1 then the camera will be broken and if you flash the ME2 on ME2 then there wont be any problem with the camera

What has worked for me is limiting the background processes to 4 in the Developers Options. You have to know that every time you reboot the phone the limit for background processes goes back to default, so after every reboot (voluntary) you need to go and change it.
This is not my discovery, somebody suggested it in another thread.

You guys are seriously mistaken. Doc's camera fix merely copies the latest camera firmware rev to the firmware folder, which fixes the "camera failed" message when using an older custom kernel with a newer ROM. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the random crashing encountered when launching the camera, you WILL still get that until Samsung releases a proper fix for it.
Please either change the thread title or lock the thread, nothing worse than misinformation.

Hi all, here is MIUI offical port from the MIUI forum. i am not the creator just the informer!
TW based rom 4.2.2
The stock kernel works fine but you must flash a baseband to get WIFI working (via ODIN)
Updates working via OTA (weekly on a friday)

it will be slow as its from the chinese servers.
If you want gapps, download gapps for 4.2.2 from http://goo.im and flash it.
wipe date/factory and install zip in recovery im using philz recovery and have had no issues

This rom has been smoothed out alot over the last update and only small bugs are left to sort out.
Sms screen rotate doesnt work.
You have to flash a baseband to get wifi working
If theres any bug ive missed drop me a pm and i will add them
In my opion this is the closest to the real MIUI that we will get unless of course they support it.

I cant seem to install it. I wipe system and data and then proceed to install and it gets as far as the updating boot image and then auto reboots out of CWM and then it wont boot.
Any suggestions? I have downloaded the rom twice now just in case it was corrupt file but same issue both times.

Just installed... tnx to Bmarko for doing a great job with the porting version but... this version is finally the best one I tried so far... I had just a reboot while importing sms and the "problems" already mentioned in the first post... but it's fast, clean, beautiful... the camera is fastest than the stock one (I have to do some more tests anyway), there are also some features from the original firmware, the multiwindow, air gesture, etc....
I love it!!

HI i cant take any credit for the find it was thanks to dreamxp on the MIUI port rom thread that found it i simply made this thread to keep the comments seperate as it was getting confusing

and yes the base is TW so all TW features are here although ive not had chance to play with it fully yet.
the only problem i have found other than the sms problem is the ringtone volume sounds too loud even when you reduce the volume it seems to go loud again.
Anyway to install this on a AT&T S4? Install in recovery kicks me out because it's a i337.

i tryed to flash also KT-SGS4-JB4.2-TW-INTL-11.14.2013.zip and Abyss-GT-I9505-1.6.1FSam.zip but the rom dont boot, stay on "Starting Apps"
How to fix it?

If everyone can keep posting up their issues with this ROM. I can go through it and see what I can clean up. I can also post up the files to my mediafile account. I just switched back to the TW ROM from miui, but now I guess I will have to jump back and have the best of both worlds. Time for some modding.

Same issue here but by the looks of when you check for a rom update it says weekly so these bugs may be fixed soon?

Well yeah it seems to be a first release so we just have to wait a bit for the ROM to be stable
