yeah i have tried using directory bind to try but i didnt really know how to do it could you give me detailed way of doing it?
Its easy.
1.Add new entry.
2.configure:
In the source path add the link to the folder u have the data on the extSd. For eg: /sdcard/external_sd/gameloft/
In mount path add the folder directory in sdcard where the data shoupd actually be for eg: /sdcard/gameloft/
Then click on add button.
Then click on the floppy icon of the entry u added(it will turn green)

Guys, what is this lazylist folder on sd card? Can it be deleted?
Sent from my LG Optimus One P500 using Tapatalk
Its just cache of icons even if u delete it it will come back..
But I hate the way android impliments apps folder creation directly too the root of sdcard. I think there should b some hack so that apps folders (folders created by apps for cache and stuff) are in one sub folder.. like a symbolic link.
My sdcard is cluttered like hell with all the folders.

Thanks for the info, dude. And, you are really right about folders issue. Very nagging. Even more nagging is the fact, these folders do not go away even with uninstal of app. Have to delete them individually.

I deleted it everytime i turn on or rebooting my phone and nothing happens.

SOLUTION: remove appplanet. Shouldn't be using it anyway.

Having lots of folders will not have any impact on the read speed of the sd card but if you have a number of files one the root of the sd card then the read speed of the sd card will be greatly reduced.

(Just realized this thread is several years old)
I think its safe to say that any of the files/folders that wern't there prior to intallation of the app would be safe to delete. Often times after uninstalling an app some files and folders are still there. Usually they are files and folders that werent originally installed with the application such as saved preferences, data, settings, ect. Those files are safe to delete but I think the best rule of thumb is when in doubt, dont delete. You can usually use google to find out which files and folders are associated with which app and which files and folder are important or essential.
This game is not working on galaxy fit, textures problem is in there everything were white and black View attachment 1056513
Does anyone know any solution to solve my problem??

I'm not running CM10 but I can say that ROM is probably at least 150MB. Every nightly you download and don't delete is taking up space on one of your SD cards.
The updater app should tell you where it is downloading the files to.

Thanks so much for the reply. Its not giving me an option to install them to my external CD card and keeps defaulting It to my internal. Hmm

OP doesn't know where they are, tho I believe the CM10 updater allows you to pick and choose to delete files.
OP: I'm not positive but I believe there's a directory made on the internal sdcard called cmupdater or something to that effect. I haven't been on CM10 for almost a month.
Anyone know how to move app data to external SD? I have tried Directory Bind but it the apps can't find the data and just start to download to the internal SD again.
Thanks

If you mean games data try "gl2sd" from the play store .
Yeah I think xbsa included it in his ROM but it wasn't working for me. I will try it again.

Directory bind works well for me. You just have to make sure the binding is active. Served me well on gb, gonna miss it on my unrooted ics
Gl2sd was horrible. It worked the first time then never again. For directory bind make sure you have the paths in the right boxes and when the entry is on the list of bindings make sure you tap on the disc icon to make it green

One thing about gl2sd, make sure you start your game through it rather than the launcher icon

Just tried it with Samurai vs Zombies 2 and it moved the app data but failed to mount when I tried to open it.
Will try again with Directory Bind

Daft question but you ARE rooted arent you?
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
Yes mate. Everything runs as it should - Directory Bind creates a new folder on my SD card, says its deleting original files and the floppy disk symbol turns green. But the files aren't deleted from the original folder and when I delete them, the app doesn't work.
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
I never chose the auto option. I moced the files using es file explorer and then created the directory bind
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
I tried that too but I shall try again.
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
Oh, and i also left the original directories (tho empty) where they were
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
I'm thick as two short planks.
Got it working. I was confused because the data was in both the source directory and the target directory. I didn't stop to think that the file manager I was using was also tricked by the mapping. Easy way to check was to unbind them and sure enough, the data vanished from one directory.
For the record, I didn't need to leave a source folder. And it maps both ways, reading and writing. Great tool.
Thanks for your help and patience

Ok, i have modified my flies.apk using winrar and when i pasted in system/app it was not fine. There were two my files . It should have asked to overwrite...
Then i deleted the old one and copied the new one. Then i rebooted it
Nothing was there. My new modified my files was not there. It was in system/app but not shown in app drawer(it was not hidden). I restored my old one (Thanks to titanium backup) but now it is not shown in system/app.
Well i want to know is there a problem in modified apk?
I have also signed it
I have used this method
Opened my files with winrar
Changed things
Closed winrar
Signed it
Is this correct?

I didn't mean mounting /system R/W
I mean your modded apk file permission, use an app like Xplore or Root Explorer to give it 644 permission in order to see it in the app drawer.
Or just install it as user app and use Titanium Backup to convert it to system app.
But how do i do with titanium backup as its not installed
In titanium backup old my files is shown not new one
