Hello guys, ever since updating to stock ics on my rogers gs2 lte, I've been experiencing problems such as music playlists clearing itself or deleting itself at random. I thought it would be a problem with my ROM, so I rooted it and flashed cm9, but I am still experiencing this extremely annoying bug/problem.
can anyone please help me?

Thats why u backup all ur important files to a pc before formatting. If thats not an option u can move ur external sd card files to the internal then format the external and vice versa. Hope this helps

Hey guys. So I recently flashed a rom called ICS SKY and its running fine except for one thing. Every time I try to download an app from the play market it says it has failed or can't download and then DF-BPA-09 shows up and the end of that sentence. I would love some help. Thank you

Clear data for play. Did you change dpi?

Also you may have to clear data for google framework and restart your device.

If you don't know that then you haven't changed it.
Try deleting the market data and then rebooting. If that doesn't work then reflash the ROM without formatting /data

Why not just make poweramp look in the external_sd instead if mnt/external_sd

Go into power amp setting and change the folder. To where you put your music although I am a big CM fan that was one of the main reason why I don't use it that much. Anymore
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda premium
in my experience poweramp doesnt play too well with symlinks. try to use true paths if possible.
Should I be flashing every nightly? Not sure how it works. I can update it via my settings but idk where it saves to and how much space its taking up.
Thanks

I'm not running CM10 but I can say that ROM is probably at least 150MB. Every nightly you download and don't delete is taking up space on one of your SD cards.
The updater app should tell you where it is downloading the files to.

OP doesn't know where they are, tho I believe the CM10 updater allows you to pick and choose to delete files.
OP: I'm not positive but I believe there's a directory made on the internal sdcard called cmupdater or something to that effect. I haven't been on CM10 for almost a month.
I just recently purchased a 32gb class 10 micro sd card for my skyrocket, and it works perfectly fine.
The only issue i have is that the microsd card won't be read unless i use a file manager such as astro.. Apps like gallery or mxplayer won't read the microsd card.
This didn't happen with the 16gb class 4 micro sd card, so what is happening?
Anyway to fix this issue?
Thanks

Btw when i ran media scan it says sd card is "usb storage". Not "external sd".... Could this be the reason?

Mini Tools Partition Wizard is the program to use if you are on windows. Use it to format the card to fat32 primary. If that doesn't do it replace the card.

Is there anyway to make the paths so the phone can determine its correct location?
Could it be the difference in size of the card itself too?

When I reformat back with android, it works fine, other than the issue of not showing the files in apps, unless using a file manager.

Yes, i am rebooting.
Only issue is that to view images in apps like gallery or mxplayer, the folder has to be on the root of the sdcard. Before i had a group of folders in one, and now it won't let me do this.
Am i possibly naming folders wrong?

Ever since I uploaded from 4.0.3 ICS my phone has been getting "stuck"... The screen gets crazy if I touch it, the other buttons won't respond. The only way I seem to fix it for like 2 minutes is by locking it and unlocking it... When I bough it, it came with 4.0.3... Since then I moved from ROM to ROM...
4.0.3=>4.1.2
4.1.2=>4.2 Cyanogenmod
4.2=>4.1.2
4.1.2=>4.0.4
4.0.4=>4.3.1 BeanStalk
4.3.1 BeanStalk=>4.3 PAC
4.3 PAC=>4.3.1 BeanStalk
4.3.1 BeanStalk=>4.1.2
I left cyanogenmod because I didn't liked the look of my phone and because I wasn't able to play some of my favorite games.
I left BeanStalk because the camera.app kept crashing and forcing reboot.
I left PAC because the keyboard wouldn't show up and I wasn't able to finish the set up.
I left 4.0.4 because some apps were too new for it.
On 4.1.2 I get a lot of times stuck, but in other ROMs (even on Stock 4.0.4) the frequency of stucks were less...
I'm sorry for my awful english. I am from Argentina.
I'm really freaking out because each day my cellphone gets stuck even more!

I am on stock. I placed 4.1.2 without any name because I was trying to say "stock. Not a custom". But if it worked before perfect on 4.0.3. How is that possible? I mean my phone fell a couple of times but from by bed... I don't think it would harm it a lot since I have a carpet...

Oh sorry I didn't understood before. Maybe it's screwed but the thing is that in BeanStalk it didn't got stuck but I wasn't able to use the camera. Also it didn't got stuck in PAC but the keyboard wouldn't show up and display error messages all the time. I might go back to 4.0.4 since it works better than 4.1.2 (in my case).
