I would like to know if anyone knows of a good app that will help you schedule a daily routine . That includes an option to set alerts and to set those alerts at a specific time. And I would like it if it was in a nice user interface also but that is not mandatory if it is not available. Thank you in advance

How about planning on posting in the applications section......

I'm in college and I use/prefer Astrid because it includes the option to have a persistent notification for when an alarm goes off(it won't be cleared unless you actively select it and hit "snooze" or "complete." For me, this helps as a constant reminder for my important tasks. Once this goes off, this stays in your notification bar until you manually clear it. Any.do is another one that has an ever better interface but without the persistent notification option from when I last used it.
Thank you. This really helps

Would it be possible for someone to make a simple widget just to toggle the app wireless tether to start and stop? I know quite a few people who really want a simple way to just toggle it. And I know its just being lazy to not click in but I tether a good twenty times a day and its tedious.

Do a search for "tethering widget". I guess that is what you want.
Close but that turns on my hot spot which I don't use. I use the app wireless tether.

I don't know a lot about Tasker, but you might be able to accomplish this using that app. Give it a shot.
I can't get it to do anything beyond opening the app. Basically I'm trying to get something that will open the app and hit an on screen button. Then preferably go back to the home screen.

No other ideas?

Does the screen brightness short cut not work. Also it hangs sometimes when I use the network. Like market or file upload or Internet. It acts like its loading but a simple back and restart and it works. Thoughts? Where do I post issues with it. Also my defaults refresh sometimes.

Also is there a short cut way to quit a app not just minimize. With out task manager and force close. Like a quit button.

calm down and go to the ROM thread to get your questions answered

sounds like you could also benefit from learning basic ANDROID usage, not necessarily directly related to the skyrocket....
Hard to use the phone to get info. I'm learning. Trying to. Also I don't use drugs. Not nice say that. Thanks for the info though. Not the pipe comment. Lol. I will read up best I can on the phone. Will have a computer Monday then be easy

Lol. More the issue is taking one problem at a time.
And when asking for help, making your request easy to understand.
Otherwise it can seem......overwhelming
So pick one issue, do a google search, and if you still don't understand, come back here with what you found and we'll help you as much as we can.

Google currents and music individual usage adds up to more than what is shown as total usage? I'm confused.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
the data usage shown in settings isn't accurate - for me at least so just download a third party app such as onavo or something
For me they add up. On multiple devices. Perhaps you've played around with custom roms, resetting the counter? Just a suggestion...

Still haven't found any answer to this? Adds up fine on the pantech discover, but not razr maxx...
I'm really stumped on this one too, and I'd appreciate any helpful suggestions.
Just thought I'd let you folks know about Contacts+ , the contacts app I'm using on my stock now.
It is totally packed with features (chiefly, integration with social networks, WhatsApp integration and smart ordering), looks absolutely lovely, and just elevates the Android experience when using a smartphone.
As an added bonus, it pimps out your SMS and call log appearance and functionality as well.

I've tried it before. It works good with finding contact information in notes but I haven't used the apk in forever.
I hate to be a troll but you posted in the wrong section. Lol.

Does anyone know what shift worker app is the best on the android market? I rely on these apps to plan my months and the one I used to use on my iPhone doesn't appear to be available. Any help would be really appreciated!!

I just bit the bullet and entered all my shifts into Google Calendar. My shift pattern repeats after 10 weeks, so although it took me a little while to get those first ten entered, the "repeat every xx...." function in Calendar means I never have to mess around with it again.
Also, having it in my calendar means that Google Now can give me reminders when to leave for work early if, for instance, the traffic is bad that day.
Plus, if I ever move away from Android (unlikely) then my Calendar can come with me, no issues - rather than facing the same problem which you have now.
To actually display my calendar I like Calendar Pad's widget. Also I have Calendar Status Pro in my notification shade, which is handy because I have a constant reminder of calendar appointments every time I pull down the shade.
I'm always interested in trying out new solutions if they can provide better functionality though, so I'd be interested to hear what other people use too
That's an idea I had already contemplated but my shifts change every 5 weeks. I used an app on the iPhone called 'Shift worker' made by a company called production shed. I've emailed them to see if they have the same app available for android but I highly doubt it! Shame a dev couldn't come up with something that we could really make great use of! All the apps I've saw just look mega complicated. Might need to resort to Google calendar though and integrate it with Google now.

Arbeitskalender is also a good app. You can find it in PlayStore. I am sorry, I don't have the link right now.
