[Q] third party camera apps not working? ARHD 4

Hi im currently running ics! and all the third party camera apps seem to not work? the images and stuff are very dark? is this cos they arent compatible with ICS?
can anyone please help?

Hi all, I've wondered if you guys use some more "professional" camera apps.
I really liked Sense camera with a lot of options like manual macro, manual iso, etc.
Right now I'm on CM9 and don't really enjoy stock app... I've got the feeling that it has too little options and takes pictures of worse quality.
Do you have any suggestions which app would do better?

The Sense camera app relies on the Sense framework, so installing that one isn't an option. You could give Camera FX a shot.

Thanks for help, I've been using FXCamera for some time, but suddenly on Market I've found CameraPRO and I think I'll go with this one. Anyone tried it??

[Q] Camera upside down in third party camera app

Hi. I am currently using Miui rom for Xperia J. I have a problem which I have seen on any other custom rom such as Touchwiz rom or CM10 rom. I have google the problem but I can't find any solution. I don't know if it a bugs for Cm based or what. When i install third party camera apps such as Camera360 or Cymera, my front camera will be upside down. But the camera that in the system can be used normally. I also have tried to fix the rotation of the camera360 but still facing that problem. Hope someone helps. Thanks in advance.
Edit: After trying a few camera app in google playstore finally i know only a few camera apps will be upside-down for the front camera. And so far i have to change my favorite camera apps because front camera of camera360 also will be upside down. I have seen this problem in other cm based rom too.

None of the Xperia J user have this problem? If so, I'm afraid it is my phone problem then.

I think the app has the problem. I never use camera360 though. I use retrica. It works fine.

Thank you for your reply. But I'm afraid that all my third party camera apps are like that. The camera system is the only one that work. Other camera apps will be 180' when using front camera. Actually I'm having this problem when I use custom rom non then the Sony based. When I'm using Alienrom or Doomsday, I never have this problem.

[Completed] My Phone has a 13megapixel but default camera can only run 8megapixel

Hello and good day everyone, these past few days my default camera app can capture up to 13megapixel and today, i just found out that it's stock in 8megapixel. But apparently Droid Info detected my phone having a 13 megapixrl camera resolution, i also download a camera app called camera 360 and it can also capture up to 13megapixel. I also tried to clear data and restore my camera app to default but nothing happens. Is there any way to fix this problem? I just want to use my default camera app, it suits me perfectly. Thankyou very much

Question Alternative camera app?

I'm still on stock ROM, rooted. The default camera app is missing some features I used regularly on my old phone.
Are there any recommended alternatives? I have Open Camera installed and it seems to work fine and has more features. Any better apps?
Also, can anyone tell me how to change the default camera app for things like the lock screen camera launcher? I can't find a default setting for it.
