People can't hear me for 2 or 3 seconds after I answer phone on my vodafone smart 2.......what a nightmare...is there a solution to this problem?

Anyone else with this phone experiencing this? I tried the patch on Google play market but doesn't work and the patch was made well over a year ago! has no other attempt to rectify this problem been made since, only I've googled info on it and plenty of people have the same problem but it seems there is just the one patch that appears to be rather hit or miss.

I bought my Sensation XE (Z715e) yesterday and now when my dad called me, I heard his voice for like 5 seconds then gone, i tried switching to headphones/speaker but nothing worked, neither i was hearing his voice nor he was mine..
Tried it many times..
Rest everything is perfect !
I haven't done anything with the phone yet, Just updated with an update OTA .. Software no. is 1.77.720.103.
Anyone know what it can be? A sim card problem? Rom problem? Or hardware

Edit : I tried putting another Sim cards, Tried 2 and network is not coming in both of them
PLUS don't tell me i'm screwed xD
Edit 2 : I inserted the old (BSNL) sim again and called voice was coming till 51 seconds .. :/
I think it can be network problem.

Hey Guys, I have read all the post here, and have done numerous searches here as well as google, and cant find a single topic on the problem I'm having, and I know other people have to be having the same problem, or maybe they do, and don't realize it, lol.. anyway when I am on the phone talking to someone and someone else calls, the person I am talking to hears my beep, some ask who's trying to call you? while others say hold on they are getting a call, but it is my beep they are hearing, so I have tried almost every app in the market, and patiently waited for the 2.3.4 update, and no fix, I called tmobile and they said it was a known issue and LG is working on a patch, but didn't know when one would be available, I called LG they said it was a known problem but had no plans of fixing it.... Does anyone here know how to fix this ? or have a work around ?
besides disabling call forwarding all together ????? This is like an invasion of privacy

Na, stock g2x, stock rom 2.3.4 android, no accessories, if you have one try an experiment with someone, it does the same on mine, my fathers, and my girls.....

It's been a while since i visited these boards. Sadly I'm faced with a problem that may make me go back to some stock 2.3.3 ROM.
I've got the CM10 on my P500, used it for months, was quite happy with it (tho didn't really play around much with it).
Well, untill around 2 weeks ago when my phone stopped playing ringtones, making me miss calls when i was sitting right next to it. Quite annoying, tried changing all known setting that could cause this. It did vibrate on vibrate-only mode, except for that no results.
Finally today I got fed up with things, restored default settings and behold, now the phone doesn't even display incoming calls. Though they do show up later in missed calls. All of this is crazy :silly:
So, my questions are. Did anybody else get this problem? Any new version of the ROM or patch to fix this? Should I just find myself some old sure-proof ROM, cause I don't even play around with all the new 4.1.2 toys?
Anyways, I'm awaiting your replies. Thanks a bunch in advance.

Hi! Until yesterday i was using Bytecode's ParanoidDroid 3.15 (nice JB 4.2 rom, thanks Bytecode!!!). Couple of days ago i had a ringtone problem also: the phone begin to ring, but only for a second, and then stopped (i keep my ringtones on my sdcard). I don't know the solution because i switched roms - for that bug and speaker bug - searching for a stable one. Now i'm testing 4.0.4 ICSPlus, and hope to be the "right" one.

Hi there. Actually i have this problem too. I flashed Rashed's cm10 about two days ago and when somebody calls me it doesn't ring. I thought that the problem was my phone, but now if there are more people with that problem I don't know what to think anymore..
Calls drop often. Usually within the first minute, and then every time when Im calling back after 10sec. The phone itself does not lose signal. Strange thing is, if I'm getting phone call after first/second drop, phone continues connection without problems... But Only when Im receiving a phone call not when Im trying to re-call someone.
- I tried replacing my sim and the issue persists. No problems with other phones using this Sim (even in the same locations).
These are pretty annoying issues. Anybody else experiencing them? Is there a different radio I can try for the phone? Is there any log I can access showing a reason for the call drop, or any trouble shooting I can do? This seems to be independent of WCDMA Only/Preferred/GSM/WCDMA (Auto) settings. Or if, how to change these settings?
Note: This has nothing to do with the network. I've been with the same company (Orange Europe) for about 2.5 years, and have never had this happen before. This has been consistent since I got my OnePlus (about 1 week ago)
That's true. I'm experiencing this as well for quite some time now. At first I joked and said: Hey, the NSA joined our conversation.....again. But after some time it really annoys me. This has nothing to do with the ROM or kernel as I have tried out various combinations. What I found out is that it got better after I returned to stock CM 11s with stock kernel. But it's not gone completly.
Honestly I neither know how to fix it nor what is causing the problem. Try to reflash the CM11S 25R firmware and see if it gets better. I think something is wrong with the modem software since CM11S 22R,25R and CM11 builds are using the same modem software. Maybe the announced update for the end of this month or early next month will fix this. I really hope so because a phone which is not able to hold a call, can't be considered as a real phone.
Oh im pitty You, If You'll get something just please let me know. Any advices or help will be appreciated. Maybe waiting for new CM relase will solve the problem, I do rly like this OS even with so many bugs... there is always an option. Move to stock 4.4 published by OP on official website.

Hey guys and gals, I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have had a Samsung S4 for a about a year and a month ago all of a sudden, when I place a call, it acts like it going to connect but I never hear the ringback tones and when the receiving party answers they can't hear me and I can't hear them answer. It's as if I never successfully placed a call on my end, it jeeps continues to say "dialing". On the other end, the receiving party hears their phone ring but when they answer there is nothing there. I called tech support at Verizon and they thought it was a bad SIM card, so they sent me into the store for a SIM swap. That didn't work, so the tech at the counter ordered a replacement S4 for me. Now I'm sorry to say that it doesn't seem like a phone issue at all, rather an app or something that is causing the problem because I've had my new phone for 2 weeks now, and it just started happening again. I haven't installed any apps today that were on my phone prior to it happening the first time.
So A. has anyone seem this happening before and if so how'd ya fix it? And B. If not, is there a way I can find out what processes on the phone have happened in a time listed format that I might be able to narrow it down to a particular app possibly? I really don;t want to have to go through another hard reset of I don;t have to.
