Won't work that way, that's why you can't find any, you can only print over a network to selected Samsung printers natively, unless you get an app like "Print Share" which will print to other makes and models, but again, all of them are a wireless solution.

You can Print with "PrinterShare" via USB. You must buy a USB-OTG Adapter. I tested it with a hp laserjet 2100, a samsung mhl 4600 and an epson multifunction printer.

Also, you can use google cloud print

Not true. I can print to my hp network printer using print bot app. It has loads of printers listed in app. Needs to be a network printer or attached to a server.

Have you tried PrinterShare? You can test it with the Free Version, but you must buy the Full Version to print normal documents.

Please have a look at the video. Printing with the galaxy note works in the same way, like every other OTG capable android phone.
The only thing you need is the OTG Adapter. Then you can print directly via the USB Cable.

Hp 1006 can connect with printer share but can not be connected with Hp 1008

Does this phone have DLNA?

Does the G2x support DLNA? If so, how do you access it?

media share and there is a place in the settings to turn on the sharing.
Does DLNA do the same as HDMI Out? For example, if I wanted to mirror my phone on tv could I do that?

No it's not quite as good as HDMI mirroring dlna is limited to the way it outputs. Your better using hdmi mirroring. You can't not mirror it like HDMI dlna is more like streaming from one device to another

with hdmi nmirroring you can mirror your games or streaming video to the tv. dlna is limited to files on your phone.
Ah, alright guys. Do you have any recommendations for HDMI cables? I need something around 3 feet long.

U have to connect ur phone and tv to the same network, with a wireless N router, I have a G router and it's too slow. Then when playing a video (not youtube, a video file from ur memory card) then click menu our long press the video, u'll see an option play with, and u'll see the name of ur tv and select it

Any plug and play mouse should do just fine, assuming you have a usb otg cable to connect it to
Any bluetooth mouse should work just fine. I use a razer orochi with my n8000 that previously was used on my laptop.
Use 2 of these, one for Note one for laptop. It was a pain re-pairing each time to swap between the two

Hi thanks for the help. by any traditional bluetooth mouse does it mean I need to have the Samsung usb port adapter cable and plug in the blue tooth receiver for the mouse? Or is there any mouse which can connect directly without usb receiver, like a wireless keyboard can?

Priniting

I plugged my note in via USB to a printer, but it wont print unless its a Samsung one which seems rather stupid. Is there any way around this? Thanks
Sent from my GT-N8010 using xda premium
It is probably limited by what drivers are available on the Note. You would be better off trying to set up cloud-based printing than looking for a way round the driver issues.
Use google print
Sent from my GT-N8010 using xda app-developers app
Is there anyway to install the drivers? And its not wireless so I don't think it will work with Google
Sent from my GT-N8010 using xda premium
I am not aware of any printer vendor releasing Android drivers unless they have an app in the Play Store. Android is not really an OS intended for printing via a direct connection. I use Google print by attaching a printer to my networked PC.

Hdmi android mini computer

Can anybody recommend a good HDMI mini android computer dongle? I want to use it on my TV so that I can use Chrome to access my network security cameras in my house.
