My friend has a 10 month olds Live With Walkman (WT19i), he put an anti glare screen protector from the first day he bought it, about two weeks ago after removing the screen protector, he realised that there are very thin vertical and horizontal lines beneath the digitizer (the vertical and horizontal lines resemble net like pattern), it's barely visible, and only visible if the screen is off and when viewing it under bright light, it's not visible at all on normal use.
Everything works normal.
Is it normal to have those barely visible lines?
Yes

Hallo, 3 different transormer tried and all have screen under the screen and shining 7/8 white pixels on black background, with a kind of scratches on the lcd panel emitting white light on the black, and the black is not solid like other colours but it has vertical stripes on the screen with different graduation of black. Obviously in all 3 pieces was present a strong light bleeding. The best way to check it is with a free program from the market called lcd test or maybe pixel test, put black screen on it in a dark room. Dust is well visible also with screen off, they are small withe pieces.
Any similar experiences?
I returned my first Transformer for a dust particle under the glass but in front of the screen - bang in the middle on the display so very distracting. I initially thought it was dead pixels but at an angle you could see the reality quite easily.
Luckily was able to exchange it the next day (gogo Mikro Anvika customer service) as they'd just got another batch come in the door - second one is flawless. Not other display problems other than the slight light bleed at a couple of points on screen edges on a black backgrounds - no big deal.
I have a strange problem. About week ago i bought my xperia M2, then i albo bought screen foil protector. Yesterday i saw that on my screen is small sami transparent grey point. I can see it only when i watch screen form About 30 cm, when i turn phone a little - about 10 degree i can't see it. Generally it is very hard to see it. Is it cause by screen protector, or it's a hardware problem?
PS. I can't take a picture of this, on picture it is invisible.
I have a similar problem, I think. I don't have any screen protector but recently I noticed something similiar close to the upper right edge of the screen. It's particularly visible when the white or orange themes are set.
Hi guys,
I have replaced the screen in my nexus 5 twice now. I purchased the screens from Amazon. The first screen on white backgrounds I would kind of see a square image on the screen in white. It kind of looked like the outline of the battery. It also had a few white spots on the screen. I tried loosening some of the screws but it didn't help. I contacted the seller and he recommended another replacement. He sent out another screen plus digitizer and frame.
The new screen arrived and I put it in. This screen is a lit better. I know only get 3 tiny white spots about the size of the screws in the nexus 5. Two look like they are where the battery would be inside the phone. The third is about 3 quarters of the way up the screen in the middle and slightly to the left. Why does this keep happening? Anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this?
One thing I have noticed is in the dark with the screen on around the sides of the phone in places I can see slivers of light shining around the screen. It seams that the tape that the screen provider used was not sticky enough. Could this be what is causing the white spots? The screen seams firmly attached at the top and bottom just the sides. I heated it up with a blow dryer and held the screen down till it cooled. It slowly goes back to the way it was.
Thanks,
Rocky
Light bleeding from the edges of the frame in a dark environment is not uncommon with 3rd party screens. Putting on a case can help a lot.
As for the white spots, it may be a manufacturing defect that has nothing to do with the way you assembled the phone.
So there is nothing that can be done about the white spots? I don't understand how both screens did this. Seams like there is a very high failure rate. From comparison and matching numbers s to the stock digitizer the replacement seams to be a stock digitizer and frame. The white spots are annoying.
It's possible that both screens came from the same production run. I used screens from aliexpress and only one had a bit of light bleed around the frame. Once I put on a case, you could not see the light bleed.
None of the replacement screens had any dead or stuck pixels or hot spots.
I am getting white spots in grid after installing the screen guard on op3. is it normal or my screen broke!!!
It's in every phone visible in highly lit environment, moreover its happens to be visible only at a certain angle
Dust underneath the screen protector has caused this.
You got replaced original panel with duplicate one so it's common on black market panels.
The first time I dropped my Mi Mix I had replaced the screen from vopmart; however, I wasn't happy with the quality of it. I received a screen with frame and it had bad light deformities (light bleed on edges, inconsistent lighting on the screen itself, scratch on middle of screen) and the frame glued to the screen was uneven.
Well... I dropped my phone again and I get to put another screen on it. This time, I bought the screen from eBay with a coupon. The screen ended up costing me around $30 USD. Not bad! The screen came in and I tested it and it's perfect (no dead pixels, no deformities, consistent lighting). Only problem is the frame is not attached to the display. I have spare frames that I can glue to my new lcd; however, not sure which glue is best to use. E6000, B7000, or T7000? I was thinking of using T7000 since it's black and would help prevent light bleeding. I'm open to suggestions.
What glue do you guys recommend?
