[Q] Dust under the screen and lighten pixel on black - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hallo, 3 different transormer tried and all have screen under the screen and shining 7/8 white pixels on black background, with a kind of scratches on the lcd panel emitting white light on the black, and the black is not solid like other colours but it has vertical stripes on the screen with different graduation of black. Obviously in all 3 pieces was present a strong light bleeding. The best way to check it is with a free program from the market called lcd test or maybe pixel test, put black screen on it in a dark room. Dust is well visible also with screen off, they are small withe pieces.
Any similar experiences?

I returned my first Transformer for a dust particle under the glass but in front of the screen - bang in the middle on the display so very distracting. I initially thought it was dead pixels but at an angle you could see the reality quite easily.
Luckily was able to exchange it the next day (gogo Mikro Anvika customer service) as they'd just got another batch come in the door - second one is flawless. Not other display problems other than the slight light bleed at a couple of points on screen edges on a black backgrounds - no big deal.

Blue signs when the screen displays black color

Yesterday I saw something different in screen...when the screen display the black colour or a colour that it is have black, in screen shows three little blue signs like fingerprints.. this happens only with black color.. At first I was thinking that is the screen protector but I was wrong. The attached picture is not so good because it is from webcam.
It's problem with your display, give it guarantees.
I am in touch with to2c...I am waiting the solution...check the photos

This happened to me, too. The blue thingy came out of nowhere. It seems it's not a "little problem".
blue sings when the screen displays black color
Am facing a display problem just as u said in the same position but mine looks like three alphabets in blue light
It's not a hardware failure. They are called pressure marks and probably your screen got pressured too much at some point. I have it also.

[Q] Can I fix light bleed?

I dropped my phone last night and now my phone has some light bleed in one of the corners.
Is there anything one can do to reduce the light bleed, short of replacing the entire display?
I also have light bleed on one of my corners due to a drop, the only option is to reseal the backlight and screen so it doesn't bleed out the side
The phone is ridged so bending it or tapping the other size won't help.similar to what you can do on a tablet

[Q] Purple tint bottom of screen

I wanted to get some opinions on the color balance across the screen on peoples phones.
I am noticing the bottom of my screen towards the buttons is slightly purple (about 1/5 of it). I wanted to find out if others had the problem or something similar like inconsistent color temperature across the screen. I am using basic mode.

I have had the s6 replaced three times and each one has the pink screen hue at one end of the screen.
I urge every s6 owner to load up a white wallpaper or background and see if your screen accurately produces white evenly on the display. I bet you it won't. And once you see it, you can't unseen it.

Little round white spots on screen 2 replacements.

Hi guys,
I have replaced the screen in my nexus 5 twice now. I purchased the screens from Amazon. The first screen on white backgrounds I would kind of see a square image on the screen in white. It kind of looked like the outline of the battery. It also had a few white spots on the screen. I tried loosening some of the screws but it didn't help. I contacted the seller and he recommended another replacement. He sent out another screen plus digitizer and frame.
The new screen arrived and I put it in. This screen is a lit better. I know only get 3 tiny white spots about the size of the screws in the nexus 5. Two look like they are where the battery would be inside the phone. The third is about 3 quarters of the way up the screen in the middle and slightly to the left. Why does this keep happening? Anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this?
One thing I have noticed is in the dark with the screen on around the sides of the phone in places I can see slivers of light shining around the screen. It seams that the tape that the screen provider used was not sticky enough. Could this be what is causing the white spots? The screen seams firmly attached at the top and bottom just the sides. I heated it up with a blow dryer and held the screen down till it cooled. It slowly goes back to the way it was.
Thanks,
Rocky
Light bleeding from the edges of the frame in a dark environment is not uncommon with 3rd party screens. Putting on a case can help a lot.
As for the white spots, it may be a manufacturing defect that has nothing to do with the way you assembled the phone.
So there is nothing that can be done about the white spots? I don't understand how both screens did this. Seams like there is a very high failure rate. From comparison and matching numbers s to the stock digitizer the replacement seams to be a stock digitizer and frame. The white spots are annoying.
It's possible that both screens came from the same production run. I used screens from aliexpress and only one had a bit of light bleed around the frame. Once I put on a case, you could not see the light bleed.
None of the replacement screens had any dead or stuck pixels or hot spots.

white spots after installing the screenguard

I am getting white spots in grid after installing the screen guard on op3. is it normal or my screen broke!!!
It's in every phone visible in highly lit environment, moreover its happens to be visible only at a certain angle
Dust underneath the screen protector has caused this.
You got replaced original panel with duplicate one so it's common on black market panels.
