This guide is just what works for me. I do not under any circumstances say it will work for you 100%. I hope it does however. I wish you the best in your endeavors with your devices and your phones and I am not responisble if you brick your phone. Always Always Always MD5 the roms and radios before flashing. Also make sure you do a nandroid backup. I would hate for you to lose your data.
My Process for going to ICS on the thunderbolt.
Go into recovery
Wipe Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache, and Battery Stats
Mount the USB from CWM.
Copy the .19 radios to the Root of your sdcard PG05IMG.zip
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1864157
Copy the .9 radios to the Root of your sdcard as PG05IMG.zip.9
Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1396408
Copy the Liquid MR3V1 to the Rood of your SDCard
Go back to install zip from sd card
Install the Liquid MR3V1 ROM
Once finished installing reboot the system and as soon as you see the black screen pull the battery and put it back in.
Pushing the Powerbutton and volume down go into the bootloader and flash the .19 radio I flash this first as I noticed it the initial setup will crash on me or not activate if i started with the .9 radios.
Reboot the device. Let it go all the way through the process (I let it sit for about 5 minutes) Once it has sat for a few minutes. Log into your gmail account and everything. Wait another few minutes so eveything can situate itself.
Move the radio to PG05IMG.zip to PG05IMG.zip.19
Move the other radio zip PG05IMG.zip.9 to PG05IMG.zip
I flashed the .9 radios because i noticed better signal, stability, and battery life..
Reboot to the bootloader and let it flash the radios to the .9.
Now once its booted I did the following customizations.
Went to Settings->Interface->Status Bar-> Signal and check the box for sixbar signal.
The in the status Bar settings I changed the following.
Clock to show smal am/pm
Clock to show small current weekday.
Battery Style to Icon/Text
PowerMenu to show Powersaver
Then go to settings-> Advanced
PowerSave and Changed screen off action to LTE off (Don't know if this actually works cause as soon as i turn the screen back up its still on..) If it ever starts working will help save battery life.
Then go Settings -> Display
Change Font Size to Small
Set the Sleep to 15 Seconds (Helps Saves Battery)
Uncheck Battery Light options and recheck them to get gui to say enabled.
Then go Settings -> Lockscreen
Turn on Display Weather
Turn on Calendar and change the following
Add your calendars
Change look ahead to 1 week
Change Volume Controls to skip music
Go to Nova Settings then Desktop and change the grid to 5 x 5
then go to Drawer and change grid to 5 x 5
in the Drawer turn transperancy to 100%
At home Resize the desktop google search to take up 5x1
Add the Fancy widget 4x1 to the desktop and resize it to 5x1

Why did you flash the combo radio first if you're going to flash and stick with the .9 radio?

for first thing, my rom is leon 4.3
I have done different settings to adjust the battery life and they allowed me to take the phone from morning 100% and at tonight (at 1.30) to 77%, which I am very satisfied.
My settings:
_ I left as the default power saving tweaks HTC
_ the Radio is 2.12.50.02_2
_ I removed the check of "mode switch to 3G" in the settings (very very important for people that does not use of 3G connections but only the usb connections with active sinc)
_ I removed the lock screen, so when I block it looks like this:

this allow to consume low memory and battery and I must only enter unlock buttom. (it's possible to do it installing the default lockscreen .cab and another edited (for example dinik lockscreen) and after that disinstalling them.
_then I put "decrease volume when arrive a calling"
_then I put automatic dimming backlight and reduction after 30 seconds, locking after 5 minutes.
Write me if you note any differents for the battery life.
Use my settings at your risk, although there aren't.

Looks good. 2 questions. Is there a way to get the date to have a transparent background? And I want to confirm if this would work with Runic 1.0. Thank you keep up the good work.
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
The date background is transparent, if you look close you can still see the icons from the USB connection in my second picture. But since there is a second layer, that portion becomes darker. It just happens to be the way Androids Status bar was developed so there would be no way, at least that I am aware of, that we can fix this.
hey do you have to change anything on services.jar to do transparent bar? or can i just change the color via photoshop like 2.1? do a framework pull etc?
installed it works on the lockscreen menu but once you slide it to unlock it the bar becomes non transparent again but on the lock screen it is.

Services.jar changes the clock and date from black to white.
If you are using launcher pro... it does not stretch the wallpaper pass the status bar... leaving a black (empty) space there. LiveWallpapers do work though.
You can use ADW.. they have a "Wallpaper Hack" that stretches the wallpaper and you will be able to see it.... Motoblur also stretches wallpapers too...
Basically every launcher except LP
That makes sense. No wonder I couldn't figure it out. Thx alot

Shame LP doesn't stretch the wallpaper to fit. Beautiful theme BTW.

I think that everyone here or that has ever flashed a CM rom will agree that one thing they hated above all is the persistent Ghost voicemail icon that can only be removed by either clearing data in the phone app (and after every reboot), or the fix in which you can call Sprint to activate a dumb phone, leaving yourself a message and then clearing the voicemails, then reactivating your smartphone.
As you guys know, i search every devices sections, testing and trying out different mod's/apk's/zip's in hope that it would benefit us all, today i'd like to bring to you......a modified Phone.apk which will get rid of the notification altogether, both the Icon and Notification in the pulldown menu.
*For those of us who have the Sprint VVM installed, it wont mess up the notifications for them.
Screenshot
1. The modified Phone info

2. Showing that Sprint VVM notifications still show up after the Modified phone.apk is applied.
3. Took a screenshot right after a Reboot to show no notification at boot.
(Obviously i guess i cant prove this was right after a reboot but take my word for it, feel free to flame if you think otherwise)
Make a Nandroid Backup just in case, I'm not responsible if something messes up your phone.
TESTED AND WORKING ON Jokers CM9 3.3
EDIT: Not working on MIUI
Instructions
1. Go to 'manage apps' / Navigate to 'Phone' and press "Clear data'
2. Download modified Phone.apk
3. Using Root Explorer with 'R/W' set (or similar app), go to your 'system/app' folder and backup the phone.apk or rename with '.bak' extention.
4. Move downloaded Phone.apk from the download location to your 'system/app' folder.
5. Make sure to change the permissions to match the other apps in the folder.
6. Close Root Explorer and reboot into Recovery
7. Go to 'Advanced' and press on 'Fix Permissions' and then reboot phone.
8. Enjoy not having that $%$*&# notification anymore
Big thanks to
JusticeAA for the Mod
tbob18 for making it into an .APK

So i could not find an app that would do exactly what this one does...
Turn on the flashlight LED immediately upon execution of the app... Instead, every app on the market has the user open it up, then press a button to toggle the flashlight.
My app will IMMEDIATELY turn on your flash light LED then shut off the screen.
Its main purpose is to have as a lockscreen shortcut.
Install instructions:
1. Download APK
2. Place apk onto your SD card
3. Using ANY file explorer app
4. Locate downloaded apk and tap on it to initialize the install process.
5. Install and run the app once to set it up.
Permissions:
Hardware Controls [Allow app to access camera LED]
Also need to enable device administrator to allow device lock
Dont forget to hit thanks it really makes me feel good about myself knowing people are benefiting from this other than myself
Check my Signature for other work/projects by me
THANKS XDA FOR PROVIDING US WITH SUCH A GREAT WEBSITE AND RESOURCE!!
UPDATE 12/10/12 10:36 EST
-Fixed force close issue due to me being retarded....
I've searched a lot for an app like this, the past days and I've also developed one myself, which just today I've managed to finish it(have some problems though).
I will try your app, maybe is better than mine(I'm new in programming).
EDIT:
Just tried, flashlight turns itself off about 10-20 seconds after screen is off(sometimes less), at least on my device.
I'd have this problem with my app too. Do you run it as service?
This is a very useful app my friend. It's so annoying on aosp rom's hitting the power button, pulling down the notification bar, engaging the torch, and cycling all over again. This saves steps and works quite well so far.
I'll report back as I use it more over the next few days.
Using it on a sgs3 running Eclipse rom.
Just so you people know, theres actually a widget you can place on your homescreen, just long press on the screen, go to widgets...then look for Assistive Light....put in on one of your homescreens...press it, walla...LED light on back of phone lights up!!! No need to download any apk.

That's not what this is for. This is instant lockscreen on/off. This is a smart app. Obviously there are home screen options other than this.....

thanks for the useful app!
When I go to turn on an alarm the flash message that pops up is wrong. If the alarm is under 1 hour is says alarm set for 1 minute, anything at 1 hour or more says 1 hour and 1 minute. The alarm actually goes off at the correct time though. Swiping over to the snooze option when the alarm goes off causes the alarm to force close. When in settings in the alarm I am unable to go to the setting that says "minutes" without a force close. Everything else works in the settings menu.
I have checked to make sure I didn't have any system apps greenified or frozen and done several reboots after adjusting time zones and playing around with manual and auto time/timezones settings.
I cleared the clock app's cache and app data which did something (see image below) but I can't make any sense of it. Seems to me that some coding has been altered in some way but I don't recall messing with anything involving system time or alarms. I'm also not quite sure when this started as last night was the first time I have set my alarm since I have had the phone for about 4 months.
Setting more than an hour.

Less than the hour.
If set for one minute after current time snooze notification pops up.
After clearing clock cache and data.

My apologies, that last pic is not after the clock app cache and data clear. Here is that picture.
I'm not sure what that text is supposed to actually say but I'm pretty sure it's not that.
Here is the settings menu. I can't access the one that says "minutes" under it without a force close.
I have played with the other settings but nothing has fixed this issue.
I'm going to try installing am aftermarket alarm and see what happens.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
Aftermarket alarm works fine, flash messages are correct and snooze works. I haven't seen where this bug is affecting anything else on the phone.
Anyone have any idea what else this might be affecting?

Fix:
Uninstall Google Clock app, reinstall.
Would have done this earlier but was afraid it would screw something up. It didn't, all is good.
