I bought a HTC One X about a week ago and love it. The GPS worked great, getting a lock within seconds and seeing 21 satellites. It started rebooting randomly so I switched it out today at Bestbuy. My new phone still gets a quick lock but I only see 10-13 satellites. Any reason as to why there would be such a difference between the same phones in the same area.
The satellites are orbiting the earth, so the amount varies by the time of day to the location your in
it only takes 4 to get a accurate location.

What are your thoughts it is worth the upgrade?

Of you already have the Sensation, then I don't think it's worth it. However, if you are deciding between the who, then definitely Ruby

16 GB of internal memory is really nice though... Useful for when you SD card slot isn't working correctly and you can't save files on internal

Nope.
Wait for like 10 months for quad core/720p screen phones to come out.
If your getting a new device id say go for the ruby but if you already have the sensation i see no point, they function the same way due to sense, the upgraded hardware is nice but not worth it to switch over in my opinion.

Played with that but not really liking the touchwiz too much. I took the plunge and sold the phone...so now anxiously waiting for the Ruby.
Anyone know if they are cross compatible?

I know they moved the dock connector and I think I heard it was a bit taller, but I'm not sure about the actual screen. Hopefully someone on the forums has both and give you a definitive answer.
The one x and the one xl are different devices. Look for parts for the xl.
I can't seem to find one that is compatible with the at&t one x for a LCD and digitizer

One XL parts work..
International (Tegra3) LCD is different size by millimeter, resulting in a weird gap by the capacitive buttons, base on what others here have posted.
My brother just got a replacement off of ebay the other day, he just got the att one to match his model. Worked like a charm. (obviously)

I saw a picture of a One X a while back with a sticker or colored wet shield specifically around the camera (the off colored ring). I recall there was a site we could order these from, but can't remember it. Does anyone know what I'm referring to and the site I can order from?

They don't have unlimited everything anymore. Their mobile share plans are pretty good though. I'm on a mobile share plan with 3 other smartphones. It has 10GB of data and unlimited talk and text. That plan costs me about $235. No one else on the plan uses more than 1GB of data so I feel like mine is unlimited. Plus, the LTE in the Atlanta area is really fast.

$120 for 4 lines, some weird business discount
LTE speeds also depend heavily on local traffic. When I first got my One X, I hit 25-30Mps routinely. Now, with a lot more LTE phones out there, I don't think I've gone over 20 in months.

This. I've gotten 45mbs down in areas that didn't have many lte phones, and 20 in heavily populated areas 5 minutes away.
