I have an unlocked HTC Sensation from T-Mobile running CM9.1. I just moved to NZ and haven't been able to get it to work on a carrier here. What I find odd is the Telecom Sensation works in the U.S. Could this be an issue with my ROM or am I just out of luck?
Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi there,...
i thinking of buying a HTC one s for my girlfriend,... I have some questions and I hope you guys can give some information
I saw that the HTC One S (T-Mobile branded) is beeing selled for about 399€. Non-Branded device is about 450 € +-
My first question,... is it possible to remove the t-mobile branding by installing a original HTC Firmware to this device? Normally this shouldn´t be a problem, right?
Second question: I saw that there are some devices with a new chipset?? Are there any problems with the first chipset or what is the reason for this "second chipset (C2)" ??
I´m little bit afraid of buying a device with the first chipset because 2 month ago I´ve bought myself a HTC One X and it was affected of this WLAN issue,... so I was forced to send it back to Amazon,... Don´t want to experience the same trouble with the One S.
Thanks in advance!!
with best regards

ok, thanks for the answer so far.
Are you sure that t-mobile is just selling devices with a S4 processor?

Does anyone know this t-mo phone will work well with other gsm carriers? Or one'll have to unlock the bootloader first?

TMOUS phone works great on other GSM network, but it depends on your network.. I'm on AT&T with One S and still get HSPA:11
You can just buy an unlock code online or request one from TMOUS if you can, otherwise you need to unlock the bootloader -> root -> follow the sim unlock process on the dev section.

I was wondering if you had any luck getting this on a gsm network..I know cricket is CDMA but I have read a few different websites listing the specs for this phone and some say it is GSM capable while others say it is not. Currently I am messing with it to see if I can get it on AT&T. Is this even possible. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys.
The Verizon m8 supports these LTE bands : Verizon: 700/AWS/1800/2600 MHz (taken from the official HTC web site),
but it seems like 1800/2600 are software locked and can't be used.
I had the same issue with the AT&T version of the M8, but installing a rom would fix this issue.
Unfortunately, installing a rom on the Verizon m8 does not help and these bands are still locked.
bootloader unlocked and soff.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

Hi, M9guy
I have same issue with you, I am in China Now, they lock 1800MHz. I tried to find solution, but failured, android version for Verizon M8 can use QPST unlock Verizon Band limitation, but M8 for windows not support by QPST. Certainly, I am not expert, so don't know whether exactly support. After check XDA, found have some guys use QPST flash custom image for Lumia 1520, I don't know whether M8 for windows can use QPST.
If can use QPST, we can try to change Band data that should same as android version.
Thanks

I have selected all LTE bands however, still not getting 4G signals, I am on Fluent Rom V6.1
However, when I was on "DOTTAT_VZWM8_S_OFF_SF_6.0_RUU" i was able to get 4G by following your post.

Try reseting through stock recovery, maybe your nv partition has corrupted. Genrally happens when you flash ROMs. After reseting check if 4g works.

I have a similar problem, I enabled the LTE bands I need and still get no working 4G. I have already factory-reset through stock recovery, but still no working 4G. So if you manage to get it working please let me know. Thanks!
