I plug my phone in and drivers are all good Kies starts and I get no notification about anything just have the Kies menu with all my phone stuff...

Change your clock manually to tomorrow's date. Should work.
Any dev's want the update file? I should be able to copy it and upload it for someone if they remind me where to look for it.

I'll probably give it a try after I feed the triplets and flash back to stock. Not willing to risk it with a custom recovery on it.
Does anyone know were the update is stored at when download it ?because when the phone reboots to apply update it takes me to clockwork recovery is there a way to manually apply it ?

Not working for me. In the cache folder is a fota folder that contains a file called fota.status that is only 64 bytes.
My phone hasn't gotten the update and says no new update. Anyone get chance to pull this off they're phone so I can dissect?

Just finished downloading...the Asia retail is for the MB865, not the ME865, so perhaps it will help. There is also a .crc file included with the update zip.

it definitely will... stock US rom and most of the roms by made by our devs here based on the US firmware work on our phone.. so our phones have same hardware I guess...

What server did you check when you got the update notification?
Last warning. Development section is not meant to post news or random questions. If you didn't make it or releasing a sure thing rom (no, seeing a update on cheesecake and not knowing what it is does not count) it does not belong in Development section. no it doesnt work... it goes half way, then you get the triangle... restarts and says udate failed..

Hi, i recently updated my Samsung infuse 4g to the official GB 2.3.6 that Samsung and AT&T released through KIES mini. The version is UCLB3 and i haven't found any guides to install CWM. Im new to rooting and dont have much experience, please help.

why would you do that use kies...there is a 85% chance of it getting gooned up...or am I missing something here?
you can just use the one click hiemdall to go back to stock...LB3, and there are methods to odin stock, rooted ....
and for one click there are also methods for rooted stock...

Click on the link in my signature below; there you will find my links for how to root UCLB3 and keep the stock kernel. You can either do it yourself, or flash a pre-rooted firmware with Odin or Heimdall.

Kernels on the s3 seem to be pretty much interchangeable I have noticed. I was using an att kernel and a sprint kernel before we had imoseyon kernel.

He didnt do anything and I dont think he flashed it I just tried and it fails ,I cant even get it extracted to do anything with it lol ,I downloaded it 5 times and same thing

odin flashes tar files, so maybe use that instead of cwm

I understand that but its for t-mobile not verizon its not gonna flash with odin it fails I tried it even tho I knew it wouldnt flash

That joy has arrived, albeit somewhat late after all the leaks. I will continue with CM10, I feel good with CM10.

Hey i understand it's exiting having the update afterall but maybe just maybe you could have read through the forum, which if you had you would have found there's already a flood with posts about ICS update being released.
Just wanted this place to have more of useful information rather than redundant ones..

Has anyone noticed that games seem to have better graphics now with ICS? The water in the game sprinkle looks much better, and GTA 3 has the trails effect now and the trees no longer have the blocky texture error anymore.
Help please, why I cant update my atrix? I have downloaded 3 times the update and always: system update failed, help please..

Are you still rooted? If so, go to /cache/recovery/last_log and open with a text editor to see what it says about the fail..

Just wanted to pass along I installed the update while still rooted.
I have the registered superuser app and had outdated binary notification, temp unroot and ota survival checked

That's a new one.. never saw that issue before. Not really sure what advice to give... maybe it just takes a long time - is it still hanging there?

Yes it still hangs since 30 minutes. The artix gets quite warm

To be honest I dont remember, I think deleted, what can I do?
Finally! I am completely stock OTA 2.3.6, so tonight's the night. Fingers crossed.
