[Q] does google movies/tv work on jelly bean? for hdtv - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

On ics google movies/tv wont show on an hdtv when i connect my tf101 to my hdtv through the mini hdmi. Ive heard that people who installed jelly bean have gotten it to work on there tv. Cause supposedly the updqte fixed the issue. Can anyone with jelly bean confirm this please?
I would like to make sure it works before i go through all the trouble of getting jelly bean. Thanks!!

Answered my question. I said screw it and flashed jellybean (raymanfx aosp rom), and guess what? IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!! so its official(if in case it wasnt already), if you wanna watch google movies or tv streaming over mini hdmi to your hdtv, just flash jellybean. Works beautifully
Now my only question is HD... i bought season 4 of wipeout in hd, and it doesnt seem like its in hd. I dont know if its cause of the jelly bean or what but from what i remember on ics hd worked fine. Ill update you guys if anyone can help me though thatd be great thanks

[Q] Help!!TV Out!

Hey guys i want to run my Xbox controller (wireless) (has to be 3.2 to run Xbox controller if I'm correct) on my phone while connected to the TV, But Cyanogen 9 mod doesn't support TV out so i wanted to know if can brute force the TV out(and how...is it for only mt4g??) or maybe there is a ROM that supports TV out if possible.
Please give instruction if u can help me on brute force... thank you i appreciate it
Only Gingerbread roms support TV-Out. You can't "brute force" anything, sorry!
what's with the huge text?
Is there any for that us similar to t.v Out

That is a feature written in the kernel, so as you have already been told, if you would like to use tv out, switch to a GB rom.

[Q] Best ROM's that support MHL?

When I first got this phone, I really enjoyed the MHL abilities, and this was when I had know clue what ADB or Kernel meant. At the moment, I have CM10 (stable)(stock cm10 rom)) and wanted to play some games via the TV and Sixaxis. I realized that CM10 does not support HDMI out, so to the point.
What are the best ROM's that support MHL?
Any sense ROM.

[Q] hdmi + full hd video stuttering!

Hi everyone, i'm experiencing stutters when i try to play movies in full hd format, when plugged to a tv through hdmi.
When unplugged, it plays anything just fine.
I already tried mx player and bs player, and trying to play with subtitles,
I'm running jelly bean brazilian retail, and this version doesn't have hdmi out settings neither
Webtop mode, only mirroring.
Any guess that what can be done to solve this?
I would try to set different resolution and or refresh rate, but, like i said, there isn't these settings.
If anyone has a clue, i would be thankful.
I'm not sure about RAZR hd... But we have the same problem with JB roms in Atrix HD

You probably have cheap HDMI cable. Go to the store and check out high speed HDMI cable and try it on spot before buying ..
It's not the cable

No, unfortunately is not the cable, i have two high speed 1.4 hdmi cables, and also have a regular Razr XT910, with these two cables the Razr XT910 plays smooth and sharp. I tested the same videos, in same conditions and same players.
What i have observed, is that when i plug the Razr HD XT925, the phone screen stutters either, not only the mirrored one (TV Set), and the interface feels heavier, when you are plugged too !
PS. the both cables that i have, came out with the phones (OEM motorola).
Thank You for the tip anyway.
Sometimes it depends on the decoder that is being used to play the files. Are the movies saved to a memory card, if so what class is it.
I use a 64gb class 10 memory card and watch top gear hd videos on my TV all the time with no problems.

Whether you agree or not does not matter. It's a confirmed issue by Verizon and Motorola.
Just connect Razr HD to a lapdock and see how that goes.

Hey Mtvdeo, is it possible to downgrade to ics without unlock the bootloader,
And is there much difference between 4.1.2 to 4.0.0 ( is there webtop like in normal razr?)
I bought mine with jelly bean already, so i don't know if worth lose warranty to downgrade

There is no webtop on ICS for Razr HD. But resolution is great and very stable when you connect to lapdock. If you are on 4.1.2 you need to unlock bootloader.
There is no difference, except that Jelly Bean looks better in terms of design and is a bit faster. That's it.
agreed

[Q] HDMI Audio on CM10 4.1.2 SuperLite for Atrix 4g

Since I can't ask in the development thread, I figured I would ask here. Recently installed the Superlite CM10 4.1.2 for the Motorola Atrix 4G on my phone. When I connect the HDMI out to my TV I get the screen mirroring but the audio still plays out of my phone and not the TV. I can't seem to find any setting in the device to change this. Anyone have any ideas?

[Q] Best Android version for Xoom

Hi all,
Please can you guys tell me which is the best (stable and smooth) Android version (i.e. Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean, KitKat) for Xoom?
I have a WiFi only Xoom and I hardly use it because I always found it very laggy, whereas my HP Touchpad running same android version much smoother, although in paper Xoom has better specks.
I just want to be able to watch YouTube, movies using MX Player and use “Motion Detector Video Recorder” app without tablet freezing or being frustratingly laggy.
Thank you and any reply/suggestion will be highly appreciated.
