I kept pressing check update but it still says "there is no update available"
Yes, I'm in Ontario and I'm currently installing the WW firmware update.
Downloaded it 15 minutes ago in Ontario. US version.

Hi folks...
It's 11:30 EST on Aug 23rd in Ontario, Canada, and I still haven't received the update. I'm running the stock TF firmware (never rooted). When I 'force' my tablet to check for an update, it says there is none. I've been trying off and on for an hour or two and no dice.
I'm wondering, based on this (and some of the very recent comments in one of the "firmware update" threads) if ASUS indeed pulled the US update.
Can anyone else confirm?
To make a really long story short, after Sprint's recent ota 5.07.651.1 (the update that came with the Sprint connections optimizer) was installed on my phone, I could no longer download or update ANY apps on the android/google play market while connected to 4G. Went to the Sprint store to get it fixed, they tried and failed, got a new replacement handset with ota 5.07.651.1 already installed, same exact issue. Reached the conclusion that the update screwed things up. Downloaded and tried to use this RUU file to revert back to the old build right before this one (4.67.651.1):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1484240
This was unsuccesful as the error message it gave me said:
ERROR [140]: BOOTLOADER VERSION ERROR
The ROM Update Utility cannot update your Android phone.
Please get the correct ROM Update Utility and try again.
My hboot is 2.18.0001, is there a version of the above RUU file that is compatible with my bootloader version?

p.s. i tried to post this under development but it wouldn't let me...
i received a 33meg firmware update today ota, as it was only about 33meg i accepted and installed, anyone else had this as i can't find what exactly was updated?
So as you know 3 days ago a small OTA update came out for Verizon which is pretty much the same one AT&T received last month. On wifi I tried to download the update via OTA on the phone, my phone is not rooted and when I tried to download it it just failed in the middle of downloading and I got the error code 503. The wifi I'm using is very fast and steady and nothing else on the phone is having an issue at the moment. So I tried to download it again and it told me that the software currently installed on the phone(original phone release date software) is the newest up to date software. So I called Samsung and told them the situation along with the new build number "VRU1AOD5"(from the new OTA not installed on my phone yet) and software version number currently installed on the phone(5.0.2) and they told me that I'm up to date 5.0.2 and that to their knowledge they never heard of the update or build number I gave them and there was no update for Verizon. So how I can redownload the OTA? because for 3 days now I'm unable to download the OTA due to the 503 error from the very first time I tried to download the update.
What is mind boggling to me is how Samsung the creator of the device has no idea of this update so they can't even help me out. Then they're basically telling me how the hell am I getting the 503 error when I have the latest build(according to them) and software update which is not the case here and I told them that.
Use the Odin file in the return to stock thread
A few month ago, my phone started to pop out the software update to me asking me to update my phone, but after i clicked download, it is not really downloading, keep 0%.
I cant find the link to download it manually. Anyone can help? Can i do it manually?
I bought it in Hong Kong. My phone Version:
Andriod 8.0.0
software number: 2.31.400.6
New software update is 2.42.400.2
Is your device rooted?. If so that is why you can't get the update.

No, not rooted. But cant update without reason
Make sure you have a good wi fi connection when you do attempt to download the update. I know that the US HTC website has the latest version for download for the USA unlock phones. Good luck.
