After the last update of Youtube I can't get the to work. It closes just after I click the app icon.
Anyone has the same problem? Any solution/fix for this?
Thank you in advance!
Can't you try "uninstall updates" as a temporary fix?

Weird. I guess the last option would be to factory reset or wait for another update to see if that works for you :-/
I'll wait and hope the next update solve the problem...
Same problem here.
Using TF300TG and the youtube app doesn´t even start when clicking on the youtube icon.
Just updated to JellyBean and the problem stays ...
Only "workaround" is to deinstall the update and work with the on stock youtube app (which is actually fine for me ...)
I have the same issue here. Even reinstalling the app doesn't fix it. I'll try to clear cache aka dalvik when I come back home
Clearing the Cache did nothing for me ...

i see the review ratings for this latest version is very low, like 1 and 2 stars.
i guess what you guys could do is go back to stock youtube app (uninstall updates) and temporary use it until google rolls out another update.
it's working fine for me, if you want to try i can upload the apk file of the latest version, maybe when you manually install it will work.
but i don't see any changes in this version, so you don't really need this update.

I'm betting the servers are down or something. I just check a 8.2.3.9 tablet and it refuses to update, telling me that there are none available. I'd give it a day or so.
You might be able to manually flash it if you find the update .zip (looked quick and I couldn't), then boot into recovery and try flashing it, but I haven't poked around the TF's recovery yet so not sure if you can manually flash on stock recovery.

This link still shows 8.2.3.9.
I got my Amazon order of 16G today too, with 8.2.3.9, check for update, none.
Sorry to hijack your thread, does anyone what could cause this and how I could fix it? The main camera shows lines, the smaller camera works ok. I updated to latest software with the built in update check and no change. Is there anything else I can try? That built in update is same as rom update? Or rom updates other things too?
I posted a separate topic for this

I don't think you can, unless you made a backup of the stock browser using Titanium Backup or something.
That's why you should never fully delete system apps, always make a backup of them or freeze them.
On the topic of root access.. updated my TF300T to Jelly Bean... tried restoring root using Voodoo OTA Root Keeper. It says restored but I don't appear to have root access when using Lucky Patcher or any other app. Any ideas?

You need that someone still on ics pulls the browser apk from /system/app the you will have to push it to the same directory and reboot. That should reinstall it. NOTE factory reset wont restore deleted apps.

While it is true that they log your attempts at installing updates (you can enter your MAC into their system, I don't remember where, and it shows all of your updates - I've done it) they don't truly block future attempts after a failure. All you have to do is open up settings, apps, all, and clear the data on the DMClient app (I believe, I'm trying to confirm that's what it was). Tried it after a failed .30 update and it let me download it again.

Updated ROM to version .30 with firmware update for the camera. The bootanimation is simpler, doesn't have the second animated and discoloured phase of the Asus logo.
IIRC when the update arrived to my XOOM for Jellybean there was small update, the bootloader I think, before the big one dropped. Here's hoping JB drops soon!

You should search for the update in "cache" folder in sdcard root, but you will not find it if you already applied the update so you have to download the OTA but not apply it.Usually the file is called "dlpkg" or "dlpkgfile"...so look for /cache/dlpkg.

*** This will be a one time build and post before nightlies start, so you can enjoy 10.2 for a bit until it goes live. ***
1. Make sure you are on the ASUS 4.2 bootloader
2. Make sure you are using TWRP 2.5 or greater or CWM 6.0.3.x
3. Download the ROM here md5: dfae3ea0caac535f15cdb2daea82c585
4. Download the 4.3 gapps here md5: c34cc1d0d8f7209feed07a6af308405e
5. Make a backup before proceeding, you are heading into experimental territory.
5. Install CM, then flash gapps.
6. Reboot
I won't be monitoring this much, as for bugs etc, so feel free to help each other here.

I cant wait to Flash this. Android 4.3's TRIM support should really help reduce the constant lag that often makes our Transformers completely unusable most of the time. Mine has been sitting at home running the boinic application for the past week as I cant even type out an email without the lag.

This is for you Titanium Backup users. I would not restore data, this is a new version of android.
For TiBu fix
Go: menu > preferences > backup folder location
Click: Detect > Whole Device
Change location to "/storage/emulated/legacy/TitaniumBackup"
(if you have no backups saved to SD, hit Back nav key until you can select this directory manually)
IF asked if you'd like to move files to new directory, select NO
You then can restore apps.
On TiBu's Twitter they released a beta which supposedly fixes inability to uninstall apps via TiBu, but I haven't tested this

You should try it yourself, make a backup in case that hdmi doesn't work but if it does you stay in Android 4.3.
I'm feeling it a little bit smoother than CM 10.1 not a single FC or random reboot on latest version.
