The diag file for this phone should set supercid as it removes sim unlock that's a pg58img.zip I believe. 2 seconds I will find the link
http://www.multiupload.co.uk/KHJXXHKA8F here is the link. Make a full nandroid backup first before using this as it will wipe your data from your phone. Once its ran run your back up, restore your phone and you should be good to go good luck!

I think that you may be right about that ganeshp, I know the PM58DIAG.ZIP actually performs two functions. One is to SIM unlock the device but I can not remember what the other function is of the top of my head. I could be wrong but I thought I had read somewhere you can use Terminal Emulator as Superuser and write Super SID to the device. Like I said I could be wrong about that though. I will see if I can confirmthat and find the other function of the DIAG file when I get home and have WiFi cellular data kills my battery.
Edit. OK I have redone the pg58diag.nbh just to be sure of myself, and must admit I am wrong. This phones diag file reacts differently to others I have used. And as such does not give supercid. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused
Sent from my HTC Sensation using xda premium
So how do you super cid through terminal emulator? Or can you just use the pg58img file? Or are these not possible?

Hi,
Haven't you recently flashed a stock ruu?
This will have removed hboot fastboot.
You need to run revolutionary again to restore your fastboot.
It will error out, but you will get revolutionary hboot flashed.

Hi, I need to know if anyone has tried this. I need to be able to flash my 'original' Sensation with the Official XE Stock RUU. I'm currently running Android Revolution HD and have been experiencing a lot of FC's.
I would be so grateful if any of you clever guys can help me.
I am S-OFF and Super Cid

Yes, you can.
But you'll probablybe better off with newer 1.50 ruu

Thanks. I'll give it a go. It does pick the phone up and thinks its doing a update so it is connecting properly. I don't think it wants to install as it picks it up as not being a 'XE'. Also could I ask, where can I locate the RUU you mentioned?

Correct, 1.50 is OG Sensation ruu, but its newer that 1.73, xe ruu. If you still want to use XE RUU, but can't do it, pm me, we'll try to work it out. I'd start with reinstalling drivers and redownloading RUU.

The error is unknown. It says it just as it starts flashing.
Sent from my HTC Sensation XE with Beats Audio using XDA App
You could try this:
1. Set your phone so Super CID (you need to be S-OFF to do this)
2. Make sure you have HTC Sync installed
3. Go to Settings>Power and turn off 'Fast Boot'
4. Turn the phone off
5. Turn it back on whilst holding the volume down button - this will take you to the HBOOT screen (it'll say HBOOT above the menu)
6. Use the volume button(s) to highlight 'FASTBOOT' and press power to select FASTBOOT mode (it'll say FASTBOOT instead of HBOOT)
7. Connect to your PC
8. Once driver is installed, run the RUU file as it's a Windows program
9. Follow the instructions
Use the newest RUU as well, which should be 1.73.401.4

That's because hboot 1.20 doesn't have fastboot flashing capabilities. But you can still flash radios and hboot stuff, provided you make into a bootloader flashable zip.

No, no you cannot, at least with the hboot 1.20. You CAN however, flash a bootloader compatible zip, which is not at all near the same as a fastboot flash.

While the rom may be original, the recovery might not. They are different operating systems sitting on different partitions.
Flashing an RUU would revert also to stock recovery.

I have the same problem but I am not really sure which of these two to download or does it matter. I have 4ext recovery installed.
RUU_PYRAMID_LE_ICS_35_S_HTC_Europe_3.33.401.106_Radio_11.76A.3504.00U_11.24A.3504.31_M_release_266172_signed.exe

The release number that shows up on the failed installation is 281163. And the assert failed in the patch check is teeter. I un-installed this apk so is this another reason for the failed update?
Thanks
