Disappointing sdcard write speed via usb - Nexus S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My NS has a really slow writing speed via usb, about 1.5 MB/s no matter what rom it was flashed. But when I test with SD Tools, the speed is good. Is that a usb cable problem or something? Does anyone have same problem with me?
Sorry for my bad English

I know that these can be used on some of the Android tablets to give you additional connectivity - external hard drives, that sort of thing. However, would this work with a Desire HD too? ie, could I hook up a USB keyboard or USB hard drive through such an arrangement?
I'm thinking probably not - but if I'm wrong, this could be quite useful
I believe we don't have host functionality.

There are people working on host capabilities, you can check here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=993152
Besides you'll need an external power supply to energize the usb peripheal. The phone can't do that. The thread above will shed some light on it.
if it is work on DHD
it will be so useful to me
Hi, in the end it works or not. Because I'd like to buy it. A greeting and thank you very much.
how its working?
Can i connect my cool disk to my dhd????

Does it use USB 3.0?

I just need some clarification here, I saw someone on YouTube mention that the n5 uses USB 3.0 for faster file transfers, so is it true?

Also keep in mind there's no real benefit to USB 3.0 right now. There aren't any phones out there with internal storage fast enough to actually make USB 3.0 worth it.

[Q] Why Can't I?

Good day to all of you folks, I have this curiosity why I can't connect to 2g,3g or 4g in my phone? I still have my IMEI, I have my APN, and using Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 STABLE with DKP Kernel. Can't figure out what's the problem though my Motorola Droid 4 can connect to mobile internet using this SIM.
Any willing heart there to reply with my problem will be much appreciated even if it is not a solution or whatsoever.

Thanks for your suggestion man
Oh I see, I just update in to CM10.2 a past dats ago but actually no signal when I using it. Don't know what's the difference between the modem of CM10.1.3 and CM10.2?
For your personal security, could you remove the photo with your cell phone number as well as IMEI?
Oh sure, thanks for the advise pretty appreciated.

Let me clarify guys...I have no issues moving smaller files such as .mp3 but when transferring larger files it won't work.

I had this problem but only when I didn't use original usb/charge chord? I have a S4 chord won't work moving ROM s over until I used original equipment? Idk

Are you dragging to the same spot on every deny? Have you tried dragging to external? Seems to be a permissions error on the internal storage. Upload cap maybe? I dunno.
Try external.

USB Type C card reader and Flash Drive?

Guys I'm looking to find a card reader that I am able to plug into the bottom of my phone so that I can view photos from my trail camera. I recently purchased this one in the photo from Amazon and it doesn't work. I was wondering if anyone has got one yet that works? Also looking for a USB Type C flash drive. With my GN4 I was able to find one so that I could put the files on there that I did not want on my phone or when I was in school I could use that flash drive then if I had to bring something up in class and I did not have my computer I could use that.
Any suggestions?
