The default email app is quite good but I have encountered two problems.
When I save an email it suggests "Save to Important" which I did, but where is the "important" folder as it doesn't appear on the email folder pane?
I have 25 showing in my Trash folder but when I click it none show on the preview pane (RH Side). I can add mails to the trash and they now show but when deleted I'm still left with 25 shown on folder but all seem to have physically gone.
Use K-9 email. It's better.

Go to setting and refresh the folder list.
Yeah I tried that. It kept coming up blank. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the folder list is there now. Maybe something got corrupted in the install? Thanks for the help!
I am using google to sync my contacts, I tried to put in a name Major Tom it saves the name without the word Major. I then tried to create another name Major Impact it saved the contact just as Impact. any ideas?
You can log into your gmail account on your pc or webbrowser on the phone and try from there.

You have multiple numbers saved in various locations. Go to view in people app and select to show the three locations. Phone, google, and sim. See what numbers are already there and delete the extras and change the default locations of the ones you want to save. It wont allow the same name in more than one spot.

My boss just got the Droid Ultra and is having issues with Exchange sync'ing folders. When the new account is added and default options are selected, random folders, some at the top of the INBOX heirarchy, some deep down in the folder tree, just randomly show up. There's no rhyme or reason to it. It's not like these are within the "sync folders every 3 days" time frame.
Furthermore, it doesn't appear there's a location to even select what folders you want/don't want sync'd. I remember on older builds of Android, this was an easy-to-find option.
Right now she's using Touchdown, but she's not going to be happy about paying $20 for a product that shouldn't be necessary.
Opinions? It's 4.2.2 by the way.
I'm using Exchange on my Maxx wish is the same version on the Ultra I believe. I can view all of my inbox content and sub folders without any issues. It sounds like the days to sync settings need to be adjusted. There's one for the inbox and one inside folder options. Give that a try.

Hi All,
Having made the jump from the HTC One X to the Nexus 5 I am struggling to find a view in the Email app that allows me to see all email for my Inbox as well as other folders that I have asked to be synchronised.
I have a number of different accounts and this was a really nice feature to see the inbox plus sub folders instead of trying to remember to go through all the folders one at a time.
Do I need to load another email app or am I missing something obvious?
Thanks for any assistance provided.

Not sure if this is a known bug or whether there is a setting but when I originally set up my exchange account I accidentally added a favourite folder at the top of the inbox list. So when I open the app I see the 'favourite' folder then 'show 45 more folders' then my emails. I have even deleted that 'favouite' folder from the server but it just replaces that folder with a new 'favourite'. I have been through all the settings I can think of to remove it but this annoying folder just stays there. Even deleting the account and reinstating it again still shows this favourite folder at the top of my inbox.
Can anyone help in what I thought would be a simple removal procedure
