Oh, download winRAR as suggested, open the .zip folder, and copy the .apk onto your phone.
Then, install it, reboot your phone, and it should work flawlessy. The reboot is necessary, as it is a system app.

Could be a corrupt zip? Here's the APK directly: T-Mobile TV
The app runs for me on ICS SK3 but says something is blocking it from initializing my trial and cannot continue

Idk, with any app I install the .apk directly, unless noted otherwise, like with the LG Camera.
And probably not, My Account and a bunch of T-Mobile apps don't work on ICS in general, doesn't matter what ROM or device. You'll have to wait till they update, or use a GB ROM in the meantime.
Hi every one,
Today is my first day with xda premium app and am happy to tel u guys that I found out a easy way to edit .apk files right from ur rooted android mobile without the help of PC or development knowledge.. am a newbie not a dev!
So here is wat u need to begin
1) The apk file which u need to edit
2) Root explorer or any root file browser
3) Zipsigner 2 or any signing tool
4) patience to scroll between folders
So lets begin;
Open the root explorer and long click the apk file in /sdcard
Extract all the contents and go to extracted folder; in most of the case u get 5 files
Among them Delete Meta - inf folder and in res folder u can edit wat u want
Make sure not to delete anything except Meta Inf folder
Replace the png which u need
Remember while replacing a png the name should be exact as the parent file
After playing wit files go back and multiselect the remaining 4 files and zip them wit any name
After zipping rename the .zip file into .apk file using the same root explorer
Now go to zipsigner app and sign the modified apk file with platform key
Uninstall the app which u want to replace and install the modified apk and here u go u have ur customized app in ur menu LOLZ.. reply if u have any problems and pls pls don't forget to hit thanks button..
Hit thanks button if I had helped u..
Galaxy y wit xda premium
Renaming to zip needs a file manager asusual I have mentioned root explorer.. and next u have to unzip it.. doesn't reduce steps if u name it to zip..
Using galaxy y and xda premium
Hit thanks button if I had helped u
NinjaMorph. Done.
I'm gonna try this mate, hopefully as easy as mention

Use this xplore "x-plore "
This is give
Open apk as zip
Option ..
The same option is in root explorer as "extract the contents" and dealing with ninjamorph didn't help me and some times after applying theme using ninja and reboot whoa I was stuck at boot loop.. so this process is safe than any other
Using galaxy y and xda premium
Hit thanks button if I had helped u
Mates I used tis method to change the bad looking menu icon in my launcher .. worked perfectly now I have my customized launcher yuppy !

How to download .apk files directly from PC
Hi friends, Today I'll explain how to directly download .apk files from PC, many of you may be familier from flashing custom ROM and recoveryes in your device, so many will be flashing ROM frequently so they need to download their beloved Games and apps again and again as the apps downloaded from google play doesn't save the file but just run and install it, the leecher I found from the net is useful in downloading the actual setupfile of the app so you can install it whenever you want.
1 - Download 'Real APK Leecher v 1.3.5 (File in attachments)
2 - Extrace the zip file and open .exe file
3 - Enter the primary email ID you use in your device to download apps and enter its password
4 - Enter correct Device ID (to find device ID download Device ID app from google play)
5 - Fill all other details
6 - Now the leecher will go the download page search the app and it will show you the results
7 - Right click the app and click download (You need the purchace paid apps or it won't download)
8 - Now it will start to download and save the file in your specified destination
9 - Now copy the files into the sd card of your phone
10 - Go to settings->Security and tick unknown sources
11 - Now run the .apk file in your phone and it will start to install.
Note - The leecher is not made by me and i found it in net
:good: Hit thanks if this helped you :good:

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has a flashable modem for N920TUVU3DPG1? I ask because I've not found it on the forums here.
Thanks
I'm guessing you're on the new Note 7 ROM? Are you having issues with data syncing? Can't believe no one has repacked the modem and baseband into a flashable zip. If I knew how, I would.

I was on it. But I went back to Stock for now. I didn't like the constant disconnection between my smartwatch and the phone. The accessibility services kept shutting off which annoyed me enough.
As for the modem, I restored it via TWRP since I'd backed it up along with the stock software but I don't know if the TWRP restore worked cause the accessibility still glitched (someone told me he flashed the modem and it fixed this).
The data syncing wasn't bad if I remember correctly.... Mind specifying?

No notifications that requires data would sync once the app was closed and swiped from recents. Only texts. When I opened the app I would see the new email, FB notification, etc.

Now that I think of it, this happened for me a lot with the messaging app I used. Also, I use Textra as my default messaging app and out of no where, texts stopped coming in so I didn't know until 4pm that someone texted me at 12:30pm. lol...it was crappy.

Has anyone flashed just the DPG1 modem and not upgraded the baseband? Can you flash just the modem and still function OK?
If so, does this fix the issue with notifications on the T-Mobile Note 7 port?
Sent from my SM-N930F using Tapatalk
I flashed just the modem but it doesnt help with notifications. The only ones that still pop up are sms. Me personally im ok with that until we get a new kernel and fully working tmobile rom with wifi calling and volte.

Hello,
I've been looking to accomplish the exact same thing without having to completely install stock firmware. I followed your guide and it worked perfectly. I wanted to say thank you for taking your time to explain the steps. By chance do you have a kernel you would recommend? I am currently running TEKXodus Ultra Hybrid 13.7 with arter97 build 22. Thank you for any help or advice in advance.

Sorry bout that. but its not working for me either, im also getting the error.. i just shared the apk file and instruction on how to install it for Leakhanak... maybe you can try asking Ohhdayumm how he made it work, what version is he using, which rom etc...:good:
or if i remember it correctly this was working with a s7edge or note 7 port rom.
Get the latest apk from Sammobile, installing as a normal app worked for me with latest version of the app, unrooted and unmodded phone btw.
It's like Samsung Pay, once you trip Knox, it's not going to work.
