I have flashed an wrong ROM (P5110's ROM) to P5100, which changed the bootloader to P5110 (wifi only version now)
i have tried to flash an new official ROM (4.0.4) to the device (via Odin), but failed.
The download mode showing the device is P5110.
can i just flash back the bootloader of P5100???
please help, thanks!!
Can you turn on your tab? If you can, try changing you build.prop back to p5100 with root explorer.. Change every p5110 to p5100, be carefull with changing your build.prop.. If not, idk.. Sorry.. Did you try restore your previous rom with recovery?
Thanks, actually i can still flash cm10 from CWM recovery, the problem is I cant install the Official rom,.
In CM 10's build.prop, the device is P5100
But in Download mode, it shown the device is P5110:crying:
I think it's why I can't flash back to P5100's rom
Di you try with samsung kies? Maybe kies can help..
Manually flash a p5100 rom with Odin.by selecting each individual files...

P5100 rom means roms which are designed for P5100 like cm10

Here are the stock firmwares for P5100. Choose the firmware of the country u bought the tab from.

You could try to find the stock rom in www.samfirmware.com (register their first)

Try flashing the aserg rom, it's the stock rom but it's flashable via cwm.

Is it possible to get root on stock ICS by flashing stock ICS, then CWM, and then flash super user signed.zip via CWM? (Same procedure as with GB 2.3)

official is used in contrast with leaks and stock in contrast with custom, I use it on my tab flawlessly.

You will have to wipe/factory reset anyway cos if not you might get stuck in a bootloop....try and flash with odin first. If alls well then no need to wipe data. Dont forget to backup first!

Its an official bootanimation for this firmware.. If u want to change it, U must root,install CWM and flash custom kernel

This rom is international multi CSC, (Country Code Salt) is that part of the firmware that contains any customizations of the software provider of the country in which it is intended.
But as such there is no restriction to use any ROM for any country if your device is unlocked(carrier restriction free)....

Put zip Rom v1.7 in SD internal,reboot recovery,backup,flash zip,wipe data factory reset,
if you come from stock rom or another rom ,follow the istruction in aroma installer , reboot...If you have problems with installer reflash Rom v1.7...

And i have flashed cwm recovery in my tab than i have to go to in cwm recovery after pressing the volume rocker and piwer on button then when it shows me that to select option theniwill go to recover from sd card ( i have to put your rom ininternal memory right ??) Then how much time it will take to recovery or flash your rom ????

why don't you integrate adobe flash player to work on all smartphones?i mean on galaxy fit it don't work if I flash to CYANOGENMOD 10.1.why?or if I can how I can make that adobe flash player to work? by the way I install stock rom again on my Samsung galaxy fit why I can't root it again?? or stock rooms can't be rooted?

I have no idea about flash player but about the stock ROM.. You can root any stock ROM.. There is no issue about that..:good:

I tryed everything.i try with a soft called Kingo Android ROOT too,on costom ROOMs is working but on Stock roms it don't.i need bootloader or something?.i forget to say this is from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/ Romania stock Rom Samsung Galaxy Fit GT-S5670sorry my bad English

1. Its impossible that rooting does not work on Stock ROM. Custom ROM's are already rooted. You don't need to do anything extra. Just try the link i provided. Those are stock ROM's which are already rooted. Just flash them and you will have a rooted Stock ROM. You might be going wrong somewhere with the rooting process.
2. Check this thread. It will tell you everything about rooting, flashing etc.

you probably have to go completely back to stock to flash it or wait for baddnewz, football, skydragon, patensas etc etc to upload a custom version ... yes it's 4.4.2 ota

To flash OTA you need the stock rom with stock recovery.

alright so for flashing OTA you must be relocked or locked / not rooted / complete stock with recovery and all. and yeah you can install OTA with the stock recovery provided it is for your MODEL ID AND CID.

OTA = over the air update (firmware update)
firmware = operating system as a whole

Ok so with me having an unlocked phone i must be locked. I know my phone model id & cid but how do i find out the same for the zip file?

well i always relocked my bootloaders. what is your cid ?? i think many major cid in eu got OTA. can you send me the link of the ota?
