official is used in contrast with leaks and stock in contrast with custom, I use it on my tab flawlessly.

You will have to wipe/factory reset anyway cos if not you might get stuck in a bootloop....try and flash with odin first. If alls well then no need to wipe data. Dont forget to backup first!

Its an official bootanimation for this firmware.. If u want to change it, U must root,install CWM and flash custom kernel

Well I guess my interesting trip to jelly bean 4.2 was interesting and fun but it is still buggy and I am missing a lot of touchwizs interface so I would like To go back to stock. Unfortunately it looks like I put my backup stock on my tablets sdcard not the micro sdcard and it deleted it when i flashed a ROM. I have searched Google for a answer to this but nothing seems to pop up can anyone help me get back to stock?

download the latest version for your device from Sammobile.com and flash it via odin! Then if you want to root again, just follow the procedure you did before to root and flash CWM.

I wasn't sure, I can't flash a rom on mine (none available) so I wasn't sure. I did a CWM Backup of the stock, and did a system dump. But no JB roms for my GT2

i think black bean is cyangen mod and yes i have cwm i want to get back to stock though... not another rom.
I mean zapblaster is a stockROM, sammobile does not provide a Firmware for you, and without a backup ( :banghead: ) there is no way back.

Yes u r right im talking about 4.2.2 stock touchwiz rom. It is present in cyanogenmod 10.2 and I think in 10.1 also.

I'm new here, but here 2 way how would i remove it:
1) Find other bootanimation, or original and install it.
2) Install other/stock rom and then bootanimation should change to stock(if stock rom installed), or custom(if other rom installed)

So there is some lag with Chromecast in general or just when you cast whole screen?
I did notice some weird choppy screen lag when using Beast Mode 1.2 kernel and casting whole screen.

Flash the OK3 .tar in odin. You'll lose root but you can flash twrp in odin then flash this kernel in recovery. I haven't tried rerooting with this kernel yet because I've been playing with this Gear VR too much

Yep. Stock OK3 .tar in odin. I just flashed TWRP via odin. Then booted into TWRP, flashed this kernel, supersu 2.52, xposed & Gear VR works rooted on this kernel
question - do i have to be on ok3 for this to work? im on oj6
