So just out of curiosity and hope this is in the right place, but when does anyone think we might see some good ol CM7 on our awesome Sensations?

Cool, but we are not asking for estimated time, we are asking for EXACT time haha Just kidding - I can wait Id rather have a good working one, rather than having something that is alpha release of the alpha version of the beta of the nightly...

I wasn't asking specifically for an ETA, I was just curious if it would be weeks, months etc. cuz I'm no dev, but would love to learn how to be one and I know "when its ready" but I guess I could have said is anyone working on porting it to the Sensation, but that was already answered in this thread so thank you

Just like my post, yours could have went without saying. I may be wrong, but I don't feel like you repeating something you've heard countless times and most likely have been told yourself helps at all. Could just be me though. Carry on.

I'm not trying to be a jerk but there are already THREE other threads about CM7 on the Sensation....anyway a few of the CM7 devs already have the device and are currently working on making the CM7 for the Sensation public

[Q] Vagabond vs. ZEUS?! which is the better ROM??

I know a similar thread already exists but I just needed a more up-to-date opinion considering the ROMs have changed recently. Both ROMs in my opinion are good, but I am having a hard time deciding which one to use. I just recently went from CM7 to F1 Innovations. I've had F1 for a week and hate it. Battery life is horrible, the system is slow, and apps crash. So i was wonder which is better, vagabond or zeus. i know it is up to me but i would love other people's opinions, people who have used the ROMs, know them, and love/hate them. any comment, input, or opinion is greatly appreciated thanks!

That depends on who you ask, and what you are looking for in a ROM...

welp, i just flashed zeus and so far so good. havent really had enough time with it. now i'm downloading the ICS theme, because i hate the stock look lol. but for now i'm gonna mess with it, reinstall my apps, data, contacts and all that ****. as for the modem, is the UCKL2 good or is UCLB3 better?

i checked the superthread. that's where i came up with zeus and vagabond aha. im stuck between those two. but from what ive read, zeus is king. but we'll see. thanks

I see what're you're saying. But don't get me wrong, I meant no bad intent or tone there at all.
The polls can give you the opinion of the majority...and that would be Zeus.
If you wanted my opinion, in the context of the 2 roms you listed, I would also choose Zeus.
Vagabond, as the op stated: poor, light, stockish, spartan.
I'm kinda surprise that it was even compared. If it's okay with you, I will take that as a compliment.

:beer: thanks again guys! and thats qkster! loving zeus at the moment. just found a good touchwiz 4.5 apk. now im lookin to flash beats audio and i think i'll have one of the best roms i've used

For one, Zeus is not king... its my version of a system I enjoy running with the features I like... Vagabond has its own personality and unique features that Zeus doesnt. Its a fantastic rom also. Its user choice on what you like and what you enjoy, and, what works best for you. Neither rom is better than the other. Period.

Thats really not true, I like both of those guys but its not true. Invasion did the first full sense 4 port and is really working hard to fix full rosie. I dont know what the hell saranahai is doing but he helps me a bunch. I have been working on a sense 4 kernel and building from the source. You dont know what goes on behind the scenes brah. Just two or so months ago I seen this kid asking how do you you flash the new Virtuous rom and then all of a sudden he's on the team and is a kernel dev. Makes no sense at all. A Moment to say Thanks

Seeing as how I came here as a noob, I had tons of questions. Jailbreaking an iPhone is a cake-walk compared to getting an Android phone rooted/flashed. Well, not so much for me anymore. I'd like to take a moment and thank members like InflatedTitan. He took much time and stayed patient with me, answering all of my questions and then some. I appreciate how he didn't treat me like a dope and encouraged me to ask questions.
Because of him, I was able to get CleanRom installed and it works great. So what I'm saying secondary to this is that if you're a newbie--Don't hesitate to ask questions, research a lot and don't do something you aren't prepared to do with the possibility of consequences. After all, it was reading many other people's posts that had problems that got me to research even more.
Just wanted others to know :good:
