thanks, most likely im just gonna post it on ebay
it has a small crack on the screen (and ive watched other cracked ones that have been going for around $150)
which would be sweet cuz it would cover the cost of my one x

the screen not only looks, but feels much nicer to me

I'm picking up my one x on Sunday. They were out of the white one so I waited for it. Yea its a nice phone. I started out with an HTC phone so I've always been partial to the smoothness of sense. Never really liked touchwiz much.
Much smoother than touchwiz huh? Transitions are super smooth. Almost like iPhone smooth.

yeah i really am surprised with how fast it is, especially considering its stock.
some people call it a lagless experience, i would say its close to it.
cant wait till we get rom's going, considering its already incredible.

i feel the same way. also have my HOX up for sale. will be getting a S3. never buying a ATT branded HTC phone again

I've got the S3, GNex, and HOX and I'm also thinking about selling the HOX. Between the three, I find myself using the S3 and GNex the most. I love the HOX, but if I sell it now I can put the money aside towards the next Nexus phone when it's introduced. Decisions, decisions.

Nice OP! Don't worry its a great phone as long as your getting the GSM version...I have both the hox and the nexus, I use them both and love them both.

Yes i got mine brand new Pebble Blue for 590

One of my lines has an upgrade in November. I'll see what's available then. Even bone stock the HOX is a fantastic phone.

oh it def is. but this whole lock down thing is pissing me off. i already had the INT hox and was plauged with defects. then to the S4 fantastic but this whole lock down. i am sure i'll be kicking myself if and when S-off comes avail. but i miss the S-line of samsung products. now only iff the HOX screen was in S3 damn would be one perfect ass sex phone.
by NOV prices should drop drastically . but me i hate waiting :good:

And more people would rather have inferior hardware. Phone is already beastly as it is. Don't know how much more you could possibly want out of a phone performance wise.

An unlocked bootloader and root? Impossible right now on the new firmware. The HOX is a beastly device and Joe public has a lot to be happy about. However its not an ENTHUSIASTS device. AT&T made sure of that.

At&t One X free @ Walmart Wireless

Picked up one for my wife and I. Best Buy will price match. This is with a new contract. Enjoy!

Really depends on how many phones the store sells it now back buddy that works at a walmart connection center and there hox's are 1.75 firmware I think

It came with 2.20 as I expected. Had the GS3 for a day, and to me it wasn't worth $150 than a free One X. The Best Buy girl was like...you're returning the S3? Really? They have almost identical specs and the HOX is sexier....

I'm happy i paid $200 however many months ago. I'd rather pay $200 for a rootable device. A free 2.20 isnt very sexy to me. :laugh:

I have no issues with them releasing 3458923485 phones a year. My only problem is lack of support for non important (current flaghship) device. We won't get the update after jellybean because only the one x+ will get it.

I feel the whole HTC desire HD update tthing coming again after we get jb ...HTC will say well get it than say good bye hope u grade to whatever phones they have on the market at that time

At least tthey held out for a little longer ...but why do they make this change? I'm not too disappointed ...they have better customer service at least

Not familiar with return policies with the American carriers. Thought it was useful info for you guys as the 2.20 firmware seems to be testing the loyalty of some users.

Well it doesn't surprise me really. I moved back to AT&T two months ago after a long long absence and was surprised that they had a 30 day period. I actually started with an Atrix HD, found out there was no root so pawned it off on the gf so I could grab a One X. Thought I could root it but didn't realize I would get stuck with the 2.2 update so I'm with everyone else waiting for root.
Trying like all he** to find a way to root it myself but don't have a whole lot of free time to devote to it so I do what I can when I can. Still happy with the phone and with moving back to AT&T thoiugh and I know root will come eventually.

60 days, actually. No restocking fees either, but that is for everyone.

I have a feeling restocking fee is one of those terms created to take more money from you.

Looking to buy one, this post has the same pic but it says it works with "HTC One X XL" whatever that means, so, does that mean it would fit?

It almost certainly means they just don't know and it won't fit when you get it.

Don't buy it won't work. I speak from personal experience. I bought one. The fit is close, but the pogo pins just don't line up to provide power.

No idea. Tempted to buy it with bounty money and take one for the team if it doesn't fit, though.
Can anyone find one of these that ships from the US, so we don't have to wait 6 to 8 weeks to find out if it's legit?

I didn't notice this before. In pic number 3 on this page I noticed that they had an AT&T version. I am assuming that this means that this will work for our phones, maybe, hopefully.
