Hey! I am NextGenROM and I design ROMs for the Galaxy S2 Skyrocket and Galaxy S2 SGH-T989!
I am needing some people to join my ROM team to help out with multiple issues I have:
I have bad internet (Cannot upload ROMs to my Website)
Can't release updates everyday (Need people to help release more)
I want to expand ROMs for multiple devices!

I am have made the Illuzion ROM for Galaxy S2 (T-Mobile) and i am working on an At&t version!

You still have to upload the files to them unless you are reliant on them.

Yea i understand! But it wasnt going to be un-attended access. Whenever you are on and then I will have to put in a password (randomizes it) that you give me and then i can help out. But i totally respect your decision.

I agree- flaming unnecessary.
But- what comes across as a red flag to me is the non-existent rom he says he created and ALL the benefits he offers ALL xda members get.
Edit: to be honest- i LIKE the idea of being part of a team- of established developers.....

Seems like the smarter thing to have done would have been to worked on someone elses ROM before contemplating creating your own.

Ok its been a day and then some so were are the full odin and full samsung install files so that we may test ec05 to see wha= is the best way to develope a rom based off of ec05. I say use jourling for ext4 and keep sprint id and carrier iq as realy folks what's the big deal over carrier iq?

Well I'm sure he might if the devs here on xda didn't feel it necessary to keep the update from everyone by only releasing their roms based off it, for an open source community the devs here sure like to act like selfish little internet fame seekers, true open source developers would have shared the update the moment they got their hands on it in unmodified form so everyone could take a stab at it, just goes to show you what xda is really based around

That's, uh, exactly what the Bonsai team did. The links have been removed by mods, but they released a stock deodexed EC05.
Curious as to why that was? What rules was it violating? They didn't say what rules just that it was closed until it complied...

Nice job posting what you don't know about... the thread was closed because it linked to their personll site you have to register for. It is completely free. Donations are asked for, not required, but they are asked for by every dev.

They are working on it. They have it about 85% complete (total guess). It can be installed but when flashing a restore/new rom is where the problem lies The only dev's that can do this sort of thing are doing this only as a favor to us. They do not have this particular device and can only work on this project between there own projects and their personal lives. So we try not to ask these questions very often so they don't take our eagerness as impatience/ungratefulness.

Not trying to be rude, but was reading some of your posts Da_reaper, i think you should become more familiar with your phone and the basics (adb,fast boot etc) before thinking about creating a ROM

As far as I know Cyanogen is making a ice cream sandwich build and it is currently in alpha. This is for the g2x. We have other developers working on the optimus 2x and are relatively in the same situation.
No one seems to be able to get sound and camera working. I recently found out that CM now has sound working, but still no camera. Almost everything else is working
. So the ueation arises... Where is it? If your looking for a copy of it, I'm sorry to tell you that it is not available for just anyone.
It is however available for a limited number of people... 20 actually. Everything is working on my build!!!! But it needs some stability so I'm looking for some beta testers who have a g2x and an active carrier.

Everybody knows the O2x version will not work on the G2x. Also a leak from LG. Don't think so.

Sure, I'd try it. I liked Remics for that very reason, despite others hate of the touchwiz, I like the feel of it better than any other launcher out there. Remics has a random reboot problem though, so I'd like to try yours.

I think the allshare app is just like wifi calling it is heavily dependant upon proprietary Samsung things that are built into the stock kernel and stock rom. Not saying its impossible but highly unlikely it will work on a custom rom that is not stock based.

I didn't find SVoice that usefull for the amount of space it takes up and uninstalled it on Remics.
If you're good with the Aroma installed, you can setup a customized install to choose what to install or not install. I like the ones that let you keep your kernel, modem, etc.
