Seems like nearly the same apps from the 10 cent sale. Hopefully Minecraft goes back up.

OP, thanks for the heads up. Even though I use Kingsoft Office for excel/word/pdf/ppt, I see that OfficeSuite6 Pro is available today for 0.25c Normally $14.99. May switch back to OfficeSuite6 at this price.

I picked up the OfficeSuite App, even though I have no practical use for it now. I definitely see myself picking up an Android tablet in the future and something like this would be quite useful.

Yeah the OfficeSuite Pro 6 + is the only thing I purchased so far, I bought the hell out of applications back when they had the .10c sale, unless the deals ramp up I don't see myself buying many things this time around.

I really hope they end up putting LogMeIn Ignition on this sale. I use that on my computer and I love it but having to pay $30 for their app is simply ludicrous. I was super pissed when it was like that for iOS and then it went on sale for 50% off so naturally I jumped on it then like less than a month later they released a free version of the app.

Personally I've been a fan of logmein I've always used splashtop

Ehhh.. nothing really of interest for me. World of Goo and Cut the Rope are nice but that's about it.

Picked up World of Goo and Paper Camera. Might grab Doubletwist, but I kind of like Alarm Clock Xtreme.

Still looks nearly the same as the 10 cent sale.

I'm hoping that like the 10ยข sale the apps change periodically. Nothing really interesting to me right now.

I'm sure it will be almost exactly like the 10 cent sale. Except more people are paying attention..
I didn't notice the 10cent sale. I've picked up Tasks, World of Goo, and DoubleTwist. 75 cents. Why are you complaining about a sale.

Paper Camera is pretty cool. I bought it when it was full price and use it quite a bit. Nothin' else on today's list really excites me. #bummed

Yeah unfortunately I bought almost every. App at full price before this sale pretty crappy. Lol

Updated again. HD Widgets on today's list, as are a couple of good-looking office/photo apps and a couple of decent game.

TunIn Radio Pro is a steal at 25 cents. I haven't used HD Widgets, but I bet it's a good deal too. I've used Beautiful Widgets for a long time and it was worth full price.. Also, you just HAVE to try Monsters Ate My Condo. ZombieSmash is a winner, too.

Nice.
There's also a boatload of dollar games at the Apple App Store for the iPhone and iPad. I think there was 40 games on sale for today. Most of them were $1. Sega and Namco had some $2 to $4 games...normally around $6.

so it's not gpu support. probably has to do with the game data files. like mentioned above. there may be some sort of registration that goes on with that. it may work if you steel the files from the captivate, but it's prolly too late now since you already paid.
Yeah, no biggie at a buck, however had these been have to haves and 5 bucks each I would have researched the issue before purchasing

Okay...I just installed Nova 2 HD on my Inspire 4G and it won't play. It plays the opening movie and then goes back to the app drawer. I went to the Gameloft Facebook page to report it but they keep deleting my comment. I went to the Gameloft Twitter page to tweet it, but they delete the tweet immediately.
Looks like Gameloft has seen the only $1.98 they'll ever get from me. And I will be advertising about them everywhere.
It shows them as $4.99 now...

Chameleon Launcher working on phone!

Anyone seen this? Saw a YouTube video.. looks cool.
Any idea if we can make this compatible with our phones? I know its a small screen, but I think it would still be fun.

It looks like tablets only... Says its compatible for my tablet but not the infuse. We could try, but those widgets look like they would be too big, only fitting like two on each screen.
$10.00 - 3 star user reviews - for tablets - think I'll pass.
Got it working
http://chameleonlauncher.com/widgets/makeawidget/
Here it tells you how to make your own custom widgets..
Its definitely not ideal running it on the smaller screen. But very different and cool to try out.
I could see how this could be an awesome launcher on a larger screened tablet!

That's quite interesting - nice job getting it to work! I really like the look from the screenshots you and others have posted of this launcher. It seems like a very nice cross between most current Android launchers and Windows Phone 7 launcher... but just the good parts!
I agree though, it's a bit tough to swallow $10 for most apps, especially since this was on Kickstarter which means people donated cash to get it developed... I wonder how much money the developers have ponied up out of their own pockets...
Either way, that's a nice looking launcher - I'm interested to see where it goes in the future!
I didn't pay $10.
Just testing it out. It's actually really nice after changing the DPI. Much more use able. I especially like how you can set different home pages and set times or locations for them to show up. For example home and work, you can set different layouts and have them automatically switch when your at that location or a set time. Very useful!

Completely different! Sizeable widgets take up most of the page. You can make your own custom widgets too. With the DPI set at 160 you can get three icon shortcuts on the bottom, but you can swipe left or right to show hidden ones.

Hopefully they didn't have to give up any of their own money, that's kind of the beauty of kickstarter for projects such as this. Just because it was crowd funded it doesn't mean it needs to be free to those who didn't donate a thing.

I definitely agree with this statement. Why should the developers have to put up a single cent of their money? In the real world developers get paid for the work that they do. The beauty of Android is that these developers can come home from work and develop an app either for fun or on the side for extra income. Tons of quality apps get distributed either for free or for a minimal fee. Don't get spoiled by that. This is a quality app that is aiming to be the center of your phone on a daily base.
If this was another free app people would be lauding the developers for their hard work and anticipating what this app could become with further development. I'm sure plenty of people would be willing to donate at least $10 or more via a donate link. They are simply asking for money so that they can focus more time towards the development of an application that they believe people will get more than $10 worth of usage out of.
Think about what that money from kickstarter purchased? It wasn't code... you can't just go out and purchase the code for your app. Kickstarter gives developers the money they need so that they can have an income for their coding work. If a developer wants Android app development to be his/her main focus then they either need to already have a hit app on the market before they quit their day job, take out a loan so that they can support themselves while they develop their hit idea, or crowd source to fund the app. Yeah, as it was stated "people donated cash to get it developed", but as I see it those people kickstarted this app so that they could see it become a reality and get their hands on it. Not so other people could get it cheaper.
Now is the $10 price range for everyone? no. But I don't see how it could be considered priced out of proportion. If the user plans on using this app on a daily basis, and see regular development of new features then they are definitely getting their money out of it. I've seen teenagers with no income drop 5-10x that amount on a piece of software, albeit those are usually games, but productivity software usually comes with a higher price tag anyways. Would I like to see the price of this software drop in half? Definitely, but I can still respect that it has enough value in the application for the price tag to be warranted.
Onto the main subject of this post. I'm currently testing v1.1 out on my old T-Mobile G2 running JB. Even though it's an older phone this app runs beautifully on it. DPI definitely had to be adjusted for this tablet oriented app to run fit properly on my phone (set it at 160 from 240), but once that is done everything fits nearly perfect. The only qualm I have with running this on a phone is the dock. Hopefully with further development they will come out with a phone version that allows a bit more customization on the dock. I'm only able to get three icons to appear at a time (six in landscape) due to everything being compressed down to my smaller screen size. Mix in some of Nova/Apex launcher's dock features and this app would be prime for phone use. I just installed this on my phone last night, so I'll get back to everyone once I have a better feel on how this launcher works out on day to day use in a phone environment.
I see Dots!
I prefer Circle Launcher light. It's free, customizable and I like the circles.... :highfive:

Works perfectly for me. You just need to pic a photo sized correctly to work.
I can never get over people who complain about a < $2 app they would use every day on their $500 tablet. No offense but don't be so damned cheap.
I don't think it's about cheapness. Some people weigh value against cost. I'm one; it's not that I'm cheap, I spent thousands of dollars in electronics each year to satisfy my tech cravings.
However, when it comes to value then it is a different thing. I'm not into pretty widgets, themes, icon packs and live wall papers. These are worthless and server no purpose other than aesthetics, IMO. Even those low-weigh-on-CPU worthless stuff and even if my tablet has butt loads of spare CPU juice and super extra RAM; even if the software in question only puts a 0.1% load on my tablet I don't want it, even if it's free.
I've had this philosophy even back in my iPhone days, I've had most them and things like WinterBoard, low weight, pretty on the eyes, and free... I don't want it.

What apps made you burst out finding that it was totally unworthy buying it from Google Play?
Apps that are totally unworthy of the price or apps that are total crap!

VLC Streamer, literally 5 months after buying it, they stopped development on that specific APK name (renamed display name with "(old)" on the end), relaunched it under a different APK name (same display name as original in the store), and want more money now for 'new' verison which is just a rework and upgrade. Same here. Used to always purchase horrible horrible apps from the Apple App Store. Worst one I remember was when I first got an ipad and purchased Weather HD because it had high reviews. Turned out to be the most useless app. All it did was display four or so generic live images for weather standard weather conditions. Would have refunded it if I could have.

I'm not sure why people are bragging that they don't buy apps. Are you telling me there aren't a few apps that you use that are worth the $0.99 that it costs to buy most of them? You are getting days or weeks of hard work for pennies. This is exactly why a lot of devs code for the iPhone and refuse to port to Android!
Anyway, Audio Manager Pro is my biggest waste of money. It used to work, but now it randomly resets the volume levels on reboot.

The hard work of many developers is worth buying. Some apps are so great and devs offer it for a very low price.
But there are some crap apps too! Sold at higher price and worthless.

I bought SketchBook Pro and Camscanner. If you have the slightest interest in drawing, I highly recommend Sketchbook, it is really fun to use. I also bought Swiftkey for my phone, something I had been meaning to do. I am interested in good productivity apps if anyone has a good suggestion.
I bought Swype and Multiwindow Pro. I purchased the majority of the apps I wanted or needed with the Nexus 7 credit last fall. I might buy the HD version of camscanner.
I definitely recommend getting OfficeSuite Pro and a good reading app. I purchased MoonReader for entertainment reading and ezPDF for classes. I print out my slides as a PDF for class then annotate it using ezPDF.

Assuming I can transfer my apps from my old device (this will only be my second android device), then the only thing that i'd really like is a good office suite.
I have Office Suite Pro and Polaris Office on my Transformer. Not used either extensively though and neither get the best of reviews.
Quick Office Pro is meant to be good though.
I have no idea. I got $25 twice on my Nexus 7...no idea why, but I didn't look a gift horse in the mouth. I still have like $26 of that $50 left and now I got another $25. I imagine I will eventually use it all, but I don't need a thing at the moment.
