Hello,
I have been looking around and I can't seem to find how to make a custom ROM from source. Thanks for any help.

There are plenty of guides but it depends on the device you want to build for, what source you want yo build from.. Oh and what OS you want to use (but im guessing you are talking about android)

You will need a 64bit linux install (ubuntu is recommended) and 16GB of RAM+SWAP is recommended (and swap should be about twice your ram so 6GB RAM then a 10GB swap partition would be best)

You need to create a swap partition on your harddrive using the likes of gpart.
Then as long as its enabled in the kernel it should kick in

Look on the oxygen and matrix forums. There may be a problem with the ramdisk.

It's funny that you're saying that, because I was downloading right now this kernel and Domination!
BTW, can i use Domination Rom with Kernel (Or can i use any kernel with any rom?)
You should be able to use Jarvis with any ICS RoM, but I haven't personally tried it

So, I want to share my results:
I'm now on ICS Domination with Harsh Kernel. I can toggle the USB if I want it to charge only, automatic or DATA. It the thing that I wanna do. Only bad thing : it's not on GB

restore some backup files using cwm..?
if you dont have any backup when you are in GB stock rom...
use the one click lumins guide...
So could I use someone else's backup and get back to GB without using one click because I was almost certain you need a computer to use one click since I'm on JB.

you need to one-click. There is no other way back to gb.
Thx I just wanted to make sure I was not missing something

He's not talking about RAM, more like data partition. Download mount2sd from play store. Before you do make sure you have a 1gb ext4 partition on your sd card as a second partition. This can be done in 4ext
