Im running FrankenstainMod on my SL, is it possible to swap external Sd card with internal? If yes how can i do it?

I'm with the frankenstainMOD too, but I really don't know if swap of the memory is possible.

Yes, use the hack kit....Is not in xda anymore but Is still ON the game. Is the only working tool in town. To find it follow my signature...:good:

Why do you have to find a spare SD?
Procedure says process will make SD card a golden card for S-off. I might be wrong but it appears that the S-off command needs to get put on the SD card before it gets activated and allows root. Or is that wrong?

I also thought it would make my sd card unusable afterwards. However, that was not the case, you can use it with no issues.

Problem is my SD card is in my Samsung with lots on it. Didn't want to chance losing that data.

ok, there´s no need to use a different sdcard. The hack kit does not touch the information in it and after the whole process is done it wipes de goldcard from it...you don´t need to keep either.
I have run the kit with my current sdcard and there´s no need to change it...make a back up just for precaution, but it does not format it....

Yep, the only fact that u have to take into consideration is that the sdcard needs not to be corrupted...otherwise it will fails to work as a goldcard.

Im sorry if this has been asked before, but im on cm10 jb superlite, and my external card is in mnt/external_sd, and the poweramp cant find any music, which i put on the external card. So is there any way to put the external_sd back to its original place in sdcard/external_sd ? Thank you for your help

Why not just make poweramp look in the external_sd instead if mnt/external_sd

Go into power amp setting and change the folder. To where you put your music although I am a big CM fan that was one of the main reason why I don't use it that much. Anymore

in my experience poweramp doesnt play too well with symlinks. try to use true paths if possible.

I used link 2 sd and created a partition on my sd card...EXT4 but my device is rooted...you could try it non rooted? Not sure if it would work?
How do u create a partition on sd card?
And ext 4 ?

Yep, I read a lot of stuff before making my first post and this was one of the things I wanted as well.

I've yet to root mine since there are conflicting reports on various different versions/roms with problems reading sd cards.
darkmans's 4.1.2 stock-deodexed for 8000 looks good but smaw's 8010 fix is only available for 4.1.1 :crying:
The title explains it all, I need a way of expanding my USB storage in my phone, so I can install games, I've looked at SD swap and I can't find anything relavent... I'm on CM9 Alpha 14

Expanding USB Storage? I don't know how, but if you say swap SD Card with external SD Card, i know how (maybe).
Try using Topdroid's vold.fstab tweak, maybe that will work. If you are on CM10, i can give the app that always work.
Its okay now, cm9 has an option to basically set the ext SD as USB storage

So I just got a SD card an I tried to move app2sd an it says this device don't have a external storage? Could so,Rome please explain if you would be so kind..1st Samsung device always have HTC an Asus. Never had any problem like this on those that's why I'm confused.
My understanding is that Samsung (hardware thing so not fixable) prevents apps2sd for external SD on most devices. I think there is a workaround involving linking the ext to int folders.
