Hi, I wonder if anyone's been this same problem:
Whenever I try to install apps that have a file size that's more than 14mb I would always get the error message: We cannot connect to Marketplace right now. Check your data connections or try again later.
I'm using WiFi so I know that I'm connected to the internet. I managed to find a solution (but only for paid apps). I noticed that I always have to download the trial version of the app for it to finish installing and downloading then buy it afterwards. (I noticed this when I bought a new Windows Phone and had to redownload my past purchases.)
Unfortunately, this cannot be done for free apps. I checked answers.microsoft and the only reply I got was to check and recheck my connection. If anybody has any ideas or solutions, that would be super.
My handset is the Nokia Lumia 800. And the OS version is 7.10.8773.98 while the firmware version is 1750.0805.8773.12220
Try turning off your data connection by going into Cellular settings and then just have WIFI enabled and try again! Sometimes, even if WIFI is enabled, your phone might try and use the data connection.
I rarely turn my data connection on, but all the same, I turned it on then turned it back off again. I also have data connection turned off by default. It would seem I'm the only one with this problem...I sure hope it has nothing to do with the phone itself...

Hi guys,
My wifi/3G problem started with the 8107 update (Omnia7, not KK2), and i read about others have the same issue too.
The wifi connects to my home/work wlan, and strangely sometimes (but that's rare) working, and get pages to load on, but after a while it still shows the connection, but can't load any page in IE.
After i have done a hard reset, and reverted back to 7740, i don't got any problem to connect to my home wifi. I decided to update one more time to 8107. (If something will go wrong then I have a backup of my Omnia7 with WP7 Easy Backup).
@8107 the wifi keeps giving errors if 3G data connection and wifi is also turned on!
If i switch off and back the data connection switch (!!), then the wlan works again for a while. If i switch data totally off then works flawlessly.
I think the problem is only appearing if the 3G and Wifi is also switched on (maybe the OS doesn't handle properly the network settings in this situation)
Any workaround for that?
Maybe a homebrew, that can switch off data connection temporarily, if the phone is connected to a wifi network, and after disconnecting it will switching back. But I think if it can be done, than just on fully-unlocked roms (i have Omnia7, and unfortunately DFT SammyRainbow is not ready yet)
Or are there any registry entry that I can use to set this?
So any suggestions what to do?
I second that. Exactly the same behavior on HTC 7 Mozart since 8107 :-(
Happening to me too, Optus branded Omnia 7, 8107. WiFi works fine as soon as I turn data off, but its getting really annoying!
Have you guys interop unlocked? Im wondering if its related to that.
So, before rooting, my One X had great Wifi connection. No issues. Now that I'm rooted, I can't connect to wifi to save my life. I tried the wifi fix (not the ROM, but the 3 files instead) and still nothing.
I've tried turning off Mobile Network while wifi was on, turning mobile network on while wifi was on, tried restarting the wifi....
I cannot get a connection to the Store, browsers won't open webpages, it's essentially done for. Yet every other device in my house can access the router just fine (and it's not just here, it's elsewhere.)
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this short of flashing the new ROM (which I can't do from my house since the HTC drivers always fail to install.)
Have you tried running fix permissions to see if there's some sort of error holding things up? The only other thing I could think to do is to do a factory restore of the phone, unfortunately...
I’m currently using AOKP Jellybean 4.1.2, the supposedly stable, reliable milestone version found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1804223
I'll try to be as thorough as possible in hopes that someone will respond and know what to do. I apologize in advance for being long-winded.
I didn’t have any issues last night when I first flashed the rom. I was able to watch youtube videos using the mobile data. I was also able to turn on wifi to sync some files from my dropbox to my phone, and then turn off the wifi with no issues. However, today after connecting to a wifi network to download a few things and browse the web, I disconnected from the wireless network and the mobile data curiously did not start up again. I DO have cellular service (3-4 bars), and I can make phone calls and check my voicemail by pressing and holding 1 on the keypad, but my mobile data doesn’t work. I looked around for some solutions, and I've since restarted my device several times, tried toggling airplane mode on and off, and did several combinations of reboots with airplane on/off and no dice.
Everytime I use the toggle in the notificaton bar area to turn off wifi, my internet connection goes with it. It says “no internet connection” in the notification background at the bottom of the screen. Once I turn wifi on, I get my internet back and it says “at&t” at the bottom, but I don’t actually get mobile data because apps like “At&t Visual Voicemail” which require mobile data to function don’t work.
I tried flashing the 1.85 radio to see if it would connect to mobile data, and same issue persisted after reboot and dalvik/cache clean. After that failed, I flashed the 2.20 radio + RIL zip files seperately (which is what I understand came with the rom), and still no dice.
For reference, my HTC One X was rooted with 1.73 firmware (I never tried to update it until last night). I did the CID spoof method to unlock my bootloader, and installed the newest version of TWRP on it. I flashed the rom and the gapps package. I used TiBu to restore program settings and a handful of my out of market apps, and the rest of my purchased apps downloaded automatically from the market after connecting with my google account. I had literally just finished reinstalling the last of my apps today via wifi when this issue started to happen.
I'd really prefer a practical method of getting this fixed that doesn't involve starting over with a fresh rom install. Reflashing at this point would be something of a nuisance since I don’t have much free time to begin with. And hey, it took a long time to load up all of my apps just right
However, if there is no other fix that anyone is aware of, I guess I could reflash or in the worst case try a different rom. It’s a shame because the rom otherwise is really smooth and runs great on the phone, in addition to not using a whole lot of resources and having a decent battery life.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions and solutions.
Here is an image of my battery drain screen showing what my mobile data is supposedly doing despite not being able to get a true data connection. Even with my wifi off, there is supposedly medium mobile signal.
And attached is another image of what happens when I turn my wifi off. I pulled the notification pane down and you can see that it says "no internet connection" at the bottom. Also, you can't really see it in that cap, but the mobile data bars behind the notification area are colored white, and there isn't any "H+", "4G", or "LTE" notifiers visible.
Edit: Attached a third image showing the "white" signal bars (i.e. no data connection). Yes, my mobile data is turned on, and I'm obviously not in airplane mode.
I figured it out eventually for anyone interested... Apparently the APN were not set. They existed on the APN list but were not visible due to a glitch in the ROM I guess. I had to add a custom APN and then the other ones suddenly appeared.
Thanks anyway.

Try a different WiFi connection or use something like Hotspot Shield VPN from the Play Store... 919 indicates the app can't install after download, typically due to space, dalvik error, or a restricted data connection and since the first two seem unlikely in your case, try the 3rd, switch to a different WiFi connection, verify APN settings for mobile data, or try a VPN to a known good network.
Thanks. I am using the wifi network at home. It worked two months ago but after I came back from another country, I got this error. What can I do to my own home network? By trying a VPN to a known good network, do you mean after logging on to my home wifi network, try to connect to another network using VPN? I tried it but the error remains.
Odd... Are stock or on a custom ROM and which one?
Stock one. I solved the problem by factory resetting.
That was my next step... Glad you got it working.
Hi All,
my Moto g7 power is unlocked and has LOS18 (lineage-18.1-20210814-nightly-ocean) installed.
I am seeing the following behavior for some time now:
The mobile data connection of my phone works fine and the LOS-Toolbar is also showing the correct icon for the available data connection.
When turning the mobile data connection off and after some time back on again the mobile data connection works and is available.
(The mobile access to the internet is actually available and most apps are working fine)
But the toolbar-icon is still showing the little "x" which would mean that no data connection is available, or at least the OS somehow thinks that no connection is available.
Additionally some apps are not working properly since they rely on the OS info if a data/internet connection is available or not.
So these apps simply say "no internet connection", and don't work.
I can just fix this problem by doing a restart of the phone.
Maybe somethings going wrong with the captive-portal check of LOS or sth similar, I don't know.
Is anyone else maybe experiencing this issue?
Would be great to get some help here.
Thanks in advance!
Cheers
