Does this problem occurs randomly or only inside some apps?

Well, sometimes it stops when i'm just browsing the internet and sometimes when i unlock my pad i see that the clock is not working XD
So no,its not application specific...

in asus roms.
to fix this you can install seanzscreams's hydro rom based on official asus jb, but tweaked rooted etc...

Every time I open it, I see my location, then a white screen and then it closes. I force stopped, uninstalled and reinstalled and it still happens. Anyone else having this issue..
I just noticed that it only happens in landscape mode.

Try Clearing data and cache.

I've also had those same problems. They dont happen all the time but nonetheless when they do happen it annoys the heck out of me. I've just learned to live with it. Hopefully JellyBean corrects the problem.
Same happens to me. Google maps just crashes constantly and is generally unusable. I'll try to clear data and cache and see if that solves anything.
Mine works great, I cached a 4 hour road trip and used it for navigation yesterday.
clearing the cache is not available. I opened Maps in portrait mode and it works fine. After opening that way, i tried landscape again, and it now seems to work.
i was trying to do this cool feature i found. Go to maps, find a location, tap it, and the go to street view. after in street view, click the menu and choose Compass Mode. You will be able to tour the location by moving the tablet around. And its nice and clear as well

I just cleared all the data and cache and it seems to be working just fine now...
I'm noticing that I have to restart my tablet often when I want to use Google Maps otherwise the app will force close on me back to the home screen when I launch it.
I know I can't be the only one experiencing this issue.

You would probably get more responses in the Infinity forum, which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1661
Personally, I haven't had any issues with Maps force closing (or any apps FCing, really). Is Maps updated to the latest version? If so, try wiping the apps data and cache under Settings > Apps > Maps and see if that helps.

whoops, didn't realize I posted this in the Prime board.
Mods, do you magic and please move this thread.
yep, i experienced this as well. especially in landscape mode.

Here is how I have solved it on mine for the time being.
1. Clear cache, data and uninstall updates from apps
2. Shut down infinity and restart holding down volume down and power to instigate a cold boot (clears cache)
3. You can try maps if you want but I then installed the upgrades from the market and it has worked fine since.
My Google maps is also very much broken and crashes all the time... Very annoying.

From what I've read, the Maps issue is mostly due to the well-known "OpenGL Out Of Memory" issue, which exists on all of Asus' ICS releases (even on the TF101). This "bug" causes all sorts of instability in a lot of apps including Maps and Gmail. Any time you start having issues, just open a terminal window and type this to see if that is your problem:
logcat -d|grep -i opengl
Usually, you'll see the OpenGL out of memory errors...
Unfortunately, other that waiting for the Jelly Bean update (which, from my understanding, *does* fix this issue), there really isn't much you can do other than rebooting the device - that will get rid of the problem for a few days until it comes back.... It's a really bad bug that Asus never addressed in ICS, for whatever reason...

Hi
I don't know why I start getting random reboots after the 9.4.5.30 update, does anyone have similar issue? Is it a way to check what causes the reboot?
Thank you
No reboots but seems that I can't play any games anymore. They crash almost immediately

Aarrghhhh!!! I can confirm this.
After updating to .30 "Virtua Tennis" and "Fishing Superstars" are crashing randomly. Oh no...that's bad, ASUS!
I had the same issue with reboots after updating to the .30 update. I did a factory rest through the stock bootloader and haven't had it happen since.

Thanks for the hint. Factory reset currently in progress... :fingers-crossed:
EDIT:
Didn't solved the problem. I wiped the device three times but still the same issue:
e.g. in "Fishing Superstars" there are two different things:
the app closes randomly (back to home screen). The app is still listed in the task list.
the screen flashes with the last image displayed. The sound is still playing and the game is still running (different sounds). Moving to homescreen and go back via task list restarts the app.
No1. also occurs in "Need for Speed: Hot Persuit" and "Virtua Tennis".
Looks like that the problem only occurs when the game graphics significantly changes...
But I didn't had the problems BEFORE updating to .30.
I don't like these kind of "stability fixes". Any ideas?
Hi,
Since the 10.4.4.20 update (stock/no root), Asus weather widget fails to update. Clearing data, disable/enable the widget does not resolve the issue. Has anyone else the same problem?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T
I had that problem already with ICS. My solution was to remove the applet and look out of the window instead.
It's been doing that since all 3 of the Jelly Bean updates.
Same here

It only seems to update with GPS on.
asus weather widget update fix
Just disable the auto refresh location option and manually add your location.then save it and to check the fix just refresh manually once and you will see that its working now.mine working fine now. Just give it a go and may be it will work for you as well. Thanks

Hey folks - used my dock for the first time in a long time, and it seems that since the latest Google Keyboard update, I get "Unfortunately, Google Keyboard has stopped" every 30 seconds or so in any app. I'm running the latest Cromi-X (5.1 I believe). Anyone else seeing this behaviour? I think it's related to the keyboard dock... switching keyboard defaults and clearing data doesn't seem to do anything...
Thanks in advance!

I *just* went thru the same problem.
Go to Settings -> Apps, find Google Keyboard, and clear BOTH cache and app data.
Do the same for Dictionary Provider. I then rebooted, not sure that's necessary.
Fixed it for me.
