Every time I open it, I see my location, then a white screen and then it closes. I force stopped, uninstalled and reinstalled and it still happens. Anyone else having this issue..
I just noticed that it only happens in landscape mode.

Try Clearing data and cache.

I've also had those same problems. They dont happen all the time but nonetheless when they do happen it annoys the heck out of me. I've just learned to live with it. Hopefully JellyBean corrects the problem.
Same happens to me. Google maps just crashes constantly and is generally unusable. I'll try to clear data and cache and see if that solves anything.
Mine works great, I cached a 4 hour road trip and used it for navigation yesterday.
clearing the cache is not available. I opened Maps in portrait mode and it works fine. After opening that way, i tried landscape again, and it now seems to work.
i was trying to do this cool feature i found. Go to maps, find a location, tap it, and the go to street view. after in street view, click the menu and choose Compass Mode. You will be able to tour the location by moving the tablet around. And its nice and clear as well

I've searched the forums and have not found anyone posting about this issue, so sorry if this is a duplicate. Also, this is my first tablet so I'm not sure if this is a known issue with Asus tablets.
Twice now I've had all of my icons disappear from my home screen. There's nothing there but the wallpaper and the screens will not scroll left or right. The task bar still works, so I can open notifications, display open programs and so on. The keyboard shortcuts still work, so I can enter settings and open the browser, but each time I return to the home screen nothing is there. I know the screen still responds to touch because if I press in the upper right corner of the screen I can still enter the apps tray.
The first time this happened I was taking the tablet out of the keyboard dock. The screen loaded without unlocking it and there were no icons. The second time I was using the just the tablet, brought it out of sleep mode, and the same thing happened. The only remedy I've found is powering the device off.
Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Mate, this has happened to me a few times as well. Most likely caused by an incompatibilty between your launcher and a widget or application. For me it was Pulse and a battery monitor widget. After deleting the offending applications I have not had the issue reoccur.

Interesting. I'm not using a third party launcher, just the stock one. I wonder which widget or app is causing the problem? I'm not using allot of widgets. Just the stock e-mail ones, music player, FB, Google+, Flixster, and the time and weather widget. I was using the Beautiful Widget but I just didn't like how it looked on my tablet for some reason so I removed it a while ago.
Thanks for the input!

hay Mykew how do you know witch apps are the one's that cause this problem cause i get the same thing on my tablet and i got it before the update
to .26 and after any help would be appreciated
:silly:
Can be a bit tricky to figure out which app is hurting you (buggy ones can fc or freeze the stock browser too), particularly if you have heaps of apps on. One way to go about it is to think of what the likely culprits are (Pulse, widgets, google+ can be a bugger too) and use a program like titanium backup to 'freeze' the application (or you can just systematically delete them if you prefer to use more time). Put the browser through it's paces till you find out that it isn't screwing up any more.
Force closing the launcher (Settings -> Apps -> running processes or whatever it's called) shoud help.
I was having that issue regularly. Trial and error determined it was the dual battery widget causing the issues (or just coincidence that when I uninstalled the widget, the issues stopped).
It still happens, rarely, so I suppose it wasn't just that widget, but with the widget it happened constantly.
Now when it happens (maybe once a week or two) I just FC the launcher and all is well.
Interesting, some people were reporting issues with the Dual Battery Widget, I'm running it on the main screen all the time, however, and it's been just fine since the .26 update (earlier I was getting random reboots in various apps which could be not app-specific). Wonder what's the real case.
actually i get this too only when i change from landscape to portrait, back to landscape then portrait about 5 times and then apps dissappear.
Dual battery widget works fine for me too. It's all about bit voodoo witch doctory atm.

I'm noticing that I have to restart my tablet often when I want to use Google Maps otherwise the app will force close on me back to the home screen when I launch it.
I know I can't be the only one experiencing this issue.

You would probably get more responses in the Infinity forum, which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1661
Personally, I haven't had any issues with Maps force closing (or any apps FCing, really). Is Maps updated to the latest version? If so, try wiping the apps data and cache under Settings > Apps > Maps and see if that helps.

Here is how I have solved it on mine for the time being.
1. Clear cache, data and uninstall updates from apps
2. Shut down infinity and restart holding down volume down and power to instigate a cold boot (clears cache)
3. You can try maps if you want but I then installed the upgrades from the market and it has worked fine since.
My Google maps is also very much broken and crashes all the time... Very annoying.

From what I've read, the Maps issue is mostly due to the well-known "OpenGL Out Of Memory" issue, which exists on all of Asus' ICS releases (even on the TF101). This "bug" causes all sorts of instability in a lot of apps including Maps and Gmail. Any time you start having issues, just open a terminal window and type this to see if that is your problem:
logcat -d|grep -i opengl
Usually, you'll see the OpenGL out of memory errors...
Unfortunately, other that waiting for the Jelly Bean update (which, from my understanding, *does* fix this issue), there really isn't much you can do other than rebooting the device - that will get rid of the problem for a few days until it comes back.... It's a really bad bug that Asus never addressed in ICS, for whatever reason...

Hi
I don't know why I start getting random reboots after the 9.4.5.30 update, does anyone have similar issue? Is it a way to check what causes the reboot?
Thank you
No reboots but seems that I can't play any games anymore. They crash almost immediately

Aarrghhhh!!! I can confirm this.
After updating to .30 "Virtua Tennis" and "Fishing Superstars" are crashing randomly. Oh no...that's bad, ASUS!
I had the same issue with reboots after updating to the .30 update. I did a factory rest through the stock bootloader and haven't had it happen since.

Thanks for the hint. Factory reset currently in progress... :fingers-crossed:
EDIT:
Didn't solved the problem. I wiped the device three times but still the same issue:
e.g. in "Fishing Superstars" there are two different things:
the app closes randomly (back to home screen). The app is still listed in the task list.
the screen flashes with the last image displayed. The sound is still playing and the game is still running (different sounds). Moving to homescreen and go back via task list restarts the app.
No1. also occurs in "Need for Speed: Hot Persuit" and "Virtua Tennis".
Looks like that the problem only occurs when the game graphics significantly changes...
But I didn't had the problems BEFORE updating to .30.
I don't like these kind of "stability fixes". Any ideas?
I''m just now installing JB. It didn't seem to run as smoothly as I expected so I''ve done a complete factory reset. I'm having a little trouble getting the weather widget to run . It keeps saying there' s no connectivity yet I know my WiFi is up and running . I''m also downloading all my apps, so everything is kind of slow right now. I thing I''ll be using Apex Launcher since the default launcher still doesn't have many features. It also doesn't us all the possible screen real estate.
Looks like I finally got the weather widget set correctly. It took a factory reset but I think a factory reset is the way to go for this new softwear update. I''ll update after all my apps finish downloading.
I didn't factory reset and mine already runs amazing. Not sure if I necessarily see need for it.
Got my factory reset all done and downloaded all my Google Play apps. I'm getting a constant notification that I have a Google Chrome update but everytime it trys to download, I get an error. It says something about "cannot download due to server error.
Everything else seemed to download pretty quickly. I am using Wizz widgets and have noticed that I cannot log in to the Facebook or Twitter wideget unless I have both applications on my tablet and have already logged into them! Not sure that's the way it always worked.
I did install Apex Launcher and it's running pretty smoothly. The only problem is that I cannot get the weather widget to showup after a reboot! I'll need to work on that. I have also noted that some of the app lists don't seem to scroll as smoothly as before or as I would expect. I did have one Apex Launcher crash so far but it recovered pretty quickly.
My TF700's been running JB for only a little while. I"ve shut it down and restarted a couple of times just to see if it gets better. Time will tell. Now to try out Netflix and Hulu+ to see if they work OK.
All is well with my update, I suppose. Had to disable Browser2ram. Kept getting permissions notifications, over and over.
Biggest issue fro me so far: I no longer have a power control widget. What's up with that?
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T
We'll so far everything is working just great. I've looked at a Netflix movie, Hulu+ movie, and viewed a number of YouTube vids and all ran very smoothly. No stuttering or anything. I also noticed that Netflix scrolling is smooth the way it should be. I've ran both the default browser through a number of web sites and haven't experienced a single crash. The same with Boat browser. I finally got Chrome to complete it's update and I'll be giving it a try.
I still can't get the ASUS weather widget to stay on screen visible. Once I put it on my screen and then go to something else, I come back to an empty space. If I try to put something else there, it shows me the outline of the ASUS weather widget but there's nothing visible. Very strange. I've switched to HD widgets for now.
One thing I did notice with Jelly Bean, you can now place widgets from alternate launchers (Apex and Nova) from the widget drawer. You don't have to place them by holding down on a screen.
Everything seems to be smoothing out. I hope this keeps going as well as it has so far.
My wifi isn't as fast anymore, my phone with cm10 on it gets triple the download speeds using speedtest app side by side. My tablet a little bit of lag that it never had before. I did factory reset also.

So far so good. Loving jb on the 700. Everything seems to be working fine on mine hopefully everyone else is going good also.
To the person above with weather widget I had to fix my settings and that fixed it for me.

Didn't have to do a thing. Exemplary execution of the bean. Everything is smoothly operative.
If I run into anything while more deeply into an app I'll report back.
Thank you Asus.
Running great so far. Haven't tested much outside of the browser and come apps. Overall seems way better and smoother. About to stream it up to the tv so hope all goes well there...
So far so good. Only 1 reboot. Restored to factory. Reinstalled all software. A bit disappointed as I was hoping for better I/O performance and quadrant score. Device still sluggish when reading and writing to sd card.
Anyone tried Google Now?
Tried to trigger it after the update. I tried the unlock ring method as well as the press "Back", "Home", or "Recent" buttons with an upward swipe. I get the little google target. It starts for a split second, then I see the small popup at the bottom saying "network error. Check your connection...". The google search screen comes on and that's it.
Not rooted and I haven't done a factory reset yet as everything else seems to be working well and thought I would post here first to see if anyone else is having the issue.
Thanks, Jim
Games seems to be working well. I've never been able to play Nova 3 before it would always freeze and flicker. No longer. Runs well. Trying out MC3 now see if it gives me those known issues with getting disconnected in multiplayer mode.
Update: MC3 no longer disconnects during gameplay on multiplayer. JB has been a welcome change indeed.

Jelly Bean is a little sticky.....
Downloaded JB this morning and really happy to see Google Now, but didn't really see much of a speed improvement. Maybe cause it was fast already with ICS. Two things are a little confusing. I thought that JB was making the stock browser CHROME, well I still have the ICS stock browser and flash works fine. The other thing is that the tablet sometimes freezes at seemingly simply tasks and completely re-boots.
Do you think a factory reset would help?? Or is there a setting I need to tweak??

Hey folks - used my dock for the first time in a long time, and it seems that since the latest Google Keyboard update, I get "Unfortunately, Google Keyboard has stopped" every 30 seconds or so in any app. I'm running the latest Cromi-X (5.1 I believe). Anyone else seeing this behaviour? I think it's related to the keyboard dock... switching keyboard defaults and clearing data doesn't seem to do anything...
Thanks in advance!

I *just* went thru the same problem.
Go to Settings -> Apps, find Google Keyboard, and clear BOTH cache and app data.
Do the same for Dictionary Provider. I then rebooted, not sure that's necessary.
Fixed it for me.
