hi i need an app that can split the screen in 2 half where i can use 2 differents apps like the new galaxy note 10.1
onskreen was the ideal solution for this but was a bit sketchy and couldnt be developed further.
the only thing i can suggest is to look for "floating" versions of the type of app you need.
ie overskreen web browser, floating notes, super video.....otherwise i dunno

Hi there
I'm buying an Android tablet soon and I will be using it mainly for book reading.
I have a couple of questions about it for anyone that uses their tablet for it.
Is there ANY way to import your own eBook files into Google's new honeycomb book reading application? I'm not talking about uploading them to Google's servers, just dragging a book to a location on the tablet or something so that the application picks it up?
Are there any other good eBook readers that include a smooth animated page turn (like iPad eBook apps) and displays 2 pages rather than a single page paragraph? Optimized for tablets...
Nook has the two page view, BETTER page turn animations than the google app (and anything ive seen on ipad), and allows sideloading of epub files locally.

+1 for nook app. It looks good, it's super stable, and it sideloads easily.
I agree. The nook app is wonderful. 2 page looks fine if that's your thing, and the page turns look great. Also the best part in my mind is the ability to read books you purchased in original font. Though, since sideloading is your thing...you still get the best viewing features in Nook.

Is there a way to add more tabs to my browser,it only lets me open 4 tabs
You can download a third party browser like Dolphin HD (I prefer mini) from the android market.
I also like Dolphin HD as it lets me program Gesters for the commands I use the most saving alot of clicks but I think it is also limited in how many tabs at one time. Mind you I have not need more then 8 at one time yet and it did have all 8 open.
I am trying to find a good note taking app to go along with my GT-P6210, and I came across the Supernote app on the Asus Transformer. I have heard some great things about it, but I can't find it in the app market. Does anyone know if its compatible with the Tab 7 plus?
Also, if you know of any good note taking apps for a college environment, feel free to suggest. I am looking to be able to make bullets and sub bullets (something evernote cant do) and I would like to be able to write or draw directly into my notes with a stylus.
Evernote w/ skitch allows me to write/draw, but the downfall is that it groups all my drawings seperate from my notes.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Supernote is specific to that tablet but there is an extracted apk though it's not optimized for our tab. Search the forums for it.
You can try quill.

I looked up quill and I may be wrong, but it looks like you can only write. But I found a Supernote apk so ill try that out and let you guys know how it is.
It's working, but not fit to screen... deleted.
Supernote is such a good app...........but it doesn't fit the screen. The sidebar gets cut off so you can't use certain features. It would be amazing if it was optimized for our size tablets
I like Supernote so much I've adapted to using it on the GTP with parts of the app being off screen. I'm hoping that if Asus ever releases the Memo 7" tablet to market there will be a version of Supernote for it. They've teased it at the 2011 & 2012 CES.
alternative to supernote
The app that I use more is Catch Notes, cause it lets me syncro with my phone, but it is not on the same league.
Give GNotes a try. I just recently discover it. It has bullets, you can type, handwrite, attach a picture, a video or some sound.
But actually, I was so busy trying to find a good app, that I didn't realize how good the stock application included in the tablet is. I'm taking about the one that can be found in the bottom bar. You can attach pictures, you can synchronize (haven't try yet), you can write anyplace in the sheet, handwrite (better than GNotes) and it floats on top of the other windows, allowing you to take notes while you are reading an article, for example.

I totally agree with you. The stock app is totally good! It even syncs well with Google docs.

Hello everyone,
I bought the Note 10.1 about one month ago and am mostly satisfied with it, except for one point.
As a student, I use the SNote app a lot during lectures, and I like to import images from pdf presentations in my notes. The multiview is very handy for that, but the problem comes from Polaris (and possibly the multiview mechanics?).
1. Is there a way to change polaris fonts ? The texts and math formulas are displaying in a very ugly way. If I don't zoom, some letters are half-erased, sometimes the letters are not equally spaced within a word or sentence. In Adobe reader, it display fine as it would on any computer. This is annoying and sometimes unreadable... Is there a way to fix this somehow ?
2. When I'm done importing files, or any time I don't need the second window, I usually close the multiview. But that quits the app and I cannot resume where it was left. Pretty annoying when I have to reopen the same pdf 5 times during a lecture... Is there a way to make it so that the app just goes in the background without quitting ?
I am using a GT-N8010, 4.0.4, version number (if it's of any use) IMM76D.N8010XXALGC.
My Polaris version is 4.0.5002.33. I updated it recently to see if the above issues would be resolved, but unfortunately not.
Thanks in advance for your answers.

The only advice I can give is to be patient and wait for jellybean as I believe it fixes your problem with multi app view. I've seen demonstrations on YouTube where you can have lots of apps open and you can resize them to any size you want, including full screen. The other apps are still open in the background and you can bring them forward as needed.
Do a search for "galaxy note 10.1 jelly bean", and look for Zedomax multi window demo. I believe this is what you are asking for in your second question.

Hi guys, I've bought a samsung galaxy tab a 10.1 2016 (the model without the s pen) and an Adonit ADJD2B Jot Dash 2 on amazon, I'm searching for app that allow me to take note easily and to edit and write on pdf files.
what do you suggest?
Also I know that this pen is not a bluetooth pen, do you know any bluetooth pen that works with my tablet which include palm rejection function?
thanks for your help
After that I've tried many apps, no one of these is satisfying. The one that I prefer is INKredible but I've many problems like so much lag on scrolling pdf pages and sometimes don't read correctly pdf file that other apps loads normally.
Please suggest me something, I am searching apps like notability on ipad
Editing on pdf? I guess thats a no no.
