In my car I have Bluetooth hands free, so I can listen radio and the radio is mute when a call is coming or I do one. But when I use GPS app on my phone, the audio coming out from the phone speaker. I found some apps to stream the GPS voice to my hands free system, but that mute the music whatever the GPS talking or not.
So, what I want is I would still listen my radio and got it mute only when the GPS talk.
In other word, I would android stream audio to hands free bluetooth only when a sound on the phone happen.
Someone knows if it exist?

I have an HTC Touch Diamond running WM6.1 Pro, and TomTom 7.450. I also have a Pioneer CD-BTB200 bluetooth handsfree unit in the car offering A2DP support.
The setup works really well as a hands free phone. When the phone rings, the stereo will switch to the 'phone' source so the music is muted. When the call is finished it will switch back to the previous source and continue playing music.
As it supports A2DP, I can also play music and system sounds, including the TomTom voices thought the car stereo, as long as the stereo is set to 'bt audio' as its source. In which case it works great, but I am limited to the audio that I can play from the phone.
What I would like is to be able to listen to music on the stereo, ie; radio or cd or whatever, then when TomTom issues some directions, for the stereo to play the directions and then return to its previous state. This is obviously possible because thats how it works when the phone rings.
Does anyone know of any software that could do what I am looking for?
Or would anyone fancy attempting a little app that would do something like this? I'm assuming that if the TomTom voices could be played in the same way as an incoming phone call, then when TomTom issues a direction, the stereo would change to 'phone' the direction would sound, the the stereo would revert back to its previous source.
I would pay a few £/$/€ for something like this, and I'm sure a load of other people would too,

The trouble is that the only way to listen to tomtom through bluetooth is through a2dp, which is always on until you turn it off. Calls dont use a2dp, and are automatically switched on when needed which is what your handsfree unit detects.
One workaround would be to play your music on your phone, and then tomtom will just speak over it, but it means all your cds would have to be ripped to your phone, and your radio streamed over the internet.
Try this,(BTAudio)-it sends all audio via the bluetooth-I assume that the
A2DP stream will run over it.
If not try A2DPtoggle (but I think that is A2DP only)
You have to start the chosen BTaudio app first (make sure BT is already paired and on),then run any other programs.

Actually the only ones PPC's that are doing what you like to do are Asus P525, Asus P535 and LG KS20 because all three are working on Broadcom BT stack.
Why Microsoft still with their crap BT??? ... Who knows!!!
I have a Parrot MKI9000 that i use with Spotify in my Car, on A2DP. My device is a Desire with 2.2
Problem is that when listening music it's not possible to anwer phonecalls handsfree.
When a call comes in, the music will stop playing but the call wont go through the car speakers.
Is there any workaround, for instance would it somehow be possible to redirect the call to the handsfree set?
Any ideas are appreciated!
anyone know of an app or other way to get call audio through stereo bluetooth receiver? Most people want to go the other direction and get their music through ear piece or in car bluetooth calling. I want to use my stereo bt audio receiver to accept the mono audio from calls as well. This way i could use the phone hands free when connected to my stereo.
I found this discussion which indicates its not going to work. Interesting though cause i would think itd be an easy thing to just force the call audio through

I have tried 3 different phones including my latest an LG G3. Whenever the phones connect to my Subaru radio, and the audio source is selected as bluetooth, the phone will automatically open the last audio app I had running (Podcast Addict, MixZing, etc.) and start playing where it left off. I have looked all over for options and so far only found one to "not resume playback after phone call." While this prevents any audio playing when I hang up, I don't want audio to start playing just because my phone connected to the car's bluetooth either.
How do I disable this?! Hoping I can do it form the phone end. Saw no way to do it from the car's radio.

N7player has a setting called "Resume after Plugin" under Headset controls. I think that's what you're looking for. (Since it sees a bluetooth radio as a headset).
I think i have this problem too.
I have BBC iPlayer app, and I tend to use it to listen to live radio, over wi-fi when I wake up in the morning. Then I close the app and usually swipe it away.
When I drive I often use Google Maps or Sygic app as a Sat Nav, and connect the phone to my car stereo via Bluetooth so the audio is routed through the car stereo. Often I also listen to music from Google Music (downloaded only), and that works well, with the music being muted automatically for voice instructions. But when I don't want to listen to music, and just have the voice through the radio it keeps starting up BBC iPlayer Radio which then uses up my data allowance. If I wanted to listen to the radio I would use the car radio. Having read this thread I guess it is starting BBC iPlayer because it is the last audio app that was being used.
I noticed today that even if I stop the app, and swipe it away, if RDS TA (FM Traffic Announcements) break into the audio, when they end or I cancel them, the BBC iPlayer app starts up again.
I don't want to be having to keep stopping it while I am driving. I hoped there was some way of stopping it.

One of the issues I have with Bluetooth on this phone is that the controls aren't granular enough. I want to be able to make and answer phone calls in my car using the Bluetooth connectivity, however, when I turn Bluetooth on, Google Now and Maps also try to send their audio to the car speakers, and either A) you can barely hear the voice, or B) it doesn't work at all and I hear nothing (this is especially true when I'm playing other music media in the car that isn't coming from the phone).
Is there any way (or is there an app) that can redirect Google Now and Maps to continue to use the phone speaker, while phone calls can go through the car? Right now it seems like it's the same setting to control both phone calls and audio output from apps.
