Hey everyone,
I was wondering if there was a way to enable double click home to google now.
I know I can set it to long press menu to google now but it would be nice to just double click the home button.
Thanks for the help!
Settings - system - hardware keys - enable custom action - set long press home button to search assistant. Then I set long press menu key to the recent apps tasker cuz it was previously empty. This gives long press home key to Google Now and menu long press to tasker. It may be the closest thing you'll find.

I can not access the menu button (previously known as right click!). In my old phone (sony), there was a menu button (menu/home/back buttons) and some applications use that as right click menu. However, in the Galaxy A5, there is no such button.
Some websites say that you have to long press the "application list" button near the home key. In my A5, if I long press that button, a menu is opened for multi viewing the apps. So, I tried to disable the muultiwindow feature by downloading an app from the play store. Now the multiwindow feature is disabled, but still the long press of "application list" button doesn't bring up the menu button.
Any idea about that?
You have to long press the back button to bring up the menu.
Google Now Launching When Pressing Home Button Once.
Just update the Google app to version 7.0.13.21 .arm64
The update also disabled the double tap home button to quick launch the camera app.
Tried to use All in one Gestures app to modify the home key but still double tap home button didnt launch the camera even if the setting is activated.
Any advice?

By installing the Google beta version 7.1.25.16 .arm, clearing some memory and rebooting my phone. This seems to solved the problem I had with home key tap actions. Now the Google Launches by long pressing the home button, one press brings home screen and double press quick launches the camera.
Currently, it takes 5 clicks to do that: Click home button > Settings > Connections > Bluetooth > Toggle. I'm just wondering if there's a way to shorten that.
you can write an application that pops up the bluetooth on/off application.
then set the double-click home button to run your application.
When I first got the magic UI 2.1 update I looked everywhere to find out how to enable this feature as it was a feature I was really looking for. But couldn't find it until today. It's really easy to enable.
Go to settings -> search and click on motion control -> click on hivoice -> enable it.
Here's how
Open Settings, go to Smart assistance > Shortcuts & gestures > Google Assistant, and enable Wake with Power button. Note: You can still power off your phone by pressing and holding the Power button for 3 seconds.
