Setting up android kitchen

Setting up android kitchen
Hey guys!
I'm sorry I know there are threads regarding setting up of android kitchen, but I need a detailed explanation.
I have installed java jdk and have installed Cygwin also . Now I also downloaded the android kitchen.zip but I didn't get the home directory or folder of cygwin to extract the android kitchen into.
So pls help.
Any help will be highly appreciated.

I have been trying to root my mobile for more than two weeks , cant able to do it , please don't tell pirahnabox , bin4ry or some other stuff , i tried everything , and still nmot working , i know how to install drivers , so dont think am a noob and post irrelevant comments here , please hellp me out !

Made my own custom rom. but while installing my rom using cwm... I get an error status (0)..... plz help me solving this problem.
my phone-grand quttro
os Used in creating rom- win7
Help provided In any os accepted... (ubuntu and win7)

There might be problem in updater script.
And if ypu dont get the error.
Use zipme app from playstore to Create a Update script for installation. ..
