Database Info

My Device Is Not Working..... pls Help pls....

Hello Sir,
First of alll i am sorry for my bad english...
I have a Karbonn A1 device non rooted....with stock rom and stock recovery..
But Few days ago I got all software such as the rom flashing tool i.e."Common Downloader" and also the stock rom files such as recovery.img, userdata.img, system.img etc. I also downloaded stock rom files of Sony Ericsson W8..... so while installing stock rom on my Karbonn A1... I replaced Karbonn's system.img with Xperia w8's system.img..... while installing at 91% it showed "download fail"..... and my device restarts...
Now my device has started but system force closes after every 2 seconds.... When I think to again install the stock rom back.... My computer does not showing COM Port of my device... also my stock recovery is working..... So Pls pls pls ps Help If any one knows how to solve this problem.....

What I have to do next.....
Because flashing needs COM port to be located but My PC is not showing COM port of my device..

Yes Sir,
I have installed the correct drivers of my device and even tried on another computer also.. but still it is not showing the COM ports.

1. download an original rom.
2. change to other computer and flash again carefully.

If com isn't showing then there is only one thing you can do go to customer care......

Plz frnds help me get cwm and custom rom for intex aqua trendy

Hello frnds..today i rooted my device.plz help me get cwm and custom roms plz...
I cannot get any because my device is not listed anywhere on internet.
i can provide you my device details...

ok so no one helped me out..but i managed to port a cwm for Intex Aqua Trendy(my device) and successfully flashed it.
If anyone need it.just ask me.
So now i want to flash a custom rom..so if any dev can guide and help me then please.
Else my view towards xda will surely change..which has already started. :/

Yup had made one..and used it..but i have moved on to motorola..and no more in those mediatek phones.but if u want i can provide the stock rom or will try to port one.maybe i should have that zip somewhere

Choose any one from them. Or check both of these and use the one you find easy:
1. Installing Ubuntu for devices (Official Instructions)
OR
2. How to install Ubuntu Touch on your Android phone or tablet (Instructions from Pro Users)
Actually it is not available for Android One. Developers need to port it to our phones.
I don't know why you're choosing Ubuntu in phone while Android can do much better stuffs.

[Completed] Custom rom

Hey guys ,i want to make an custom rom for my device. I am using android kitchen. I do everything right to make an flashable zip. I watch many tutorials and read many threads but that not works for me in twrp recovery it cannot flash. Can somebody told me why this error occurs. I have no idea regarding building a rom but i think it's updater script error....

You have to show full error in order to get any kind of help.

My device is galaxy on5 running on android 6.0.1
