Ok but 99,99% of user here just flash custom ROM, and alot of custom ROMs have same tweaks.
Others ROM when you instll few tweak get unstable and people complain that the ROM is buggy.
It would be great thing but for people that use stock rom imo.
Or there need to be info about how installing not tested tweaks with rom that they use f**k up they system.
The idea is great for Windows user, where only few of the use custom made windows, and the rest use vanilla version.
But thats my 2 cents.
PS. so this is were your time fly so you dont have time for new rom

this both might help

Hey brood! I know this project stopped, but could you please give me the link of the vid? I got a brilliant idea for an app! and if you don't care, I will (when I can) improve this (probably not possible- it's already made from a master!)
Thank you!

One thing I would like to warn you is that if Java is your first language, don't learn Java first. I personally learned Java as my first language and it was just hell. I hate Java from the bottom of my soul but I still use it almost every other day >_<. If you need help learning anything or help about it let me know.

They are working hard on solving the major bugs, such camera's not working, solve major bugs is harder than minor bugs, when they get the full working ROM, they'll start to solve the small bugs, you just need to wait, since you don't make anything to help...

[CWM-APP][TOOL] AROMA Filemanager

Ok so first off I want to say that I'm not the dev of this awesomeness I just want to share it with the good folks here on the g2x threads in case you don't read other threads outside of the g2x. This is an open source application so feel free to enjoy!
The original thread by amarullz is here. (Also visit there for the github source too.)

The World's First ANDROID Recovery Based Filemanager
Have you ever wanted to run a file manager app in CWM? Who hasnt? I know I have well here it is the one and only Aroma Filemanager.
What is this? This is a .zip file that you download and flash just like any other rom/kernel/mod/fill-in-the-blank flashable zip. Once 'installed' it will give you the ability to edit your file system right in recovery!
How do we use it?Just as stated above. Download and flash just like any flashable .zip in recovery and then watch AROMA Filemanager do it magic!
Will it brick my phone?AROMA Filemanager itself wont brick your phone. However you deleting vital system apps/libs/files/etc could possibly brick your phone or leave it severely disabled.
What are the advantages of this app?Well first off you can edit the ENTIRE Android File system in recovery. This is an amazing app and very versatile.
What if I have issues with this app?Well you got a couple choices, you cant post your issues here and I will do my best to help resolve them. Or you can join the AROMA IRC channel for direct assistance. The channel is #aroma and its on Freenode.

But can't we just use TB for something like that?? Plus with TB we can backed up individual app that we want to remove/un-install. Just in case we want it back we can just simply restore it back. Some people (noobs) get in trouble using TB, or would prefer a quicker way of doing it. Personal preference, I suppose. Besides, in the Android community, having more options is always better.

o and yeah you can go back to stock by either unrooting or by flashing the stock FTF file via flashtool

Im debating the build number... But thinking 5 is where I might go.
Why do you ask?
Well guys, I am going to bed. I have been working on this all night!
I have to work in 6 hours :crying:
Hope you enjoy the fruits of my labor!
PS: Lets try to get my Thanks meter to 18K before I get up. That would be a wonderful gift to me ;c)
we are blessed with a great community of developers. Thank you to everyone who makes this possible!!

Honestly, no good reason other than excitement. And the good sense not to ask when. Sorry to waste space.

From all of us... You are welcome. Most of the thanks goes to Open1Your1Eyes1. He got the goods and passed them to me then I passed them to the other Devs.
From there I did my thing... Which is stock root and CleanROM Lite Edition then a full CleanROM will follow in 48 to 72 hours.
Want to see what bugs may shake loose, if any.
It also seems the J1 mods work on this build with no side affects so that saves time but will eventually rebuild them all so they are all matching. Kinda like a vintage Corvette. Its just better to have matching numbers

Well, it's based off CM10.1 Unofficial by Scott Hart Bti
But I put Pac stuff in there
I'm pretty sure the pa team doesn't want their preferences in any rom but their own. Pac rom had to take it out

We'll just have to see.

Did you ask PA for permission? Always ask for permission.
Will be updating soon!!

I fully understand your concern and what could happen to my account. But I've always wanted to give something to the people who are way too lazy to find it. This is basically PAC with PA Pref. and a few other things. This just makes it a lot easier for people who are too lazy too try and find the apk and put it in their /system/apps/ folder. Hopefully if someone from PA reads this they won't shut down the thread or ban my account. I know I should get permission but.. It just makes it a lot easier for other people. Putting what people like in Roms is my favorite thing so far and I will go as far as I can to make sure people are happy with Android and their Rom. I mean I work as hard as I can to make everything with their electronic devices From Apple, to Linux, and finally to Windows amazing! I hate Apple and Windows but I still try to make everyone happy. I even recommend Raspberry Pi to help teach kids about coding in linux and somewhat windows in my school. I know this is not much of a speech but I'm just trying to keep this rom up so people can just be happy. If this thread was shut down I would be distraught. This rom actually began just me wanting PA Pref on my infuse. But before I get off-topic I just want ParanoidAndroid to keep this thread up.
Thank You for taking the time to read this some-what speech of mine and I hope you have a Great Weekend and a Great Friday. Jonah Signing Out.
Sorry, but the people at PAC have absolutely no sense of humor. Just ask Giovanni Roco. And I would bet dollars to donuts that someone has already reported you.

Scott is not the one you need to worry about.

Your thoughts of wanting to share by putting this ROM together was in the right place.
No one will fault you for that.
However, in the ROM, you have included other developers work.
You may need their actual permission if you want to use it.
Here is PAC-ROM's OP.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2038579
Read it and you will understand what Scott is saying.
