I have cm9 stable and I don't know why but it doesn't seem like my battery has even improved. I was on non rooted phone 2day ago and I rooted my phone yesterday and I haven't noticed a better battery. Should I be using a better theme or something can you help thanks in advance

Go read all the battery threads in general and learn how to manage your battery, I'm not going to write down anything here because it's all written well and you're just lazy.
This is exactly what I was talking about in other threads we can't have some of the other good threads Cruz these guys start these without reading or searching

Wife just bought a Charge (upgraded from Droid 1). I started looking for ROMS to install on her phone, and all I see is the OTA ROM modded/rooted. No custom built ROMs? Any reason why the dev community shunned this device?
Never really got recognized and most people are jumping to bionic razor or nexus a few more Tom's on rootzwiki.com some are found here gummy charged humble infinity most deb's are there though

The search function would answer your question. We don't have AOSP ROMs because we don't have source for the RIL. Official Gingerbread only came barely two weeks ago.
Will we get AOSP, maybe, maybe not. Just run one if the ROMs we already have. They are great. Develop if you want AOSP. Or wait and hope.
It even tires me hearing this over and over, just imagine how a dev would feel.

I would recommend returning the Charge and getting the Nexus. I had the charge since May and I am so glad to have left it behind. Finally being on an AOSP phone is so refreshing.

Agreed over repeated over and over probably at least 25 threads similar to this problem is so many noons no enough senior members be easy on him though we were all noons at one point remember ;-)
Sent from my SCH-I510 using xda premium
Maybe sticky a thread then, explaining why there is no AOSP for the charge.
If you search the "Verizon Droid Charge" sub forum for AOSP there isn't really any threads saying why there is no AOSP, mostly a bunch of threads saying "it's coming", or AOSP parts for the non-AOSP Charge ROMS. What else was I supposed to search for?
Even if it was stickied people would most likely post it anyway

would be nice but the devs we have working on aosp either don't post here on xda much or aren't making enough headway at a time to make it worth a thread

Planning on returning the phone.
Tried several ROMs, each had their own little to major issues . I'm not even sure if this phone will even get ICS considering it didn't even get an "official" Gingerbread until a month ago.
It even looks like the Motorola Droid Classic will get ICS.

I don't seem to have any issues with stock deodexed/debloated. We've had Gingerbread for a long time via leaks.
Enjoy your new phone. The Charge is by far my personal favorite phone. Different strokes for different folks.

Return the Charge and get the Nexus, it's worth the money.
Definitely returning now. Timidly getting Nexus.

I have had all the Zues Roms on my phone, for some reason on day 2 of ZTR my battery started dropping like a beer being shotgunned through a funnel. Almost intentionally was not using phone and was still draining. Even tried juice defender, changed modems and in 8 hours battery was down to 40%. actually that drainage was before changing modems. Love Zues and the features on ZTR are representative of dman hard work.
Would anybody have any ideas?
would a tweek help?
any suggestions? cause Zues IS god and ZTR is god with a big stick.

Try flashing entropy new kernel
a truly emancipated infuse
i was reading on entropy's thread and saw 3 confirmations that the latest will not work with ZTR.
i am more mystified that it was the 2nd day before this started.
after reading on entropy's thread, it seems as if that could be a way to go here. might there be another kernal that would work?
might just have to try reflash and see again...
i was trying uclb1 to see if that would help, but migh have been a little impatient on the results
How many Zeus threads do you guys need... look abbey in q&a there's already one... thanks

I feel i have been responded to by royalty. Thank you for responding to my thread.
I do realize there are many treads started for ZTR, though none were mentioning my specific issue and i am trying not to stray from that specific issue of those individuals.
Also don't want to be included with those that chime in with disrespect for a talented developers hard work which i believe is what drove you away dman.
Im sorry if i don't understand your response, "look abbey and see there already is one"?
im sure just a typo, but i have looked.for someone with my issue in other threads and also for a thread from someone named abbey (stupid i know), but am loving everything bout ZTR and am trying to learn and be respectful.

Guys thanks a bunch!
The other two guys, take a long walk down a short pier. This happens to be a Q&A forum...so technically I'm in the right. Had I posted this in say...the DEV forum I could see a little animosity. However being in the q&a forum all I see are a couple of trolls. This isn't my first rodeo, it just happens to be my first HTC.
You guys are the reason people don't want to root, god forbid they be looking for a little support from a community that does nothing but hack android software and their specific phones no less.
Let the mod take this thread out. I've gotten the information I was looking for no thanks to the trolls.

While you're absolutely correct in posting this thread in the correct forum, literally everything you have asked for has been covered in numerous threads before. I'll apologize for everyone for why we get a little up front with threads like these since we see at least 2 every week. I'm glad this isn't new to you, but before you get angry please look at the rules you agreed to when you signed up for XDA. This is a dev. site first and foremost and some leg work is expected on your part. Searching is something you agreed to do before posting a new thread and if you did so you would have found every answer you needed.
Bacon, you can become the official XDA librarian. Users can request features and you will sift through the books (roms) and send them what they want!

New Mods...please consider closing. We really don't need any more which roms are better type threads.
To everyone else, please just read each Rom description and try them out for yourself. Everyone will like different things.

I have noticed lately that my allowed thanks count doesn't really reset at any specific time, it seems completely random. I had some members help me out today and I couldn't thank them this morning, so I went back to those post just now and was only able to thank 3 times before getting the "sorry you are limited to 8 thanks" message. Has anybody else experienced this? Or is there a mod that can tell me what's going on? Am I going crazy? I am confuse.
I don't think they all reset at the same time. They reset one by one 24 hrs after you use each one.

I haven't really had a proper read through it myself. I just tend to refer to it when there's something I need to know and I feel it'll be in there.

Do people just not use im on phone because all the apps kill the battery super fast or is there a good one that doesn't?

All dependant on the app you use, look through the store to see which ones are good and which are not. If an app has a battery drain issue, most likely its all in he reviews. I really couldn't comment seeing as I don't use an IM program myself
