You can change the settings to make the current screenshot button be used for app drawer.
Apex & Nova launchers will allow you to remove "Persistent search bar"
(which also removes the apps drawer icon)

Hi
Open the Recentapps icon and select START TOUCH DETECTION,now you can simply swipe from the right edge of screen to left to view recent apps. ..Do not redistribute this app without my permission .Hope you find this app useful.
I've tried many launchers but can't seem to find the one I can setup to my desire. Nova, Apex, Action, Smart, Go, Trebuchet, etc. nothing really seems to give me that. My requirements are very specific :
1. I should be able to get a clean home-screen, no app shortcuts, no widgets, no search bar/button, no dock or App drawer icon even.
2. Three to four gestures needed so that I can bring the app drawer, the phone app and Google Cards.
3. The App Drawer needs to be categorized alphabetically.

In the pictures the 2 drawers are of Trebuchet and Solo. I want the design of the drawer to be like Solo, but I don't like its home screen, I can't remove the search bar or move it or resize it, neither can I remove the dock. The drawer of Trebuchet I find very crammed up.
Nova gave me most of it except the drawer and also Arrow launcher was good but couldn't get a clean home-screen.
So free/paid, any recommendations ????
Try Smart launcher
Well Nova actually can do all of this.
What was your problem with clearing the homescreen? Have you checked settings -> homescreen settings -> dock?
You can turn google search bar and the dock off.
And the appdrawer can be categorized alphabetically: settings -> appdrawer -> layout -> list
So I just updated my Nova Launcher Prime & in my app drawer I have 4 Icons on the top above a horizontal line followed by my Folders. I have went through playing with all the settings to try and remove those 4 duplicate Icons but have had no luck, anyone know what the particular settings that refer to those so I can hide it and get my App Drawer back to normal?
Thanks!

I have hunted high and low for this, but is there a way to scroll up and down in the Android One UI apps drawer? I hate going left to right etc, and for the moment don't want to install Nova Launcher (just want to run with the stock launcher for a bit).
I cannot see where (if it exists) this setting is to change.
As far as I know there is not a way to scroll through the app drawer vertically using One UI. You would have to switch to a different launcher for a vertical app drawer.
Use Jina App Drawer.
Try the extremely powerful Jina App Drawer. Works with any launcher. This is what I use with Samsung One Ui.

Swiping up on the Watch 4 brings up the list of installed apps. I find the "app bubbles" confusing so I purchased the Launcher app which mimics how apps were displayed on the Watch 3. Is there a way to change the Swipe Up action so that it runs the Launcher app? I can set it to open when I swipe from right to left, but that hides my tiles. Right now I've programmed double tapping the home button to open Launcher but I'd like to use that for something else. Thanks.
