Google Music constantly deletes/re-downloads localized music (CM10) - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

Now that I'm on one of Verizon's "Don't use what you paid for" plans, I'm nearly halfway through my cycle with no more data to use. This means I'm storing some of my music locally now. The issue is that Google Music frequent deletes music that it's been told to store on the device. When it inevitably starts downloading it again when it's back on WiFi, it will occasionally get stuck and stop in the middle. Reinstalls haven't helped. What do?

Bad Zune Pass bug?

Does anyone with Zune pass and Mango have this problem?
When playing songs/albums downloaded from Zune Pass, randomly it seems as though the player will lock up at the very end of a song, refuse to do anything else, and require a reboot if you want to continue listening to music. This does not happen with music transferred to the device. Very annoying.
HD7. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I often disable my data connection? Though it still seems to happen over wifi.
nope doesn't happen to me.

It could simply be a connection issue. If you are playing music off the Internet, it of course has to buffer and stream. This could simply be a result of a wonky internet connection, so your phone isn't able to get a reliable connection, so it's trying to get your next song for you, and that may unfortunately lock up your phone.
Probably a beta bug. But I've never experienced it at all.

That makes sense, but this is happening with music that I have downloaded to my HD7 with my Zune pass. Streaming music works perfectly, but downloaded music locks Zune up between tracks. Well it technically doesn't "lock" up, but it does refuse to play any other song and just sits on the last second of the track that locked. Perhaps it's trying to get data from the server or something even though it's already downloaded?

Oh I thought you were talking about streaming music with Zune Pass, downloaded Zune Pass tracks is something different.
I tested out a song and there was no lag at all.
I know that at some point, if you haven't sync'd your phone for a long time, my Zune HD would momentarily stall before playing a song I downloaded with Zune Pass. I assume its pegging the Zune server for license information to make sure I can still play it. But I haven't experienced that on Windows Phone, or even know if Windows Phone does that all (but its technically just Zune so I assume it does do it if I haven't sync'd in a long time). Though if you just upgraded to Mango, you have to plug in your phone for that just recently, so it can't be that.
Maybe just a bug? Corrupted installation? A hard reset might fix that.
nope doesn't happen to me.
I did hard reset my device, and the bug appeared to be gone; however, it has since started up again. Perhaps it happened when I synced my phone to OSX, I am not sure, but it is back. Very annoying, randomly freezing when listening to my albums. It still only applies to music downloaded on Zune Pass.

Yes, I have the same problem with 7712: It doesn`t related with data connection: I tested it with 3g+wifi, wifi without 3g, all data services off. There is the same result: player randomly stopped at the of song for a 5-10 seconds or locked at all.
PS: Phone is Samsung Omnia 7

I've had this problem since upgrading too. Although even since pre NoDo, sometimes tracks would randomly pause and then resume, and then repeat that a few times.
I'm using a Samsung Omnia 7.

Help! Google Music streaming error on Android App

Ever since I got my new phone, I've used Google Play Music because I love it so much. But whenever it streams music that's not off the phone, about two thirds through the song, it always stops and then states "Could not play the stream you requested" No matter what I do it still does it, low quality or high quality, 3G or Wifi. I've cleared the cache countless times, I've uninstalled updates and restarted and reinstalled updates like suggested in another post, but nothing works! I switched from SiriusXM app to the Google Music All Access since it was cheaper and now it's doing this still! So frustrating! I only have 2 devices authorized as well. Please help!
Phone is rooted LG AS730 (LG Optimus Select)
Thank you,
What's going on with the stream stopping!?
I'm having the same issue! It's very frustrating. I am actually prepared to pay for the Google streaming service but at this point I think I may just have to cancel it before the 30 day trial is complete. LG Optimus G

[Q] Get playlists back into Google Music???

Jeeze I hope this in in the right place! sorry if it's not. I keep my music on my phone, and don't stream at all. I do flash my phone a bit, and often do full wipes. I just re-load my music from my laptop back onto my phone. But any of the playlists I've set up seem to only then appear when I have Google Music set to download music too. But to save on data I normally have that turned off. When I create a playlist using the songs on my phone it's there when downloading is turned off. But after a reinstall and reload of my music it only appears when I have downloading on and the only way it works is if I allow it to download the playlist again, even though the music is already on my phone.
Does anyone know a way to get the playlist back into my Google Music account without actually downloading the songs which are already there on my phone.
Thanks heaps

Google play all access issues

Hi guys,
Recently I have issues with Google play all access playing downloaded files. The sound stops, but the time keeps ticking as if it is playing. If I turn the screen off, the music plays fine. If I stream through the same app, as opposed to downloaded music, it's also fine.
I did a factory reset which totally fixed the issue, but came back only a few weeks later.
Short of continuous factory resets, any ideas? This is obviously incredibly annoying.
Other players play local music fine, but as I own very little music, it's all streamed, this wouldn't really work as an alternative...
Thanks in advance!

Backing up Google Play Unlimited before wiping phone

I tried searching, but was unable to find a solution. I have over 60gb of music downloaded to my phone that I do not want to have to re-download after wiping my phone. This is for two reasons, first off, it is time consuming to go through and click download on every album I want to be available offline. Second, my Comcast Internet has a data cap which I already go over every month. The extra $10-20 for the data is not a huge deal, so even if there is a solution to make it easier to re-download the music I already selected to be available offline, that would be the biggest help.
Also, I have a stock, non-rooted Galaxy S6.
