I had Zagg screen protector since first day I bought my tab . I feek like my s pen is not so much responsive as it supposed to be . I have to press little bit hard everytime .
Is that screen protector ruining my tab?
I guess it was actually for galaxy tab 2 .

Zagg protectors are thick and rubbery. It seems as if they would produce almost too much drag for the pen. Have no idea if they reduce pens sensitivity.
Sent from my GT-N8013 using Tapatalk 2
Could do since the tab 2 doesn't have pressure sensitivity like we do, so maybe its not designed to account for it.
Myself I grabbed the official Samsung one, which is also for tab 2 or note 10.1 and it seems to still respond ok.

I have the zagg cover on my note 10.1 and have not noticed any problems with the pen or finger use.

Just wondering if you use one or not on the GS3. My first GS3 didn't have one on it, and it magically gained 3 large scratches in the screen (always was left in a pocket alone, nothing else). I had one on my 2nd GS3, but I am now on my 3rd (2nd one had dead pixels) and wondering if I should just rough it out without one, or get one again.
Also if you got one, where from, and how do you like it?
Thanks
I got one from my bro so i dont know what brand it is. But i can tell you it came in a pack of like 3 and it sucks. Rainbow affect ruins the screens potential. Look like its kinda snowy and the feel isnt nice

I'm using the SGP Ultra-Nano, and its awesome, comes with 3 in the package, I've used 1 so far, it does have light scratches on it now though, cost about $12 on amazon.
None here. A month in so far without issue *knock on wood*

i had one on for a bit, took it off though.
This is the best one by far although the SGP is very good also:

After looking at this, I think I will buy some. Thanks for the recommendation!
Screen protectors are more trouble than their worth in almost all cases. If you manage to get it on without putting absolutely hideous bubbles on the screen, then you'll be left with something that just makes the screen "rainbowy" and terrible looking. Second skin doesn't do this but then it makes the screen rubbery and grippy feeling, not smooth like it should be. Protectors also seem to enhance fingerprints making them highly visible. Scratches? I wouldn't worry too much about that with gorilla glass 2 - http://youtu.be/wT8xI4PEU8c
My wife's has two small scratches already.

Hmm just surface scratches? Visible when the screen is on?
Gorilla glass 2 isn't as durable as gorilla glass 1.

Well this guy's doing some ridiculous stuff and no problems. Just sayin. Minor scratches are to be expected from anything. Screen protectors to me are annoying and take away from the experience of the device.
Zagg invisishield HD for me

I've used the SGP Ultra Nanos and don't like them. Within a month quite a lot had peeled away from the phone. I think this is going to be an issue with all thin film protectors that the industry seems to prefer with this model (slightly curved display surface).
I purchased an XGear Spectre and really like it. It's a tempered glass surface. Very easy to mount and hasn't peeled or scratched despite subjecting it to the same rigors as my previous SGP Ultra Nano. Nor do I expect it to peel in the future because it's pretty think (0.4 mm) and rigid. Apparently it's think enough that it doesn't fit all cases (I don't use a case). The field of view is essentially unaffected and the glass has excellent optics. At $35 with shipping, it's definitely more of than investment than thin film protectors, but I consider it a good value given the advantages.
I got the ones from samsung at the verizion store when i got my phone (the first day they had them or second)
The dude put on the first one for me and still looks great barley tell its there and its custom fit to phone
Price tag is 14 bucks but he gave it to me and it did go on very nicely no bubbles or discoloring
I don't use one, I'm just careful not to put anything in the same pocket that could scratch it
Same I use the one from the Verizon store 12 bucks, it didn't effect the viewing, it's a dry install and almost no bubbles when done, and you get 3.

I put on 20 of the verizon ones everyday. Done correctly there are no bubbles, no lint and hold up well. Seeing all the hideous home jobs applications, the glossy texture of zags and the anti glare versions I can see why they get a bad rap.
I wouldn't go without one.
Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
yeah, i've got a plain clear verizon one on mine.....actually it was the Cellet Screen Guard..just took it from my store. i put a million on a day, too, so i'm really good at it. i never ever get bubbles or dust. just gotta know how to do it!
also, you guys getting the grainy and rainbow effects, it's because you're using anti-glare protectors. they suck. the clear ones are better.

Could you elaborate?
Anyone have any recommendation for a non stick screen cover that will feel smooth?
I'm currently using Great Shield anti glare, it's consistently slick and despite hating the image quality with it on (anti glare makes things grainy) using any touch screen without it feels awful.
I've got a Zagg on my tablet which is a "quality" soft film cover and it doesn't come close in smoothness. Anyone use any brand/type that's clear but with the paper-ish feel of anti glare guards?

I've been using the SGP Steinheil UltraFine (Anti Fingerprint) film since day one. Installed last November and still perfect... very smooth to the touch.
16 bucks for that Steinheil is steep. Is it washable? Amazon description offered little to no info.

By washable I suspect you mean how I clean the surface? No need to ever remove it once it's in place (I've had mine on for 10 months). I wipe it 3-4 times/wk with a microfiber cloth and lens cleaner (eyeglass cleaner and cloth). cleans up in seconds. No air bubbles have ever formed underneath. Follow the directions during installation and you should never have an issue.
I've been using Xtreme Guard and it is smooth. It's a thick layered protector an does not show scratches like the cheap thin ones. I've been using it for months and it's still like new.
Got a Zagg Invisible shield HD put on my wife's GS3 and loved the extra shine and feel of the HD. Tried to order one for my Skyrocket only to find out they don't make it in HD. THEY DO however make one for the Sprint Samsung Galaxy Epic 4G Touch, which fits the Skyrocket. Looks and feels awesome! Sorry if this has already been mentioned.

It is a decent price, nice and sturdy, thin and protective, and just plain works!

Go to the accessories forum. Everyone saying what case they have and how they like it.

I like my Zenus case, was a bit pricey but well worth it. Looks good, feels comfortable and fits well... Has 2 size stands for landscape but none for portrait. Has a hand rest for portrait viewing and a stylus holder. Uses studs to close, no magnets. I got the brown case and it looks AWESOME with my grey tablet.
Original Samsung Smart Cover Case on mine. It is light and works perfectly OTG. Only drawback: back cam is hidden when unfolded. For camshots it's somehow artistic but it works.
My wife has a leather "ultraslim"cover, now her Note 10.1 is heavy and clumsy like a notebook .........
I like the little bit of weight, It provides that little bit more protection if/when I drop my tab... And it's nowhere near as heavy as my laptop.... I carry a few tabs around in my bag, each in leather protectors and the weight difference is MAJORLY different to my laptop...
I have an older notebook and even then there's a serious difference in weight too...
Hey guys,
I got the chance to review this case and made the video as usual. It is very thin, very light, however I am not comfortable leaving the top and bottom exposed.
Here it is! If you have any questions please just let me know
http://youtu.be/KIRwjBtI7L4
Just slapped mine on, like the raised corners for face down safety but agree the front of the top and bottom are pretty exposed. Nice fit and what I was looking for though. Nice review

whiel i like how slim it is. on mine, even with it face down, it'll wobble and it seems the screen is still touching because it slides soo easily like it does without the case.
the case without the phone doesn't wobble and it doesn't slide easily. maybe i have crooked one? doesn't feel like it though since there's no squeaking with the case on.
Just got mine and I'm liking it a lot, all we need is a case exactly like this one but covers the top and bottom as well, but yea this one is very nice
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Odd I put mine face down in the dark and can see light all the way around except the corners. I am fairly positive it's not touching screen. The second case I got isn't as good of a fit though it is loose on the volume rocker side.

I've had mine for a week or so.
Pros:
Thin
Light
Cons:
Moves around too much directly over the volume controls. Not enough material there to be stiff enough so it tends to flex in that area.
There's an annoying ridge around the edge closest to the screen. Sort of like a line for the mold used to form the plastic. This makes it feel cheap.
I've got the "Ringke Fusion" case on order and hoping I like that better. If so, this one may be going back.
-Brett.
I was just wondering...to address the 'top and bottom bezel uncovered' issue, could we not apply one of those full body shield protectors, i.e those that protect the sides? Or would the case not fit with that on?

I have this case and love it. I don't like to put cases on my phones but wanted to protect the glasses back so I got this. Protects the back while barely being noticeable, which is perfect for my tastes.

Got this case a couple days ago in white. So far so good. Thin and low profile. Dropped the phone yesterday, hit the corner and not a scratch or crack on the phone.
To those who have this case on, is it a snug fit or kind of lose? I'm asking because I just received the Spigen SGP Slim and it has a lose fit. Like you could shake it softly and feel the phone sliding around..kind of disappointed and if the Ringke Slim is snug, then I'm considering ordering that.

Man..I knew I should of ordered from Rearth instead since I had the slim case for the Gnex...thanks for the response. Haha

probably the tightest snuggiest case. IT's a b*tch to take off. Can nick the phone w/my fingernail trying to remove the case hence why I've been rocking it naked the past week..
Correct fitment is pretty tight . but I think this also makes it barely noticeable

I got my navy blue Ringke Slim (version 2) this morning and although the fit is superb and getting it back off if a challenge i am a little cheesed off that "soft touch" doesn't equate to grip like it would on a Case Mate Barely There.
Great case but i am tempted to put my 95p S Line jobbie back on.
Cheapo case back on and the Ringke Slim sold on, it needs to be more grippy.
I found this to be most useful protector.
Have been using this since note 8 then s9+
Note 9.
It's like oleophobic glass.
Very thin.
Glide typing works nicely
S pen works nicely.
Best part is it's price
Hope it helps someone
