I did not understand what you meant.
Because English is not my native language.
But if you comment to criticize .. you know you can do with your comment.
If you mean that is Warez or something. Then wasting your time.
Why is a free beta that payment is not anywhere.
If it still remains warez
Let XDA administrators take care to tell me.
If I'm mistaken I apologize, but that's what I understood.
Oh and I'm not asking for donations or anything like that.
It's just to try it.
If ingrigi some rule. Single and ready enough to tell me.
In instead of insulting.

This community can be a bit abrasive at times. There was another thread a while back where someone linked to the beta and the developer came on and berated them for doing so since the beta was never intended for a public release. The whole ordeal sparked a bit of controversy and some believe it hurt the developmental process of the emulator. Your link will probably be taken down but that is why.

hi i have a problem with this emu..it starts perfctly,it goes up to the main menu, but when i chosoe "play" to start a game(either capcom vs snk or dynamic golf)the screen goes white, looks like its loading, but then it goes back to the main menu of the dreamcast again.and before yo uask, yes i put my disc images on the "discs 2folder,renamed the .gdi into game.gdi, and the various track 1,2 etc are there.any help?

Few points:
- Its an alpha, not a beta.
- It was leaked some time ago and is freely available with a quick google search.
- The developer of this whined like a drowning cat when it was leaked, probably with some justification as its not right to share without permission. If you don't have permission to use or distribute a free app, its no different than stealing a paid app.

Hey I have a question. Will this work for a Samsung Galaxy S2? How do you select games when you launch the app?

Why was this port canceled? I've read that the developer was upset that his earlier builds were being leaked and he seemed to be making progress on his code over 2 years ago. Why did he suddenly stop development on this? I've tried going to his blog and it seems to be shut down...
I realized that our phones simply don't have the processing power necessary to run most games, but some of the higher spec'd tablets and phones that are beginning to come out should be coming close to that. Just curious.

He claims to still be working on it actually. I'm not quite sure why he hasn't kept people updated but if I had to guess he either doesn't want to be pressured, doesn't trust people to look over his project after the various leaks, is busy with life outside of the project, or simply doesn't want to raise expectations to a point that can't be met; all of which I can respect.

I can't wait to see how its looking on Xperia Play at this point. The Shenmue games probably wouldn't suffer from a bit of lag but my dream would be playing Trizeal on the go and I know that probably won't be a reality.

Shenmue games on the Xperia PLAY would be amazing. I remain pessimistic so I won't be disappointed either way.

I wanna play Tony Hawk Pro Skater, That and Jet Grind Radio.

Well on the bright side the PS1 Tony Hawk games are about as good and we will probably be seeing Jet Grind Radio pop up on Android pretty soon.
I'd love to play some Lodoss War, SA2, Trizeal, Border Down, Psyvariar 2, Castle Shikigami 2, and maybe, just maybe Sturmwind someday

yep

NDS Emulator...Possible?

Before I get flamed, I just want to say that I couldn't find a thread after a search. "DS" is pretty short for a search
Looking at the DS's specifications (understand that we'd only need to look at the specs of the ORIGINAL DS; they can play any game that the others can), it seems very doable: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DS#Technical_specifications
Here's the NDS emulation link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DS_emulation
An open-source NDS emulator written in C++ for Windows: http://dualis.1emu.net/files/index.html
It's been done for Windows, the specs appear to be doable, so I was just wondering...what's stopping us?!
it may be just me... lol..........
but i'm pretty sure the ds utilizes 2 screens.................................
my hd2 only has 1..... maybe mine's defective??
How is it done on the PC? It's split down the middle. The touch (or on PC, mouse) is only active on the bottom. Next time try thinking before making a wise comment
i know. what a jerk. ignorant people make ignorant comments
I imagine it would be if someone put in the time. Haven't seen alot of interest though
Hi
I had a look at the wiki page you pointed to and I think the Emulation link may be more helpful, I can't check any of those out as I'm at work and the fun police have blocked them :/
Wiki emulation link is;
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nintendo_DS_emulation
Maybe there are some developers on those sites which are interested in working on a version for winmo, similar to FPSECE the PS1 emulator for winmo devices.
Again, just putting some helpful information out there: http://www.ndsemulator.com/nds-emulator.htm
Also note that we wouldn't need the ARM 7 processor because it's used solely for GBA emulation on the DS (or am I incorrect?). Here is what I can find as the "best" emulator for PC: http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/gba/nocashgba.html
I'd love to have this functional on my HD2. Not only does it take advantage of the touch screen, but the iffy multitouch support wouldn't even be necessary - the DS doesn't support it itself!
@lexx-luthor
Thanks for the link, hope you don't mind if I throw it in the first post.

lol funny... try thinking before you post kid...
comparing a fully running pc.. and its MONITOR... i'd be shocked if it didn't run ds games.... are you still a little confused here??
and before i totally crush your little dreams of playing a nintendo ds on your hd2... it's just plain and simply not possible.. the end...
think about the buttons.. .. lets say we did split the hd 2 screen in half.... so a portion of it would be the touch screen... where would the "nintendo ds hardware buttons be??
think morph gear.. think playstation emulator.....
there would have to be a gamepad.. on the lower half of the screen.... which would probably get in the way of what was supposed to be the "touch" part of the ds.....
so yea.. forgive my tone.. if they are insulting to you.. but common sense is something i take a little seriously..... especially if someone is gonna try and "correct" someone....
dismissed
Does it really take a fully-fuctional PC to emulate a 67 MHz processor and 32 MB of RAM? Is the HD2's 1 GHz processor and 448 MB RAM not enough, even if the game does peak and use all of the 67 MHz and 32 MB? Why would a monitor make a difference at all? If the screen is split, the top part would act as a monitor. So, again, if you're going to be an ass then think about what you're going to say first.
It would be possible the same way that FPSECE is - with a Bluetooth controller such as the BGP100: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_667zwB3nLE
I feel like I'm "correcting" you quite well actually. So, again, thanks for trying. Anything else?
Lol!
Should re name this the *****in thread!
No, no one has released anything that will play NDS games.. yet...
I agree, It wouldn't be very functional with the lay out along with the additional buttons needed. Your right, you could add the controller however wouldn't be a very practical emulator if you HAD to have one, would it?
So bottom line, I very much doubt you'll see one, not for a while anyway.
No need to hate on people for giving their opinion, and personally I like people with a sense of humor!

@Projekt
Why couldn't you just answer in a manner such as that?
I do agree that it would be less than optimal to require a controller, but FPSECE requires one as well and there are many people that use it as far as I know. I understand why you say that we may not see one for a while, but I'd rather keep dreaming

You never know!
somethings you know..... not gonna happen... at least on your hd2's life span....

i'm not sure.. i honestly think you're STILL confused... which is making me confsued...

All these ..... are getting me confused!!
I agree with snowblind, its probably very possible just a little impractical. Personally I can't really see the point in gaming on a mobile phone with a controller. If I want to do that I'll just go on my 360 or PS3.
I heard the next iteration of the DS will have phone capabilities built in. You heard it here first!
Edit: Its work in progress but here is version 0.1...

lol
i somehow doubt that as well... not saying that it couldn't happen... but like the OP's idea... it is just simply not gonna work...
nintendo would have to start a whole new service... for their phone services... despite the financial aspect of it... starting a phone company isn't as easy as 1,2,3....
but ehh.. people can dream.... i'm not gonna argue about that... just stick to the classics yea OP?? morphGear is fantastic... and playing true classics like that on my mobile phone is a dream come true... the ds is already a "mobile" device... its a handheld gaming unit... therefore making it on the phone would more so be a way to "show off" the phones capabilities... (which are gonna become obsolete in about a year... but thats a different topic..) rather then a practical use... morphgear or playstation emulators are perfect because i simply cannot take my super nintendo everywhere... nor my PSOne.... are ya getting it now??
*sigh* i didn't realize you were being sarcastic.. you posted that link after i posted my reply... lol..

Creative Mobile Drag Racing Save editing

Can anyone explain to me how this really works? I know I'm supposed to edit the save.dat with a hex editor, but I cannot find my money in the hex. Also, what is the save2.dat?
Let's say I have 134321 credits. In hex, that would be 20cb1. Now, how I am going to edit that value so I have millions/billions os cash/rp? I don't have this money, I just took that as an example. Let's say I want to start off clean with 15000 and 5 rp, how can I turn that into millions/billions at the very start?
Also, I've noticed that the hex editor I use changes the permissions of the dat file when it saves it. Should I change the permissions back to what it originally was or should I keep it that way?
Not one to endorse cheating, but you could always use CIH2 from the market.
You need to have root to use it.

I will download and see what this might be. Even though you do not endorse cheating, I should tell you we're in a "hacking" section.
Can you please do me a favor? Install that app, and upload it for me? I cannot install it (not even using the Market site).
Hacking would imply you were going to modify it for the benefit of everyone else, not modify it so you have an "unfair" advantage over everyone else.
You can find it HERE, If your unable to install it, then its not suitable for your device. I'd suggest hacking it to make it work.
About hacking it to make it work, can you tell me if I can find a hacked version of Drag Racing for my Samsung Wave II with Bada?
I am so desperate to play that game and when I found out that on the Samsung Apps of my Bada I couldn't find it I was destroyed. So can someone tell me how can I make it work on my smartphone (beware I don't know nothing about hacking) or tell me something regarding to it?
Is it possible to hack, or is it hacked already (though I didn't find it) or are they now developing the Bada version of Drag Racing?
Don't hack ! Play the game
You misunderstood. I wasn't talking about hacking the game in order to achieve RP's or In-game money, I'm talking about a possible hacking way in order to make it work on my Samsung Wave II, because it isn't available for Bada OS as far as I heard and searched.
The game can be found on Android Market and for Iphones but the Samsung Wave II has Bada OS and the game cannot be found on the "Samsung Apps" page of my phone.
SO I was wondering if is there a version of Drag Racing that works on Bada also or is it in development right now? Cause I am desperate to have my phone's OS from Bada to Android and I can't do that until there is a more stable "AndroBada" OS. So until then, can anyone help me with my obsession for the Drag Racing game?
Btw, the Samsung Wave II has the same configuration as Samsung Galaxy S and the Galaxy S has the game available, so I don't think it's impossible, that's why I am trying to find out what's up
Don't try 4-shared or online "hack tools" for any games.....
I, for one, don't care what your reason for hacking an .apk is. To each his own. If you do hack, chances are you will be unable to connect to the server to compete in online material and your results will not be uploaded to the Drag Racing servers. That being said:
Don't use the files you find on 4-shared or online when searching for game hacking tools. The only thing you will get, most of the time, is survey after survey after survey and then some ads, and then nothing at all to do with your game. If anyone needs a "hacked unlimited money and Glu gold" Deer Hunter 2014, I have one that I created. But again, like I said, nothing will upload to the servers and after you have killed everything, bought every weapon and had your fun...... it will just be boring.

Devil May Cry 4, how to get it

I haven't seen any other threads with detailed instruction, but there's a Japan only version of Devil may cry 4 and it has xperia play support. If you want to get it:
First use your phones bar code scanner to scan the barcode next to the devil may cry on the G-GEE Market Link (http://gmo-game.com/app/1760/). It will download G-Gee Gamecenter.
Install this. Open it and make a new account.
Then download the Market Enabler Application and use Docomo Japan code 44010.
Rescan the Devil may cry with barcode scanner. And select Gamecenter to open. It will then show it as a way to buy it.
Select buy then sign in and pay by credit card, then enter your credit card and hit save.
It will then download the Devil May Cry 4: Refrain application for you to play.
as you might suspect, it REQUIRES ROOT
No disrespect but

apk and obb
delete!
I think there is no obb and apk as it needs japanese market to work coz its started from it. There probably are only data files, but they wont help to piracy it
Ps. Asking for warez is against xda rules

It is not because it is not compatible hardware-wise -- I have it running on my 700, and while there's some lag on starting the game, it runs beautifully once in-game.
The only 100% legal option you have is pay for it and subsequently download it while on a supported device, rip the apk out with, for example, Total Commander or Titanium Backup, and transplant it to your 700.
Humbug.
Thanks though
and just looked at a game I often played on the ipad3 and it's also not available.

That's like complaining a Windows game doesn't work on a Mac. You're asking for a game on a totally different operating system. Every scrap of logical reasoning could've told you that it might not work beforehand.

the game is available in android just not compatible to tf700 just like plants vs zombies.
I thought that's the reason for my thread (i.e. app compatibility...). You're such a genius.

Not my fault you made it sound like you were upset the iOS game didn't work on android. If it was intended as an addendum to your previous post, use the bloody Edit button. It's there for a reason.
You can try using the modded playstore if you want to go the legal way.

It works fine. I purchased it from the Amazon App Store.

Thanks, 55Pegasus, as for you Americans, this would be the best (and only) option. For us Europeans, we'd be stuck anyway. ; )
Now, I do have a few observations to make... Please excuse me, but...

The main reason is that you, OP, actually phrased it like you were upset that your favorite game from another OS was not available on the 700, not that it was available for Android in general, but not for the 700 in particular. :silly:

Your thread started out regarding PvZ specifically (it's even in the title!). You can't take a crap down somebody's back because you phrase things clumsily. My advice (which I myself mostly follow): take your time posting something, and think over your phrasing. I try not go get personal, although I admit I'm only human and therefore can take only so much before I explode.
A correre e cagare ci si immerda i garretti. Freely translated: running and taking a crap at the same time will foul your heels. Ancient Italian (probably of Sumerian origins), but very applicable to many of life's situations, like forum posting, sex, cooking, chemistry (which is my educational background) and military operations (of which I have had a taste as well). I should have this tattooed somewhere. (That would be a first, by the way.)

Agreed. Don't forget your hypertension meds, love.
Can it work?
If everybody is done criticizing each other over how they've worded their posts, can we get back to the topic?
Is there a way to make this game work on a 1920x1080 Android device? There are more and more of them coming out...such as the S4 and HTC One. There must be a way to scale the display...?
Does anybody have a solution?

Well, if you'd read my first post (or took in the message instead of only feeling the 'tone'), you'd know the answer: yes, we have. It works beautifully, and has done so for almost a year on my tab. Thank you for reviving this old, decomposing thread.
There was an android humble bundle a while back that had plants vs zombies as part of the bundle. It runs well, scales nicely, and as previously mentioned it lags a little during cut scenes.

I found avway to get it from the Amazon store using Unblock-US...i'm in Canada. it works but the graphics aren't great.

I never said you had to build it yourself. I said you can sideload it from one of so many other Android devices. Simple, and effective, requires pretty much no skill.

Taking an advance of your next and last sentence: you're welcome for taking the long way home. Feel free to ignore other's advice for having an easy and leisurely life, and risk screwing with your system in the process. There's always others on XDA who can help you out when you F up on that, too, right?

Youngest app developer

Guys I am 11 years old and I'm the youngest app developer in Europe! I currently develop for only one platform which is android. I am soon to receive a free noka lumia 920 from Microsoft I recently made this in 4 hours! Any of you guys like it? Its free! To view the app you have to search the google play store for "tree jump flamagames" android
Well how do you know your the youngest? I made my first app at the age of 12. And I am from South-Africa, nothing happens here, I am sure there are younger developers in Europe.
Your game is so unbelievably hardcore that I gnawed one of my arms off in frustration and then proceeded to run around my living room screaming obscenities at whatever inanimate objects were unfortunate enough to be in my path.
I am the youngest.

The game runs on the Adobe Air platform. I know because it prompted me to download Adobe Air since I didn't have it.
I am a ROM Developer for 4 Devices and I am only 15 years old !! I also run all the builds ALONE !!
Well done for creating apps, however what really is the point of this thread? it does seem to me like you just trying to get your post count up
Nice work, starting so young! I was writing code when I was your age as well, although they were BASIC and C games running on my Apple II and PC XT clone....with 320x200 4-color/2-bit CGA graphics. Programming can be great fun, just don't forget to go play outside.
I'd suggest making tree jump work in a landscape orientation, in order to give the player the ability to see farther ahead.
There's always going to be someone younger, don't worry about it. But watch out for making claims about being the world's youngest. In any case, that's impressive work for age 11.
Neat work coming from an 11 year old. Also not a bad way to get them downloads

I never said I was the worlds youngest I said I was Europes youngest! Which is true! Google "Caolan Fleming"
Now is simple to have all information that you need to develop apps. When i was 12, i read for the first time how to program games for J2ME, but i did not have the concept how to program. However, my first program was in Visual Basic at 15 years old at school, on the books and without internet because 10 years ago internet was a luxury in Italy. Now is a great time to lear how to program because internet has all information that you need for all.
Nice that you are writting an Android app in your age. But honestly how can you be sure you are the youngest in Europe. But nevermind
But seriously do you want an answer to your post. I'm coding already double the time you are old. So I give you a tip: become 14-16, go out and meet a nice girl:laugh: and make other things. Because I have the feeling you are already obsessed. And this is the wrong way
Go out and have some fun with your friends man.. Being obsessed by these things at such a young age can cost you valuable future friendships

Truth is, we're mildly impressed but nobody actually cares all that much.
