Hey,
got a problem here, just freaked out cause i thought i bricked, but huray seems we are ok.
Today I went from seans JB 3.0 to 3.6A, after that im stuck at asus logo. So i downloaded
ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T Firmware: V10.4.2.9 Only for WW SKU (Android 4.1) ( I flashed the unzipped file )
then some mismatch poped out and i thought im done . But CWM is still in place so I can still help it somehow :highfive:.
Any suggestions ?
edit: aaaaw i just came up to that I may be flashing different base! Ill try US
edit 2: no, US 10_4_2_9 signature mismatch... :/ so can someone lend me a hand here ? please
pleease some great mind here help me . Im doin it exactly how should i be doing it. Ill talked with guys in seanz topic and im sure im doin it right, I really dont know what could be wrong. I re-downloaded the file from asus, extracted it so i could flash US_epaduser_10_4_2_9.zip, after a minute or two it says its complete but when i reboot it says signature mismatch. There must be someone who knows what could be wrong, because im stuck here, i dont really know what to do.
CONCLUSION: okay i just made it. The problem was CWM Recovery. It just couldnt flash the zip. I just tried to flash TWRP over CWM and I got signature match and right now im on stock rom. hurray TWRP!

so i have a b90 tf101 with .21 which was previously rooted with vipermod. I wanted to avoid flashing cwm until ics came out to keep it as stock as possible for upgrade.
So i was trying to figure out ubuntu installer, and it wouldnt work for some reason, so i figured i might try to reinstall busybox. Anyway somewhere along the line my wifi stopped working it gets stuck on obtaining ip, then i tried factory reset, and wiping all data to fix that issue (didnt work). I then noticed i somehow lost my root access. so i tried rerooting and it keeps saying -exec 'system/bin/sh' failed: no such file or directory.
So i guess my best option is to try to get this thing flashed with stock firmware using stock recovery if possible, and would love an explanation of how to do that (searched for miles online and couldnt find anything about how to use the stock recovery) or if anyone has any other advice it would be much appreciated
Thanx

Well, if you still have cwm and can get to it...you're good. just download the super wipe lite file from the revolution hd thread...download a ROM such as revolution hd...put both in external sd...go to cwm recovery...flash the wipe script...then flash the rom.
Then just wait till ics is out...then flash a custom ics ROM...instead of trying to go stock again and messing things up...cause i bet that there will be a root stock ics rom within hours of release.
thats my problem i never installed cwm. cant i flash a stock rom using the stock recovery? do you know anything about the wifi issue? if not how can i get rid of superuser so i can rma?

After you have download the file from Asus, make sure to extract the files from within. Put it on the root of your sd card.
Power off the TF.
Push and hold Vol down plus power button
As soon as you see words scrolling at the top left corner
Push Vol up immediately (within 5 sec) to get into recovery mode.
Hopefully it read the update file and flash it.
sry hopefully this is the last question. when i extract the file there is a folder called asus inside it with another zip inside that and a blob with some files inside that. Which should i put on the sd card. and by sd card do you mean the internal memory or microsd.
thanks a million for the help
IIRC, after you extract there's an Asus folder, in that folder is an Update folder.
It's the zip inside the Update folder that need to go on the external micro sd card
as a side not the reason that the ubuntu installer id not work is that you have a b90 which it clearly states ubuntu does not work on becasue of sbk2
i could be wrong but im pretty sure it just visualizes ubuntu and doesnt actually install it. anyway thanks for all the help guys it turns out to flash the stock firmware you just put it in the microsd and press the tiny exclamation mark next to the clock on the stock rom. took me forever to figure out, but it fixed everything. I got wifi working, then re-rooted, then flashed team-rogue recover (thanks for that one baseballfanz) as rom manager said it wasnt compatible with tf101, but do u guys know if there is any way to get regular cwm, and finally flashed krakd.
Thanks again to everyone, and let me just say this is one of the most helpful forums i have ever been on

Not sure what the "regular cwm" is but you should be able to flash krakd rom with the team rouge cwm recovery.
The only other recovery I recommend would be Roach's 3.2.0.1 version.
Both version can be found here.

Ok, so here's my situation.
I bought a used Transformer Pad TF300T off Craigslist and it was already unlocked and rooted with ClockworkMod and CyanogenMod. Well, I have no use for all that, so I wanted to reflash to the most current stock firmware. Well, I downloaded the absolutely wrong firmware with the wrong SKU (JP and I live in US) and now I have a Japanese tablet. :/
After much work, I finally got it re-rooted with ClockworkMod v6.0.1.0 so I can install zip from sd card. However, any US or WW SKU firmware I try to install, after the install is complete and I reboot, right underneath the "The device is unlocked" text is "Signature mismatch" in red text.
I tried to install CM 9 & 10 to see if that would help, and it appears to install but it goes from loading 1% to 100% in about a second, and then gets stuck at the ASUS screen.
So, is there anyway someone can guide me? I'm sure I've done some stuff bass ackwards, but I'm only intermediate at hacking and modding, so help is appreciated. I've been scouring forums for weeks, so I give. Help please?
Oh man, this is the best forum. I no longer need assistance because I found the answer

I accidentally flashed the JP firmware on my tf300t, I was trying to update from 4.1.1. Now my recovery (was CWM 6.0.x.x) shows a dead droid when I go into RCK. I am searching around and can not find a way to reinstall CMW without using the fastboot method. How were you able to get it installed? I feel like such a moron for flashing the wrong SKU.Any help here would be SUPER appreciated.

I don't know if the DEV thread is the right place for your question.. However this this: use the Tubuntu flasher and flash back a old ROM (see the tubuntu thread for a guide).. At least it should get it going again.. However you will loose your data.. You maybe better posting in the help and troubleshooting thread.. not DEV.
Also I am sure there is a better way of fixing it.. But I live in the world of Linux on the TF101
I posted this within tdunham's ROM thread. I thought I'd better start a thread here since I seem to be getting myself deeper in trouble. I feel like I've been so close, but I also feel like I may have bricked my phone....
I am in twrp trying to flash ROM. (This is my first time using twrp so maybe I"m missing something easy)
I am able to access this file in twrp: 1. G900P_PK1.6.0.1.New_stuff.ver2.3b.zip
I also extracted this file and have a file I can access called: G900P_PK1.6.0.1.New_stuff.ver2.3 (This has folders called META-INF, rootzip (which includes SuperSU zip), system, vrtheme)
Which of these things am I supposed to flash at this point?
When i flash using the NEW_STUFF zip file it says installation complete. Script succeeded: result was [ ]. Updating partition details....done
But above that it says
1. New_stuff.ver2.3b.zip checking for md5 file....skipping md5 check.no md5 file found Is this missing md5 an issue?
My phone will not boot up at all. It says: Kernel is not SEANDROID ENFORCING Set warranty bit: Kernel
I can get into download mode and recovery mode but I cant get phone to boot up.
ok, so firstly the new stuff zip shouldnt be unzipped. Do you have MOAR 7.0 flashed on your phone?
if you can get to download mode, youre fine. all youd need to do is flash the OK4 tar.md5, then twrp 3.0.2, boot into twrp and enable superuser access. a reboot after that will get your phoen working again.
im gonna need some more info before you can get back to the new stuff zip file. What have you installed before getting to this bricked state? I ran MOAR for over a year, so im pretty sure we can get you fixed up. Also, every time i flashed the new stuff, i never felt that it was all that cool. MOAR is bada$$ enough by itself and doesnt really need the new stuff, stuff
SOLVED
THANK YOU Very Much for responding to my plea for help. This gave me some peace and assurance. About the same time you replied, I also got a response in the main tdunham thread. It seems I was trying to only flash the new version and not the original version! So, I"m up and running now. Thank you again for replying! I was getting desperate!

aint no thang but a chicken wing on a string
Long story short. I have downloaded about 10 different firmwares and they will not load onto Sm-N915P (Sprint Note4) I attempted to root last year and failed and I just left it alone. I came back to it now and while doing a factory reset via Twrp I wiped OS. I dont remember what firmware I had on the phone as their was no backup done. ( I know, I know now i understand why you must always do a back up). I am trying to at least get any type of firmware reloaded onto the phone. I even have a membership at sammobile now trying firmwares. I would prefer to not just keep downloading firmwares and trying them. If someone has a idea how I can get my phone back up and running.
Im not sure what information to add to this post. I do have Twrp twrp-3.0.2-0-trltespr.img running on phone. but everytime I try to load Firmware I get the MD5 error (I removed the MD5 tag and still get fail.
When I attempt to start phone i get Kernel is not seandroid enforcing (Red)
Set Warranty bit Kernel (Yellow)
